Got a copy of GT6, ask questions here

Laughing pretty hard at all of the hardcore Gran Turismo fanboys that are posting about being disappointed. I told you guys to keep your expectations in check for this game; but nope, you went and expected GT6 to have every single feature you ever dreamed up and of course there was absolutely no way that was going to happen so now some of you are throwing a tantrum. This is the best gift GT6 could have given right here.

I'm pretty excited for the game to come out a week from now because I had realistic expectations and GT6 has met those expectations.

:( :D

GTP, FROM NOW ON, ALL YOUR ARGUMENTS SHALL BE AUTOMATICALLY INVALIDATED, REGARDLESS OF WHATEVER THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ON THE GROUNDS OF THIS MACHINE BEING IN THE GAME

Well i'm sure the 2010 and 2011 BMW's are pretty much the same car in real life (not an expert though).

Anyway, nice to see some of the standards have actually been improved like that Ruf.
I think one is a VLN racer & the other is ALMS, which I'm assuming are built to different regulations. Probably not a noticeable difference, though.

So all this time you guys were counterspinning your steering wheels in those tight hairpin turns and not slamming into walls upon corner exit? I call BS. I heard that maybe I was suppose to adjust controller sensitivity and that would have tightened up the steering response in GT5, is that true? Games like Need for Speed Shift had wheel lock that could be applied to every car. GT5 never got that option added and neither does GT6?
What kind of wheel were you using FFB settings?
I know my wheel snaps back very nicely all I have to do is release some grip as I exit the corner and it comes back toward center. I did notice that with the DFGT that if the FFB was not all the way up on some corners it would not return fast enough but I do not remember having that issue with the Fanatec wheel and even with the dfgt it was only a factor on a couple of tracks.

As for wheel lock, The fanatec wheels have that on the wheel and you can adjust it as you please.

Shift II on the other hand was likely the worst game I have ever played with a wheel. Or at least the 360 version was. FFB was absolutely horrible on that game.

BMW E30 would be a pleasant suprise. But I feel stupid for asking somehow...lol

@Boabdul could you let me know how much you can customise wheel setting's please

Also are the RUF's still standard?

Real classy PD, "E92 M3" and M3 GT. Same power, same PP, same chassis, different stickers...BOOM! COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CAR!!! 👎👎👎

Seriously what is the point of a premium and a standard M5. More padding than a football game.

* Nope. There are already pics of BMW dealership and it's not there.
* RUFs still standard but they look decent enough. Not HD material but at least they aren't crap.

Because that way the advertisements for your products can say they are TWO cars. So you can have a game with A MILLION CARS!!!! I mean, hasn't EVERYONE been vocal and disapproving of the whole duplicate listing thing?

Come on PD...sometimes I believe you're geniuses. Sometimes, I believe you're mentally challenged. Today it's a tie...

I could tell you one thing, I can see an improvement in terms of graphics when it comes to some of the Ruf's. Especially the BTR

Can you post close-up photo mode pictures of this car?
It seems to have been improved, but it would be interesting to see in detail how.

EDIT: Ah, I forgot you might not have enough credits for this request yet.

Have you downloaded any patch after install the game? I think it's possible that the "Day One Patch" has not yet been released and some problems could be corrected.

I've driven them both in GT5, the earlier M5 is lighter and has a different transmission from what I recall, theres subtle differences.

I'm sorry if its been asked, but has PD corrected any of the inaccurate cars in GT6? I know that they '13 Veyron is wrong, I assume this day one patch will fix it and the others though.

Reading this confirms my initial thoughts that the physics and Track list is the reason to buy GT6.

Nothing too impressive features wise.
