Thing i dont like is Premiums costs alot more than standards even if they are nearly identical models...a 20 yr old FC RX7 for 24 grand??? comeon!

The selection of cars from the start is really narrow compared to previous GT's despite getting twice as much money, the price of premiums!

Damn, it sounds nothing like the GranTurismo S.... :(

What about the 8C Competizione?

Don't forget that the video is from a handheld camera and on youtube. Two things that aren't really known for their quality sounds. And, if fact, Youtube tends to have horrid sound.

24K for a 20 year old RX-7 is about right. It would be a rare car in at least the US and UK, and in good condition, 24K isn't that bad. Look at the old Mercs. 156K for older Mercedes. The prices are about right. I suspect the old Mopars will be around 70-80K which is accurate for them. GT has always listed pretty accurate prices. I wonder, with updates available, if they'll adjust prices. :P

mclaren mp4-25 would be better.

P.S. another european car with 'abu dhabi' logo on it... :banghead:

R0M
We often switch to hear the engines.
Usually we use bumper.
In-car view is sometime difficult to drive because of heavy rain/snow or slowdowns /-:

I also noticed there appeared to be a hood cam on several cars, and during races (not just replays). Correct?

Sure, quality of sound can change with poor recordings, but not the actual sound itself. If a car sounds wrong on poor recordings, it'll still sound wrong in person.

A mint condition FC in the US is no where near 24K. You can even get FDs for cheaper than that.

This might sound like a stupid question but .. if you drive into a car at a braking zone .. and the other car is a premium, will that car recieve damage aswell as yours ???

Something to do with DLC maybe

IMO game patch + DLC cars and tracks.

I hope so

Actually when you click a bit further you'll find this....

This time next week, chances are, between us all we might have driven all of the 1000+ cars in Gran Turismo 5. I’d have to be unaware of the Internet to not realise how much you’re looking forward to the latest Real Driving Simulator and, on behalf of everyone at SCEE, I hope you enjoy it. I’ll be doing my best to send your excitement levels into overdrive with some GT5 posts next week, including live coverage from the launch event in Madrid on Wednesday evening. Having seen the itinerary, I’ll just say that it’s not to be missed. I’ll even go as far as to say it’s unmissable.

So it's just another bit of marketing and showing footage of the launch party apparantly, please actually read a bit (and click a bit further into the links when posting them before arriving at wrong conclusions or assumptions) before getting your and other people's hopes up for more content this shortly after release.
If DLC will be added it would be a bit pointless to do it at a time when most players (in fact all players) haven't even driven or owned all of the cars which already are included in GT5.
