Oh yes I noticed the flaring thing. No wonder after I got the 2012 GTR, my pictures came out sexy and Realistic !

I found it - in Photo Travel, anyways, will continue a more thorough investigation when I get home

I have investigated that yesterday. Flare and bloom are still there but if you turn any filter on and then off they are gone. State without filter does not reset bloom and flare settings.

Examples
- enter camera mode
- bloom and flare are there

- enter camera mode
- set filter to mono
- turn filter off
- bloom and flare are gone

-enter camera mode
- set filter to warm
- turn filter off
- flare is gone and bloom is even heavier than in normal mode

to reset "non-filter" state you have to exit and reenter camera mode with filters off

I searched for it too.......but no, it's not working like before. At least for me.

I didn't want to make another topic, but is bloom/lens flare still there? I noticed it for awhile after it initially came back, but now I can't seem to recreate it anymore. Any ideas or is it just certain courses it is on?

No, only bloom is there, you can toggle it off by selecting monochrome and back to none, and turn it on by exiting and entering, and make it heavier by switching to warm, then back to none.

I know, it's quite aggravating, but hopefulyl the update in march will bring us much more than lens flares.
