Yes you did read that, I remember it. Can't say where too myself there's been so much going on it's hard to keep up.
Don't you need a special console or something to play these review Copys?
I'm pretty sure you do.

Yes they do. I remember from a Criterion Games podcast a couple years ago that when they sent out a copy of Burnout Paradise to reviewers a little while ago they described the process (not a good sentence). The reviewers were supplied a special review-only PS3 that couldn't play any other games. The review copy of Burnout Paradise could also only be played on these PS3s, and the PS3s could only connect to specific pre-release servers, use both by the producers of the game and reviewers. And then they had to send their copies back after a week so that they could review properly. The other people online could have been other reviewers, but it is also likely that there were also PD members using it testing the next GT build, or their QA department checking for bugs for a day-of-release patch.

I've already pointed this out several times. No-one cares. People are happy to believe what they want to believe, and for a lot of people that means clinging onto hope that features that are clearly not in the game actually are.

You still stand by this view, even though the guy who posted the videos that made people cry about missing features is now saying, himself, that he believes he may not have a full retail version of the game ?

Are you not willing to accept the chance, however small, that what we have seen thus far, may not represent the finished product? After all, we only have a few more days until you can come here with all the amunition you need to rip GT5 apart, because you can't change wheels on standard cars, etc, etc.

yeah man I know...
Have you ever driven the applecross path in scotland in winter?
I am pretty sure there is nothing more difficult :D so that's not the problem.
And I just want to compare the landscape down in the alps with this video

There was a GTTV video on Prologue if you want to \can check it out. Its the making of Eiger.

I guess the version that RDK has isn't the full GOLD copy after all. Should there be a build up of dirt on the side like the mclaren video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ozM0QTK1Vc

He's in arcade mode tho, not sure if that applies to the Arcade cars.

All these videos and pictures are great, I think with what's limited on the size of the disc and the current abilities of consoles, we've got a damn good game, just sayin, and it's as realistic as a console can give, which if you watch that rally video, and the suspension and know you're getting that with massive amounts of cars and tracks and.. no need to really go on, everyone knows what's in GT5. Standards or not, we still have a really good game, I too hope for DLC with standard rim packages and stuff, either way I'm happy with GT5.

And my government leave top secret ministry of defence documents in a pub lol.

Another fishy detail in the leaked version vs. the demo, is that in the new videos all the cars have the same 12k rpm HUD gauge (as far as I can tell), with different redlines obviously but always the same range.

The demo had different gauges for different cars, like we're used to.

The more I think about this, the more I think that this must be some kind of preview copy. In fact, if this turns out to the full retail game, I will be angry. The reason why is that this version appears to be missing features that have been advertised, confirmed by game journalist and also that have appeared in demos. I've given this game a lot of chances and it has managed to disappoint not only myself, but many other people on multiple occasions. I will reserve my final judgment for when the game is actually released, however if this is what they give us, my respect for PD and Kaz(the so-called perfectionist) will be diminished greatly.

Again no dust kicks on the car and no damage what so ever (nor a co-driver for that matter)But it does sound brilliant. So will the final version of GT5 not be a final version :D

naah...its just something about the online, since the other modes have the same message...
well, if this isnt the final version, i hope to have some nice features i havent seen yet

Would you Really have a co driver in what is in essence a rally cross event.
P2P yes.

i think genuinely the only feature kaz had written about and said he wasnt happy with was the standard car issue.

im kind of expecting as this is potentially a preview build that alot of unlocks arent in the game...yet.

fingers well and truly crossed for unlocking tracks etc. throughout gt life. im really excied about b spec too... im assuming this can be used via psp over wifi? or ipod touch?

So your saying we are immagining the 800 cars then?

I have a G25 and its a fantastic wheel.

hhhhhhh...
Not like that
I mean those 800 do not deserve my earned credits during the game.
I will not buy any of them, except when the game force me to do so for certain races required to finish it.
Its just a number.
This PD worked 5 years to make only 220 cars from zero!!

Dude, so you're saying that cars in arcade mode doesn't get dirty? . That's a disaster since people will be taking breaks playing and having fun in the arcarde mode.

I get you now , but you see they also created the GT4 cars from scratch when they were developing GT4 too.

P2P yes.

Good point but I was pointing out what should(could)be there in other words maybe another review copy but who knows No Fan in the world understands this game.

absolutely.. something is really missing here 👍

The manual is intresting...

2. It states the course maker has circuit, & point to point tracks(something that was questioned as missing recently, after seeing new videos of course maker by Tekken90)

this is another good point.. maybe choosing the "theme" you also choose what kind of course you're gonna build up.. this RDK or Tekken could easely check

What we have seen until now, its a big big disappointment for their fans.
Are they smiling while seeing fans running as hungry rabbits on the internet!!!
faking on everything,
release date
sending pics and vids from here and there to fire up our eyes and hearts
& after all that 5 years, they end up with 220 real cars!!!
Is it a very small company, dont know how to manage their work together????
I am realy upset....

Rabbit's?

Seriously?
