Gran Turismo 5 Spec 2 intro

The new intro is more awesome and it shows the new DLC additions to the game, but I loved the old intro song.

I hate Soul on Display (can't remember the stupid childish way it's stylised as) so I deleted the new intro straight after I watched it so the game returned to the original intro. Should have been Moon Over The Castle if they were going to change it.

It's better than the original but I miss that sequence of the LFA in SSR7 tunnel

same here. It's good to see it blowing past all the other supercars. Lol

Main thing I like about it is the factory part is shortened. The original version was waaayyy tooo long.

I'm kind of neutral. I loved the factory intro to the original intro, however the gameplay and song wasn't as good. This time around, the factory intro isn't really as good, while the gameplay part is much better! The song used, editing and cinematography is far superior to the old intro, in my opinion.

I liked the first half of the old intro better though.

Totally agree. I preferred the first half (content and music) from the spec 1 intro. I prefer the second half of the new video, but prefer the old music (MCR).

This trailer would be incredible if we've never heard of the song before. I really like the feel and remix of the song, but when it gets to the normal part we've always heard, it's almost a bit tiresome. However, I think it fits much better than the MCR song.

I haven't seen the Test Track in a long time, but if I'm not mistaken, it's the only track that would have 100-meter, interval markings on the road. That, and the open space environment.

Right now, a lot of people are anticipating on it, but once we get it, we'll probably hear a bunch mentioning boring track this, useless track that, etc. That or, people are excited that it's a hint of a forthcoming DLC after our first one.

If I am going to compare this intro on music of course I will compare it to Moon Over the Castle and not the MCR song that's in the American/European versions of the game. IMO every GT game has to start with Moon Over the Castle...that's how you know it's GT!

However I did originally enjoy listening to this song and the new intro animation is clearly meant as something to go with the new update and not to replace the old one.

I thought from 2:17 to 2:21, was a better look at the track. It had 100-meter interval markings on the road.

Food for though all cars appeared in the video are Premium Except the R8 LMS which is a new Standard which leads me to hopefully believing Standard to Premium to conversion for Post GT4 cars

The new intro is just so much more epic, it has a very Top Gear, dynamic theme to it.
20x better than the original.
