I don't know if this has been mentioned before, and I'm not reading back through 780 responses to find, out but... I think there is a glitch in GT5 with certain transmissions. I know that G25/G27 users are complaining about a certain clitch, but I think that there may be another glitch that is related/unrelated to the problem those users are reporting.

From personal experiences, I have found intermittent gear change problems when using the full racing kit, with my cars With my DFP. Every now and then when I upshift, usually around third or forth gear, the game will jump up two gears instead of one.

There is no pattern to how and when this will occur, only that it happens gradually, over a period of time. I've never noticed this happen with the stock transmission of ordinary production cars, which has led me to believe that there is a bug in there somewhere with the purchased transmissions.

Like I say, if this has been mentioned, I will stand in a corner with that hat on. :dunce  👍

Not sure if anyone has noticed or posted, but that darn horrible transition of lap-to- ghost car lap....drives me nuts. 👎

Oh, I'm talking time trial mode too, or just testing in the time trials.
I've noticed it at it's worst on Laguna.....by the time your real car flashes back, you're way off the road...:ill:

Top gear test track. Tyre wall around the hammer head. Rear view mirror shows it as cones and wooden barriers.

Also rear view mirror never shows tyre smoke.

Noticed this at the start of a race. If you change view or look behind (and then back to view forwards), each time the view changes the sound sample restarts. Not really a glitch but it sounds weird hearing the fans cheering sound restart each time you change view/look behind

I noticed this last night! I was able to get this weird, phasing "synth-pad" like sound out of it, since the engine and tyre noises also restart... :P

Sacrificed for frame rate and disk space like many other features. But hey, you get +800 PS2 quality cars instead. And you get to torture your PS3 hardware in B Spec just to get enough credits to buy them. Sweet!!

I know that already and I accept the fact that it is a JGTC car. I just find it weird because its a Lamborghini! LOL! Not trying to pick an online fight guys.. 👍

Well, I think the "Japanese" aspect is in that JGTC (now SuperGT) is administered in Japan, and most of the races take place there.

You could start complaining that none of the cars in BTCC are actually "British"...

How many people do we have to educate on this. . .
As soon as you drive a car in practice or in a race, it automatically opens up the engine rebuild and chassis restore functions. Crashing in single player online has NOTHING to do with this and contributes in NO WAY.

This is nut true for ENGINE REBUILD, since I do race 1-2 complete championship before switching to a new car and the ENGINE REBUILD option is not available often.
I think it may have something to do with how's the car been driven, like if its been hitting the limiter or something
But definetly not appear as soon as you enter a race track.

Okay, my mistake, but it is still true for the chassis restore function.

Minor mistake at the Museum Cards:

The pic shows a 1st gen Polo but the text is talking 1st gen Golfs.

Can`t take a look at the number of the card but it must be somewhere in the period 1979-1981.

The german copy of GT-5 only has german, turkish and greek as language options.

Sometimes when doing B-Spec, the B-spec driver will pit for racing tires while it's still raining and the spray behind the car will disappear. Had it happen on Nurburgring 24 and Monza. And on Monza the rain never let up and the track never dried. It was kinda funny 'cause the AI drivers kept spinning out.

The NOMAD Lamboghrini was most likely sponsored by the Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club which used to enter the 25 Hour of LeMans every year. In other words, although Lamborghini is Italian, the sponor and funder for the team was Japanese. But the reason it's not in Super GT probably has to do with the fact that it's an Italian car.

25 Hours of LeMans?

What?

In M3 Chromline If you smash up the front too much in cockpit view the "Chrome-line" of the car bends up and acts as a mirror, looks weird

The speedo reading in KMH on the Mclaren F1 is really annoying. Also, many people believe the gearing in the F1 is wrong, though I have seen contradicting data on that, but every video I have seen, shows the F1 getting through fifth pretty quick and running to top speed in sixth, which you don't even need to use in GT5.

I do know the Gearing in the C6 Z06 is off, which is pretty disappointing because it was perfect in Prologue.

The gearing in the C6 ZR1 is also wrong, this is making me wonder if any of the cars are correct.

I put a carbon bonnet on a Lexus is-f last night and after I did a few practice laps with the car, I turned the game off. When I turned the game back on, I noticed the original bonnet was on the car in the photo area, that was showing at the start of the game. So I went into the GT life garage to see that the carbon bonnet was still on the car in the small picture, but when I went in to see the car it had the original bonnet. I went into settings and the carbon bonnet was on the car in the picture there too, but it was not visible in the body part section of the settings. I went to the tunning shop and I could buy another bonnet. I didn't notice if the money was still gone from the first time I bought the bonnet.
I also checked the weight of the car and it was 1613kg after I installed the bonnet the second time, I'm not sure if I got the weight reduction twice or not but there is no other weight reduction on the car, and the one in the Lexus dealer is 1690kg which seems a lot heavier.

After using the Data Transfer Utility, to copy all data from my old PS3 to my new PS3 Slim, I noticed that some cars in my garage have no thumbnail pic & some pictures are incorrect regarding parts & paint job, they just show up as stock or just the wrong colour.

Also, after the transfer all my replays & pictures were missing. Small bugs I know, but annoying nonetheless.

press triangle on the car when looking at the garage and select create thumbnail.
