Here's one. Sorry if it has been documented.

To default a car's traction control to OFF, you either have to do a practice race or go into an A spec or B spec race with it. If you have a car in your favorites list and play with it online, it will default back to TCS ON with a value of 5 (unless it was already defaulted to OFF). This is getting really annoying because i now have to check every single car before I go drifting.

Yes, I know i can restrict TCS to OFF, but there are some people that join my lounge that can't drift with TCS off (they put TCS on 1 or 2).

Anyhoo, that's one that I have seen.

Not a glitch/bug but rather an exploit. Alot of the decisions PD made that I originally scratched my head about, make sense now as to why they did it. Why did they not allow you to copy your save data initially? Well, now that you can with the latest update, you can gift cars while still keeping them. Not gonna explain how, but it only takes common sense to figure it out....

I've been experiencing a bug where if I load a ghost file to race against in Time Trial mode, the game freezes when the ghost finishes its lap. It happens no matter what the circumstances are in terms of cars being driven or track being driven on. If I watch a replay in itself that is from a saved ghost the same thing happens as well: as soon as the ghost finishes the lap the game freezes. Anyone else experience this yet? I've been looking to see if this was covered but haven't seen it yet.

When a blue or black Focus ST is repainted to whatever color, the seats turn to orange :yuck:...so the exterior/interior colors don't match.

2 glitches I found so far..
My Mclaren stealth RPM gauge doesn't work online.
The enzo that was traded to me shows up as red in the garage, but when I click on it, it's really yellow!

When you see the red thumbnail in the garage, press triangle and click update thumbnail. Should fix it.

Does anyone know what cars don't have the backseat modeled in cockpit view?

When I first purchased my ZR1 I don't remember if it had a backseat or not. But after I RM'd it I noticed it didn't. Has anyone else noticed with other cars and/or is it just the RM cars that aren't modeled?

A couple of glitches in license tests.
When you accidentally finish one, get back to the description screen and hit "Start" fast enough, it only removes the buttons but gets stuck at repeating the engine roar. Had to quit game via PSP button.
----
A game freeze when I tried to enter Japanese GP in a GT Ford Test Car, then tried to hit Garage from the restriction list.
----
When you finish any B-Spec race and hit right arrow fast enough before your driver's experience screen, the pointer will be on the driver while the action will be on close, along with the speech bubble that says "Close".

That last one is harmless, but the first two might be in game phases where it's accessing data, hopefully only to read it so it cannot get too corrupt.. mine didn't.

There should have been a separate subforum for this instead of one messy thread.
Agreed on the 'one messy thread' 👍

Sorry if already reported:

Suzuka Rain - Opponents Dark Rain Smoke with no Apparent Reason:
During gameplay:

During replay:

Suzuka Rain - Inadequate Texture:

X2010:
1 - fuel gauge in wheel's display not working
2 - inexistent windshield wiper or functional repellent

I noticed that some cars don't have a proper 'back window' and, for lacking one, don't have a proper 'back interior view' (like the Ford Mk IV and the X2010 :D)
if I'm not mistaken that (also) ends up being the case with the RM Corvette... (I might be wrong though...👍)

I found a small glitch today while doing some bspec. Was running the 458 Italia in 3rd person view and noticed that the side mirrors were showing opposite of what they should. For example if you pass a red/white curb strip on the right side of the car it would show up on the left side mirror instead of the right. Not sure if it does this with all cars or not.

Don't know or this glitch was mentioned already: Schwarzwald Liga A is for cars under 300 HP. I needed to remove some tuning parts of my race modded Golf IV GTi to be able to participate, but I could refit them in the tuning menu (having over 320 hp) before the race started, and still being allowed.

Edit: never mind, it appears you can participate with every car, as long as it is German. I just let Bob race with the SLS AMG:indiff:

I tried to read through the whole thead but had to stop short.

*RX-7 LM race car has NO HEADLIGHTS.

When looking at the car its lights are illuminated, but i doesn't illuninate the road.

TL;DR

When changing tires on the FGT to say Wets or Intermediates the actual tire(visually) doesn't change until the next race reloads(regardless of the tire choice for that race)
So for example I chose Intermediates on Monza before the race started because it was raining they were still slicks(from the previous race). But when going to the next race and being dry and switching back to Softs before the race started the car THEN had Intermediates(visually)

Not sure if it's been posted already, but there's a bug with receiving the paint chip when you get 30 more cars every time, if you receive the ones from the online login bonus at the same time. Had it happen twice already, got Matte Purple and Matte Dark Silver while also getting 10 paint chips from the online login bonus. Got the 10 paint chips both times, but I did not receive the Matte paint chips. Already lost 2 Matte paint chips now that I should've gotten. :grumpy:

So make sure you don't buy that next 30th car when you're about to receive the online login bonus, you'll end up losing the special paint chip.

The G meter in the X2010 goes the wrong way compared to the one on the HUD

Someone in another thread had a flying X2010 in the B-spec le mans 24 hours

Found a glitch that is actually very helpful in A-Spec.

In Dream Car championship, the only one with random weather AFAIK, AI cars do not change tyres until the race has actually started.

Example: Dry oval, everyone is using dry tyres. Next race is Monza. If it's wet, AI still starts with dry tyres from the previous race and will have to pit for wet tyres. Next is Tokyo without dynamic weather. AI starts with wet and will have to pit and switch back to dry. Aaand so on.

While AI pits for correct tyres, you can easily take the lead even with a crappy car.

I was able to reproduce this glitch in Dream Car championship every time in wet tyre conditions. Wet, not intermediate.

I guess this is already known, but I don't really think that Window Wipers (that's the word, right? :S)... you know... actually work.
Also, I've noticed, that sometimes, driver's hand is really... IN the wheel. He seems to change position of his hands very often, and when you turn hard right after he switches, you can see his hands in the wheel.

If you drive a car without wipers, you will see that they do work.

This also happens with exhaust. If you change your exhaust on the tuning menu before a race, it won't actually change the sound until you exit out and reboot the race.

I've noticed a few cars have a glitch on the RPM gauge on interior views, on the BMW M5 and the Amemeya RX-7 the RPM needle works fine all the way up to the red line then it just freezes and doesn't work at all within the red line but the car is still accelerating and the HUD rev meter still works fine. Also on the McLaren F1 stealth car the rpm needle doesn't work at all.

So I was wondering if the same thing happens for everyone on these cars, or if you noticed the same problem on other cars, please let me know.

Yea common problem. The RPM thing also exist on BMW 1 series Tii concept. And regular McLaren's speedometer doesn't match the speed of the car...

I hate that. The M5 is one of my favorite cars. I haven´t noticed it on the Tii concept, like RacingManiac says, but I did noticed the speedometer problem in the McLaren. Also, my other favorite car, the Viper, the speedometer is horrible. It maxes out at 180KMH, like if it was a JDM car! I think that PD confused the big numbers that go al the way to 200 for KMH, when they are really MPH. This is not a big deal, but I hope it could be fixed with a patch...

The Mini Cooper S '07 is off by 1000RPMs, which took me a while to figure out since I turn the HUD off on premiums.
The CT230's is nonfunctional.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but on SSR7 with rain, when I get under the tunnel, sometimes thereare still water splashing from my car as if I was still outside

Last time I put SSR7 on rain, rain was falling but the road was still acting as if it was completely dry. :scared:
There's still some glitches with the weather system that need to be ironed out.

Can't see this reported before but may have missed it:
Live Timing - the fastest lap times for all competitors except yourself are understated because the first sector on the first lap is timed for all based on your starting point!
