It was more of a statement with a ? at the end.
If they give you everything at E3, there will be nothing to show in the 3-5 months before release. This forum will be filled, again, with moaners saying PD isn't giving us anything.

That's all I want from you. An explanation of your own. You often ask for an explanation from the person you're talking to, but that makes it feel like an intimidating interview. When you give me YOUR own ideas and expand the conversation, it becomes an actual conversation/discussion. :)

Either way, revealing a lot won't hurt. I mean, do you want to live any more in dark? I don't!

Yes, actually. Knowing less keeps the suspense as well as keeps my patience in check. The more I know and the better it sounds, the more I need it then and there.

Well, this discussion boils down to personality and preference.

You may not want to be in this thread in 46 days if you hate news:dunce::dopey::yuck:

a release date is fine for me.
And some things to get excited about,
but hell, not everything.. I want to say WOW when i get it

Being a techy person.

I want to see headtracking, triple screen mode and 3D shown.
Confirmation of the games features/options. Is weather in or out?

New demo showing 100% finished product quality.

People could freak out asking why they have to wait 5 months when the game looks finished.

No reason they cant have a build of a track or tracks and the games engine/physics that are pretty much final. If other game demos can be released in advanced giving an idea of the final product why not GT5.

Demos come out on PSN a week before the game is launched. Betas come out a month or two ahead but they are nowhere near finished.

Japan people are very precise and patient. So they will probably release final GT5 as perfect as they want to be. And after that rewards will fill in they development studio.

Hate to break it to you guys, but... GT5 isn't gonna be at this year's E3. Just look:

...

*sits back, grabs popcorn and waits for the explosion of comments to occur of WHAT THE 🤬?!?! NO GT5?!?!*

*goes back to play GT4*

:D

Geez Louise, you'd think that no one had heard of dark comedy ever before. :odd:

Seriously though, considering the reactions that people on here are giving, getting so ravenous over every little piece, snippet or chunk of GT5 info and being disappointed again and again and again by seeing the same old thing repeatedly, I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few people felt that way at the moment.

I mean, look at how a lot of you behaved when it came to the "Ask Andrew House" thread over at the PS forums, it was absolutely ridiculous and I read it all, end to end. So don't get all high and mighty now people because of a dark joke that I've made because that just screams hypocrite to me.

First off I did not participate in that Andrew House Q&A, and everybody is entitled to express their sense of humor.
I am aware of dark comedy, and quite like it actually, but that is not the same as a bad joke.
I just found it a slightly disturbing suggestion, but mainly not very funny, hypocrite or not............

I said a lot of you, not every single person and didn't mention any one person in particular.....don't take things out of context.

If it's a bad joke then so be it.

Don't worry about it - people do that all the time in these forums in their quest for political correctness and diplomatic neutrality, but only when it suits them.

If it's a bad joke then so be it.
It wasn't a bad joke at all - I had a bit of chuckle as I read it! It was clearly written in good humour, and there was no reason for anybody to feel disturbed by it. If they were, they had better stay indoors all their life, because there is plenty worse out there.

Okay, settled then, although you reacted after two comments including one of mine, so I perhaps wrongly assumed you were adressing it also to me, although you did say we were acting high and mighty about one joke so putting it out of context is not my fault as you generalised those who were critical ( only 2, including me made a remark ) and accused us of being hypocrite.
About it being a bad joke, I did not find it very amusing, but maybe someone else thought it was hilareous.........

You're preaching to the choir on that one. 👍

I could say something, but that would put me from the frying pan into a 1500*C fire.

You guys are desperate, i make a comment about a dark joke, that really wasn't that funny and you reply with a load of generalisations.

The thought of a cartoon depicting the GTP fans hanging Kaz is, to me, slightly disturbing. I like dark jokes, but that one wasn't soo good.

Keep up the good work TD.

Wasn't funny to you or analog, was funny to TokyoDrift. I'm not saying that joke will appeal to too many tastes but I explained why I said what I said and let's just leave it at that.....

Can anybody here even wait 45 days to e3 without flaming everybody its really childish . Anyway back to topic `my thoughts`,well im betting a new demo smaller than prolouge but showing off all gt5`s features damage etc,i also think they might give us a release date if they do it will most probably be aug-dec .

I rekon it will be revealed its release date, sadly I think we will have to wait till Christmas, or January next year, Sony wont just release it on a nowhere date, they will do it at thanksgiving, xmas, new years, it wont just get released on Wednesday the 1st july 2010 it just wont happen

but what I will say is if Kaz even produces a lackluster effort, or reveals limited already known info, and the whole presentation sucks, the crowd will riot, and start throwing stuff, that I can guarantee

In my home it would be the other way around. My wife hanging there cause she can't take listening to me anymore blablaing about GT5 "SOON" :(

(that was a joke before the flaming)

This coming from somebody who plays games, and hence has probably punched, kicked, stabbed, shot, run over, blown up, and generally killed and injired thousands of people, innocent or otherwise, in games over the years, as well as watched the same in movies and on TV...

Seriously?
I said slightly disturbing. Same as it doesn't matter how many people you have killed online, I'm pretty sure you would find a photo of real killed person disturbing.

I've also seen films where people have been killed my sabotaged brakes or glued down accelerators. May have been entertaining in a film but, if you knew someone who had been hurt in real life, then it could be a little upsetting/disturbing.
