Here's a Jaguar concept I created today... Still needs more work done to it, but I'm happy with it so far. 👍

Aww, thanks editor & gtr. 👍

There are still some areas which look cartoony, like the glass, pillars and headlights... I'll try and fix them. It's still not nearly as awesome as most of the stuff in this thread. I need to know how 'gtuned' and 'Taiga' edit their stuff... Those pictures are frikkin inspiring!

Cartoony my rear end! I'm trying to get to that level of editing where you can make a new car just from the existing ones. That actually looks like a believable concept car!
As for the head lights you might want to add a Dodge/Burn stroke to create a "ridge" to make it look like the lights are set into the car, but other wise, still great work.

You should give it a go... It's surprisingly easy. I painted an XKR and a Citroen GT in the same colour, then took the same picture of them on the same track, and merged them together with a whole lot of smudge tool. The citroen turned out to be a very good base car, because there is a lot of different angles and reflections I can re-use.

Ooh, that's a nice idea... I'll give that a try. 👍 I didn't even think about indenting the headlights into the bodywork. Thanks.

So, I was trying to make a kinda (not completely) beat up and kinda somewhat ugly street/drift car. Question is....is it "kinda" ugly enough?
Edit: You might want to enlarge the photo to see some of the small cosmetic damage.

The fender was replaced in case you're curious as to why it's black. I know that's not a factory 180sx engine, it's an EUO. (Engine of Unknown Origin)

lol, I totally missed how impossible that should be to do while in your gallery, weird. That is awesome though. How did you do that?

I've only copied a open door and interior from a real picture and pasted it in and then adjusting the colors and lighting ;)

Ahh, yeah shame about the res difference as lilmann pointed out. But you matched the angle very well and the intergration is great. 👍 👍

lol, Well I finished this... but I don't know how much GT5 is left in it.

Ah, those head lights look a lot better with the dodge/burn added in. I liked the old Back ground though at SSRX. It really added to the atmosphere of the picture as a whole. Still great work either way.

Yeah I thought so too.
