Got a copy of GT6, ask questions here

Using that logic, since the online features are currently locked out this must mean we will never be able to race online. That's it, I'm canceling my pre-order as well. And since I'm a multi-monitor user, thanks for saving me $180!

Of course that's not the same thing, seeing as you can see those options on the menu. But hey, if you want to grasp at straws be my guest.
Half of those complaining about the endurance races haven't even completed the 60 Grand Valley laps in GT5....

The only enduro's I didn't do in GT5 were the 9 Hour Tsukuba and 24Hour ones because by the time they introduced in-race saves I had long been bored of GT5 and had moved on.

Again, it's not just about the enduro's, it's the fact that if I seemingly can finish the career mode in a weekend and that doesn't make a good game in my eyes.

24- Can you toggle the High/Low beam in standard cars at night?
-
Yes.

Connected to this answer - can you flash your headlamps when you drive a standard car? And how about working reverse lights? I've heard that these standard cars don't have working wipers though... Thanks for reading! :)

It depends on how you play every day..i think that to finish the career in 3/4 days you must to play 6/7 hours every day...and i repeat, if you want to earn all gold medals 3/4 day aren't enough ;)

This is totally made up and irrelevant for having the 'right to complain' or not. It is claims like these that make it totally useless to discuss with you. Talking about a knockdown argument...

I hope there will be true endurances. It is optional, so why impose on the enthusiasts to not having it? It baffles me.

I'm not saying that. Complaining is Ok, is normal and even reasonable. But not buying a game just because of that... Way too ridiculous

True enough, but it still took me months of playing roughly 4 hours a day to beat GT4.

Crazy.. you don't even have all the facts yet! I'm loving the new GT, when the sounds are updated plus some other stuff it will be a bargain.

I don't have all the facts, but I do have enough to make a decision on whether or not I feel the game is worth it.

Why is it ridiculous to not buy a game because one of the main features of a game isn't how I'd like it to be? I could understand not liking it if I came in here and said nobody should buy it, but I have said nothing like that.

Well, that was not really reflected in your post, was it? Not a very nice way of putting it, IMO.

I do fully agree though, cancelling a pre-order because someone rumors that those S races are the endurances is borderline idiotic. Certainly because the maker of that screenshot has not even gotten further yet to confirm that no endurances will pop up later. Sigh...

It is not even about the feature. It is about the fact that you made your decision based on a rumor, an unconfirmed notion. But if you are influenced that easily, it's your choice.

True that, poor souls.

You can't pause a online race to go see to the kids or whatever, so for some people i can completely understand the disappointment.
Still doubt that Super race series pic is it, as far as endurance races go.

For sure! Come around whenever you like ;)

Of course PD messed the things up, but not having 3 or 4 races (9-12 and 24 hours ones) is no reason for not buying a game that offers much more.
 I totally agree, i'm still really excited but I love the enduros :(

What's unconfirmed about people reaching the first "end" movie within 3 days of the game leaking? Even if there is a new set of events after the S races, it's still a pitiful career mode that PD should be ashamed of(imo).

Anyways, I'm done with this as it's off-topic and neither of you get to tell me whether or not my reasons are good enough or not. Unless you want to send me money that is.

Someone can take a shot of jay leno tank car? how it looks in GT6?
It looks the same as in GT5/GT4. It hasn't been upgraded like some other Standard cars and still features, for example, baked shading (shading with differently colored textures rather than the engine's lighting engine) and low quality, pixel-painted textures.

You should think about people who like endurance races. I don't have the time to play a online 24h race, but i play them offline, because i can save my progress.

I don't understand why people like the idea of those 24 minute races. 2,40 hours would be fine, but 24 minutes is a joke. There is a reason why those races are called endurance races. Will we complain about difficulty hard beeing hard in the future?

"Why is the difficulty hard hard an not easy? I want 100%"
Dude. It's a bad design choice. The Enduros are a trademark of the Gt series to do a "24 Hour race" if you want to. You think because some people don't have the time to do a 24 Hour Race it shouldn't be in the game? Think about those who want to do it and not yourself...

Also.Weren't there complaints about a game series relating to racing being inferior for not having these features? So, whats with the hypocriticism?

Thanks for providing the format for my argument.
Well yeah but don't you think it is alittle depressing sometimes to see your progression being half finish? It may not bother you, others and sometimes me much but I dislike seeing it not being 100%. But hey, I'm not sure why PD made that choice, so what can we do, whine all day about it like the microtransactions? Just get over it please, seriously, the choice has made.

I bet you on that too.

Sadness :(

I personally don't mind these semi-endurance races and I'm looking forward to doing them. They seem to be just the right length to no be so physically demanding. However, I will agree these are by no means a substitute for real endurance races.

Maybe they should get rid of all the races so we can get 100%? ;)

Its a hard earned accolade to have 100% in a GT game. Why demerit that?

And also, it's a game, so it taking longer to complete for the same amount of money is only welcome. That's why we buy games, to have gameplay hours for our entertainment, right? And if you don't feel like doing those endurances, it's easily skippable.

Well, I just went from excited to cancelling my pre-order, thanks for saving me $60.
You are cancelling based on the view of a game that apparently hasn't been activated fully, as intended by the day one patch? Okay, I understand that a number of people want certain things in the game, but to pin it all on one feature or aspect...

Anyway, your call I suppose.

Anyone can post a pic of the Lotus Carlton?? Thanks
This too looks the same as in GT5/GT4. No added 3d detail at all, same old textures.
Upgraded Standard in GT6 have at the very least more visible (3D) seams/gaps between body panels.
If they don't, it means they haven't been reworked at all by PD, for what I have seen so far (I've been hunting for upgraded Standard cars).

Haha. Now that is what I call easy 100%ing the game.

True. I mean I'll love to have enduros too for others as well. I really wonder why PD did it though. Hmm.
GT6 marks a new approach to a GT game. They are going to make mistakes- as long as we let them know we have, GT7 should in theory remedy the problem!

Sorry but I think the endurance races of GT5 were ridiculous. I'm a family man and simply don't have the time to do huge long races, even if I pause and continue later. This is the only thing that kept me from getting 100% completion on GT5.

I really dislike this point of view/excuse that people use to defend companies that are dumbing down games and implementing pay-for-shortcut microtransactions. If I love spending all my free time with family, then I do family activities.

I don't want to join a baseball team, and pay a fee so that I can hit off a tee, while everybody else is having to take bats from live-pitching. I don't want all baseball commissioners to dumb down the rules in baseball, and mandate that everybody hits off a tee, so that people who choose to spend more time with their families can be on an equal playing field.

If I can't make the proper time investment required to accomplish something, or be competitive, then I play another game more compatible with my time constraints. But I don't want to ruin the depth and complexity and competitive integrity that hard core gamers are looking for in their video games.

And btw, I'm a married man with 2 kids myself. I pull all nighters if I have to, don't sleep on the weekends sometimes, etc. this may sound crazy to some, but it's all apart of the fun.

People seem to worship this day one patch as if it were some sort of god.

"The patch will come and make everything all right"

It's really your own fault that you can't read.
1. It hasn't been confirmed that those races are the ''endurance'' races. There is a big chance there are actual endurance races.
2. The screen of the ending movie was when he skipped a lot of races and went straight to the final championship. He said so himself.

But feel free to make up things and prove me wrong,eh.
