Deffo not...

Like I said earlier....

Sonys whole 3DTV release schedule begins in June , thats for both US and UK markets with Japan around the same time too. Considering most other major TV brands have already started shipping or will be before Sony release their 3DTVs.

Are we to believe E3 has nothing to do with Sony delaying their 3DTV launch to June or indeed that its just coincedence? Considering the lack of 3DTV content available to push this format forward, a real lack of 3D Blu Rays isnt enough. Additionally consumers have to not only purchase an expensive 3DTV but then an expensive 3D Blu Ray player. This all falls right into Sonys benifits....

Consoles were a big part of HDTV sales so maybe Sony is thinking PS3 and indeed PS 3DTV content can be a major factor to help drive 3DTV sales and of course more sales of their PS3 hardware.
The PS3 is the only option for consoles to offer proper 720p 3D gaming, Microsoft cant offer this with X360. It will hlep promote PS3 as superior to X360 now. Not to forget a free update will convert a PS3 for 3D Blu Ray making it an attractive purchase and saving 3DTV purchasers from having to buy a dedicated 3D Blu Ray player.

Add in some 3DTV games and well if a consumer is going to want 3DTV Sony seem to be making a statement that the PS3 is "the best platform" to use to enjoy such content. If GT5 isnt part of this promotion Id be shocked particulary if it doesnt help promote PS3 and 3DTV.

Seriously if PS3 3D Games are not on display at E3 I will stop drinking coffee. :scared:
Sony have the chance to own E3 this year, its 10x more important than TGS and hopefully they will be showcasing PS3 3DTV update / Move / Head-Tracking and of course GT5.

Dont forget this is Sonys biggest and likely most expensive ever title and therefore its release has to maximise sales of more hardware as well. Its only now at this years E3 that all this 3DTV stuff is in place to which GT5 is definately linked and imo is Sonys leading game to promote it. If this is the case then it doesnt make sense that GT5 perhaps isnt released to FALL. Even so E3 has to be the place we finally get to learn and hopefully see much more of it.

GT5 is it really just another game release for Sony or much more?

A 3D GT5 demo at E3 isn't vital to the 3D hype or the GT hype.

Sony has plenty of other 3D titles to show off and all the Move stuff to promote as well which will be their main promotion.

A release date, new demo with some new cars and tracks, and lots of new info about the game will have all of us here and the media gaga about GT5 again.

I disagree I think GT5 is Sony's Killer App for 3DTV along with its update for Blu Ray 3D.

Plenty of other games?
GT5 / Superstardust / Wipeout / I believe have been the only playable titles in 3D. Anything else shown was aparently only in video form and as yet not confirmed to be a 3D title. Still yes Id expect a new 3D Motorstorm title to be announced at E3.

Out of all of those GT5 is the one that has been confirmed for actual Blu Ray release and showcased the most and I think anyone would agree is the AAA title that would encourage 3D sales more compared to the others.

This.

A 3D GT5 demo might be expected, but I don't think it's vital to the hype, either. What's more vital to 3D GT5 is GT5's hype, itself. The 3D version is dependent on the quality of the game itself.

Can't wait for E3 that seems so long away from now for me I have my exams before:yuck:.

Does anyone know if we'll be able to see it in streaming? As in 2009?

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be streamed live.

At least we will have 3 main conferences streamed on ustream. Last time SONY blog provided us with a link to their live stream. Also G4 TV should have their own live stream as well, both work really good. So do not worry.

Not long to go now ,All I want really is E3 2010 GT5 demo on my PSN :D

Yea, that would be neat. Even if it's only 3 minutes like most of the demos we've seen on Youtube. I'd take it!

I'd prefer the supercar class over any other class right now, though. Cannot wait to get my hands on the 458, ZR1, 560-4, ACR, F1, etc, etc.

A new demo is what we need. The TT demo wasn't even a snack.

I don't know. I'd kind of like to have a demo, or an upgrade of Prologue with the new physics. Of course, this depends on how long it will be before we get the game itself.

While supercars and race cars are cool and all, I want to spend most of my time exploring the world of sports cars, and enjoy the thrill of owning hundreds of beauties I could never hope to in real life. And it will be satisfying to put Dan Greenawalt in his place, and force the man to learn a little humility. Japanese developers, especially the classy ones, know when to talk, and when to let the games do the bragging.

