So my wheel started acting funny during this race....great. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I spun off track and went into the gravel, and the damn wheel wouldn't register me turning to the left. Just to the right. The car did about 10 360s in the gravel and never once registered the correct direction I had it pointed to. I just give up. Even when there's nobody in the f%#!ing room and I can run a clean race something happens to me.

Maybe this used T150 I bought last year is finally starting to show it's age...

Probably. I’d recommend getting the thrust master t300 it’s good for the money. BUT, amazon has the G29 for 180 atm

Probably the T300. I just bought the T3PA pro pedals not but a few months ago when my stock pedals broke. Might be time to just buy the new wheel.

Major bummer man hopefully it all somehow will fix itself and you can get back to racing....ty for letting us know what happened, I know it's not much but you'll still recieve last place points for the night due to issues out of your control

@kpstormie The T300 isn’t a bad buy just so you know. I got one and it’s great. The ffb does cut in and out though (e.g. it’ll go from hard core ffb to a maxed out T150 lol) since its belt driven. I’m guessing that’s how it cools itself..Even then it still feels pretty good. I’m looking to get the Ferrari F1 wheel add-on at some point.

Have you put your wheel in force cooling mode (cooling fan always stays on)?
Iv never owned a T300, but while researching wheels, iv read owners had to connect their T300 to a PC and turn on force cooling mode to prevent over heating.

If that’s what the “mode” button’s for, then I think so. Thanks for telling me that because it does get kinda annoy when I’m rounding a corner and the ffb goes from what I set it at to feeling like a T150 lol. I have seen someone overheat theirs so I really try to think about my cornering. If I hear those belts rubbing, then I try to clean my driving up.

Have you ever thought about turning your force feedback down to have a consistent feel?

I personally run with ffb at 4 or 5 depending on the feeling of the car and so its atleast consistent

@Neutty @Herimopp89 I can’t quite remember my setting but I do have them kinda high. I kinda like a heavy feel with the steering. Helps me hone in on my lines better plus it keeps me from overdriving. I have a bad habit of doing that when I’m trying to catch someone. Even when I had my T150 I had my settings on GT maxed out.

Yea I agree with you when I first started using the wheel my setting was very high and after time and getting tired of losing the steering I tried to get it so it wouldnt drop off at all....granted on some cars it still does but I can deal with it now

hey guys i wanted to ask you guys that are gonna be on tonight if anyone wants to run the 2 hours of yamagiwa or do some dirty racing instead. let me know what you guys want to do and we will get it set up tonight

Are you driving a race car or a school bus?
LMAO what can I say? I like the feel. I had FFB Max Torque and Sensitivity both on 10 on my T150 and I got so use to it the FFB felt like power steering after a while. I didn't worry too much about it going out on me because the T150 isn't entirely belt driven. I still tried to be smooth with it though. As far as the T300, anything above 8 on the FFB starts feeling heavy for me.
