Does anyone have any advice on how to get the south-western most corona on this (censored)ing piece of (censored) (censored) mission?
I dunno what to say. I just went onto the halfpipe, rode up the opposite side and came back down with enough velocity to make up the other side and land on the flat bit. That was the last one I collected and it didn't give me any trouble.

Having max bike skill definitely makes BMX easy because you can bunny hop your way through most of the checkpoints without actually having to start using the ramps and slopes.

If I ride straight at the up-slope, CJ makes it about halfway up. So I try to turn at the peak and ride down again. But I can NEVER get him above the last grey line on the next slope, no matter what. I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it I hate it.

I don't know what to tell you either--- I don't remember that one being difficult (and I completed it with my bike skill not even maxxed--2 seconds to spare)-- does the timer start right away or when you get the first one--- if the second, try getting that one first.

Alternately grab about 6-8 easy markers and practice that one---

Or if you know where it is in your mind--practice getting it before you start.

:censored:ing game! My game freezes like once every damn hour! Good thinG I already completed the story missions. You won't believe how many times I had to restart a damn mission because of the game freezing. Maybe its because I got the earlier models of the PS2, either way its getting on my nerves everytime I play the game.

Right, I've now done it, but I still hate it.

I'm going to spend a few days planning my route and, in the lull between Chrimbo and the New Year, I'm going to turn in a sub-50hr game. Promise... :D

I'm sure its possible-- I spent alot of time just exploring-- knowing where to go and what to do is 1/2 the battle-- I'll try it one of these days...maybe soon. My heart just isn't into working on my killing stats--- I'm at about 9200 now (pretty pathetic for me).

I have been working on some stunts around SF-- and have found that the low hedges (in front of some houses) will really boost your height (not rediculously high) but surprisingly high on a PCJ or NRG-- you shouldn't be going too fast and have to pop a wheelie to get the boost.

For stamina, put the exercise bike on level 10 then just ride that until your told to leave the gym. Do that for about 10 days, im sure that'll boost your stamina up to nearly max.

My friend just found out you could skip songs on radio stations. Just switch to a different station, then back to the one you want to change and wait until the radio station name text changes yellow then switch away once more. When you go back to it the track will have changed. Pretty neat.

where exactly is the gym i know that there is one im just not sure where is is and do u get it unlocked after a mission or anything

Pause, Map, Show Legend (that's the X button, in case you can't follow on-screen instructions), look for symbol pertaining to "Gym". Hide Legend (X button again), look on map for symbol. It looks like a dumbell, appropriately. There's three of them.

Round the back of Ryder's house (I think... :indiff: ) is a shovel and im pretty sure they are all over SF/LV but anyway i wanted to know what they are for. I heard a rumour in a ps2 magazine that you can dig holes with it but the article somewhat diagressed and started talking about "bastard japanese" :ill:

Im pretty sure you can only use it as a weapon but i want to make sure.

Anyone know what you can do with it? If you could dig holes that would be quality.

I heard, they were able to dig shallow graves in a magazine, about a month before SA was released, and I guess you never get to do that.

I came across this on another forum:

If you go to the X marked on the attached map, there's a trailer park. Across the road from it on the grassy verge by the sea, a pedestrian spawns with a camera. He takes a few pics of Los Santos across the water and then walks into the sea and commits suicide! Weird. It seems to be complete random what pedestrian model it is. On one occasion, it was a guy in a cowboy hat who said to me "Looking like you do, you're an easy target for them" before going to his watery grave. Whatever the hell that means. Has anyone heard a pedestrian say that?

There's a Monster in the trailer park as well. I didn't know it was available apart from outside the Los Santos stadium.

edit: Forgot to attach map. :dunce:

I was messing around with a Rhino up on Chilliad and drove it off (a couple of times)--- I didn't get any stats close to KM's ( I did get a good run off the ramp) but the tank just nosed down-- I got a few bounces but nothing spectacular.

Anyway down at the base I started messing around and I ended up flipping the tank on its side--- I kept firing and I got the tank moving pretty fast on its side---the tank ended up upside down and I kept firing--- I managed to get the tank up off the ground (I don't remember how my turret was but it was at an odd angle) and it did a few flips/spins just from firing the turret--- I messed around for a while doing this and got a couple of flips spins but nothing like the first one--- I'm betting if you get lucky bouncing down chilliad you can get a wicked spin/flip stats by firing--- I think you don't want to get too much air when you jump off so you can get some bounce rolls into the mix.

yeah, ive got some wicked bounces and rolls jumping off mt chillad, i even got a semi up mt chillad. Roadtrain + tanker. jumped off and went at warp speed towards thebottom.

another funny thing i was doin was crusing on the highway from angel pine to SF and i swerved to miss a car and my tralier (i was in roadtrain) bonced straigt off and went pass me at a great rate of knots, drifted over to oncoming traffic and owned some cars. It was so funny and jeez the tralier was moving.

Go to GTAGaming.com theres a lot of these, weird happenings there.
Any of them verified? I browse through GTAforums.com a bit and there's a LOT of claims of weirds stuff, and they're either threads with no pics, videos or details to verify anything, or they're boring claims like plane crashes.

It's kinda like the thread here where more than one person claimed to have been chased by a ghost car. When I explained my skepticism and asked anyone to verify it.... silence.

i imagine with some practice you could manage some good 2 wheel bonuses with the rhino.. just messing around i got a 5 second one.. if you press R2 or L2 like your gonna do a drive by, turn slightly toward the direction your turret is facing and if you keep firing the turret it should keep you on two wheels.. its a little tricky but still pretty fun..

also, in the video i posted a link to (psy's video), he jumps off chiliad with an infernus (no nitrous) and for some reason the car starts flipping faster and faster.. anyone know why? i've tried to copy what he did but to no avail.. i think he managed 6 flips and i wanna say like 2500 or so degrees of rotation

I managed 4 seconds on 2 wheels by accident with the Rhino while messing around on 6 stars. I was driving through the desert by Area 69 and hit a rock and went up on 2 wheels and it stayed on 2 wheels while I drove on.

The record should be split into normal 2 wheel stunts and the crane trick one. I've no interest in the crane one because it sounds a bit silly but I'd like to practice sometime with the Caddy again or other similar vehicles to see how easy or hard they are to balance on 2 wheels.

Haven't you gone through the driving school? You can control your car's rotation while it's in air. ;)

Can you? I was wondering what the point of the driving skill was. I hadn't noticed that cars handled any differently and I've never even tried to control a car midair. Do you use the left or right analog stick to help it spin and flip?