Yeah, me too. 👍 A new demo would be awesome, but frankly, I'm interested to see an update to Prologue. I'm convinced that GT5 dev is finished ( despite of what Kaz says about "rushing with the game" ), so patching Prologue with the new physics, one more track ( Tsukuba would be nice ) and adding a dozen of old japanese '80 and '90 junkies would be like Christmas in advance. ;) It would also, boost the sales of Prologue till the full game releases, and give players the oportunnity to experience the new physics of the game with different cars, if the 370Z was that hard to drive in the TT, can you imagine how a Elise will behave on the new physics?

Just on the topic of streaming, may I heartily recommend GameSpot's E3 streaming coverage.

They've been absolutely stellar for the last two years I've been watching E3 on GS.

The last thing I want to see coming out of PD is another public demo or an update to Prologue. Wasted effort as far as I am concerned.

Pffff. IF they released such an update act like you wouldn't spend at least 50 hrs playing it.:ouch:
Damn right I wouldn't spend 50 hours playing it. I haven't even spent 5 hours playing Prologue itself. Probably spend more time with the GTHD demo than anything purely because it's on my hard drive, loads quick, and is great for when you feel like a quick blast around a track. But no, I would not upgrade Prologue or play a new demo, not when the full game is out this year (we hope).

I'm happy to watch a few videos and whatnot, but having your cake and eating it can make you sick.

Although any upgrade for Prologue is always welcomed by me as I still play it almost on a daily basis, albeit it very shortly nowadays, a new GT5 demo makes probably more sense from a marketing point of view as those who've already bought Prologue will probably be aware of GT5 arriving "soon".
Those gamers who already bought a PS3 ( not specifically for GT5 ) are the ones needed to be persuaded as they casually pop into the PS-store to download "new stuff".
Those hardcore fans waiting for GT5 to arrive before purchasing a PS3 as well as those of us who already play Prologue are more or less a given to PD/Sony.

Here is that infamous leaked E3 list that Sony refused to comment on today:

Notice something missing from Sony's line-up? O.o

Never mind having your cake and eating it, you barley have had a slice of cake with 5 hours playtime!
True, but it was one of those cakes covered in a thick layer of ultra-sweet icing. Didn't need much!

Haha, I'd laugh so hard if GT5 was a no-show and Microsoft had footage of Forza 4 showing the Top Gear Test Track with an all-new graphics engine, full damage on all cars, and to top it all off, in 3D!

Forza 4 already? Damn, typical American business tactics, over saturation year after year game after game, why dont they gather resources focus their energy on one massive game and unleash it in a Hadokken of racing glory, instead of coming out with continuous Friday the 13th-like sequels just to stay competitive.

It's like video game A.D.H.D.

It's kind of worrying when you remember what Kaz said in that interview the other week. he said someting about wanting gamers to find out all of GT5's stuff for themselves when they play it.

I have a feeling that we won't be seeing the "media blowout" that we are all expecting.

I predict just a short teaser trailer and release date.

I think we'd be most satisfied with that, as long as we have a concrete date where we can expect it realistically, and blame them if they flop.

How hard would it be to print out a list and photograph it.
Sorry Id need more to go on before believing that list.

Then again if I was to fake such a list I wouldnt put "Mass Effect 3" in the Sony section...

FAIL!

You could well be right, and to be honest, I'd be perfectly happy with that. I'm all for finding out the content for myself, but I'd like to know when I can do that.

It's fake. FM4 is semi-confirmed, but it'll be another 2-3 years before we see it.

Lol that is so fake as some people already stated, Mass Effect is distributed by EA. Oh and Bad Company 3? Not gonna happen I think, BF3 is next i think. And why would the studio Quantic Dream make Fahrenheit 2, when the first game failed and Heavy Rain was a huge success? We won't see a Fahrenheit 2...

Oh and "Call of Duty: MMO"?:lol:

I agree it looks like a fake.

I do think that GT5 will make an appearance, I am sure I read somewhere that Kaz has already said he is going to E3.

If its out this year surely there has to be a release at either E3 or TGS, if its TGS for release date then I think E3 will be used to build up some more hype.

Were the previous GT's announced at E3 or TGS?

Regards to call of duty MMO, that has actually been rumoured, Activision are going to milk COD as much as they can. They have a 3rd person game coming out as part of the same franchise aswell.
