Luckily zabeu is not competing as I know he would be one more competitor who's able to be above me... :)

Thanks a lot mate for the kind words, coming from you they really mean a lot to me. 👍

Ha, Timo, you're being far too kind to me. The one time I managed to end up ahead of you in hotlapping your record was already half a year old, and it took me two full days of driving to pull ahead by a grandiose 3/1000th of a second - I'd rather call that a tie. Nah, no threat there but thanks for the kind words mate! 👍

I do like the TT demo physics, especially the N tyres. But still, the Z/Indy combo isn't really tickling me. (Add to that my general preference for racing over hotlapping, my happiness with my current occupations, and finally my age and poor stamina which pretty much preclude a job as a race driver anyway.) Might be different if it was an NSX/N/Nordschleife combo - only twelve more weeks if we're all lucky! ;)

Edit: You may want to check the first post for updates on tie resolution and the newly introduced marking of recently submitted lap times.

Times submitted in the last 24 hours are marked with a green background tint. (Except for times already in the gtdb archive on 0h on the 4th of January, GMT.)

Wow! Very nice addition, again! 👍

Totally agree! 👍 Makes the following so much easier  Where do you get all these great ideas? :)

Tim, you amaze me not just for being one of the fastest mates I know, I think you have covered any field in that database!!! :scared:

Polyphony Digital should have a look at your database to see how the top job must be done. 👍👍👍

Thanks everyone, very glad you all like it so well.

I don't know exactly how things like these work but most of the ideas in the TT pages are born out of necessity - I look at the table and think "it would be nice to be able to see the gaps between records" and then everything follows more or less naturally. Or it becomes evident people compare P20 times in the different regions, so why not turn that into a feature.

Marking new records was something I felt was needed ever since the first version because, as you say, it's so much easier to follow the drama unfolding ;) It was a feature of http://gt.hobby-site.com/gt5a/ before gtdb had it, so whoever runs that site should get the credits for this idea.

Edit Thanks Ramon you are way too kind!

Zabeu, just dropping in to give my thanks for the great work you've put in re: Database.

My pleasure, osg 👍

Latest addition is a team ranking - each team's five quickest times added together. It sees GTP in first, but GTro in hot pursuit ;)

In this table, there's one flag displayed for each driver in the team's top five. Hovering over the flag will show his/her name.

It's a pitty I didn't register my name as a GTP_ otherwise GTP would have a slightly bigger gap 👎

If we can throw some ideas up in the air, how about #1 ranking? :) Same way as the #20 ranking ;) 👍

edit, wow the team ranking is really nice 👍 Gives tiny bit more motivation to get those "last" hundreths off :)

Timo, that's already done: http://gtdb.net/?tt/cut/1 - it just wasn't advertised ;) and doesn't filter out Sr. Ordoñez - much to the shame of the Irish, I suppose (get him already, guys! 👍)

(It's easier to write that function so it works with any place from 1 to 250, rather than write one for P20 and another for P250.)

Now shave those last 1/100ths off

And what about the average time of the 20 first in each country?... in the official Facebook page they are updating some days a leaderboard of countries following this average time. I think you could do easily watching your really excellent work 👍

Thanks dani, there you go: http://gtdb.net/?tt/avg/20

(Again, you can replace the 20 with whatever number you're interested in. And let me grasp this opportunity to express my respect for your great performance in this TT - though I expected nothing less from you ;))

Thanks Zabeu. I'm sure you could beat me because you are an excellent driver too 👍

Really good work with the averages 👍 👍 . Spain continues in 2nd place :D

Hello all,

I'm new user in GTPlanet forum and I want to congratulate Zabeu for this fantastic job in http://gtdb.net. Absolutelly amazing standings compilation!

After reading about world standings using controller (SixAxis) or steering wheel in another thread, I'm going to dare Zabeu suggesting him to implement a new board that reflect that. It would be great! Dont' you think so?

Nice to meet you all. Many thanks to Zabeu for this wonderful tool.

Thanks guys, my pleasure (and Dani thanks for the kind words 👍 but I have some doubts about that - hotlapping is not my cup of tea, I want company on the race track ;))

Turbodeif, welcome to gtplanet :) I'm sorry but currently there are no plans for adding this function to gtdb, for reasons laid out a few posts back in this thread.

At last!! George has posted a time with the red car and he appears on the leaderboards!!!!

Now i can beat him fair and square.

Despite my initial reservations, I felt I shouldn't let the pad driver clique down (having been one myself for two and a half iterations of GT, after all :D) - so now there's a little pad icon next to a driver's name if he's using the SixJackSis(tm).

And there's this too: http://gtdb.net/?tt/pad

Wow...impressive as always zabeu

I'm sure A LOT of controller users will really appreciate your latest efforts 👍
