Just getting settled into the hotel in London. I'm having dinner tonight with the other media folks and Sony representatives, so hopefully I will get some info on a specific timeline for tomorrow shortly.

It's happening, guys, it's happening. :D

Excellent find on the GT.com website, too, RoadRunner. 👍

Will you be tweeting much through the day Jordan or will you be updating your progress here on GTP?

It is called MGS V: The Phantom Pain.

"Ground Zeroes" was a part of the marketing strategy to not show the real name of the game.

So it is the same thing but MGS V (5/five/cinco)

Sorry for double post, my signal is messing up.

Training this am, now filming time with @SteveDoherty023 for #GranTurismo Tomorrow is the big day! #15YearsofGT pic.twitter.com/EL2UxWUdDQ

But I thought it took place during peace walker?

You asked the same question twice (looks previous page) and this is not a thread to talk about this.

Yet, what that supposed to have if Ground Zeroes is or is not a different game? Is not even relevant and I am not too much into the story. Kojima himself said that Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain were the same thing to become Metal Gear Solid V.

There you can find your answers and some more cool stuff (minute 0h:07m:00s):

Now let´s get back into topic...the Train is running!!

I will be posting updates to a special "live" blog post on the News page. Keep an eye out for it later.

I wonder if PD is going to do something a little different. Rather than GT6 as the new game, I wonder, as they seem to be pushing this celebration of 15 years of Gran Turismo, if the next game is going to be some special edition capturing all the best bits (cars and tracks) from the previous games with other new bits added.

Just an idea but probably is going to be GT6 :)

Now that you said that...lol...Imagine now if GT6 comes with all the old content from previous games...I mean all old tracks and cars...as they are! with no modification at all just to have that "nostalgia" while playing GT6.

Same amount of premiums as GT5, then 1600 standards and 200 tracks. lol...

Oh , Why am I laughing?...this sounded sad at the same time...

...I like the GT series a lot and also still play GT5. The thing is, that in my experience we wont see something revolutionary. 200 more premiums and 20 more tracks wont help, if they wont update the physics, the career and graphics...
And yet they did, several times throughout the past 31 months for GT5...

So I can see GT6 being a step above what they could do with an already released disc and career structure.

If you run into Jake from Autoweek, tell him Jordan says, "Lucky bastard."

Edit: That's confusing: My name is Jordan.

Have a very great time Jordan, you're so luckly. :)

About that hype train. I want to get on it, wait for meeeeee!!!!! :D

My realistic expectations are:

500-550 premium cars, 80% of them with Racing Modification option

70-90 tracks, between new and classic, most with time/weather change in some form

GT Mode reverted to what it was before (similar to GT4, but integrated with online in some form, like seasonal events integration)

Licenses reverted to what it was before (required) and again, more drama and/or human presence in them (like it was on GT Academy standalone game)

Expanded Course Generator (point-to-point, 15-20 themes, all with time/weather change)

Expanded GT Auto & Tuning, more wheels, more parts

Paint Shop with Livery Editor

Improved Sounds but I'm not too optimistic for that. Any kind of improvements will make me happy.

GT Academy 2013 game featuring GT6 engine and some tracks as showcase.

Anything more than this, is pure bonus for me. One thing is right: after GT5 flaws in the end I love it and play it almost everyday... anything that they improve will make already a lovelly game. :)

I'm to be honest , not expecting anything. Surprise me PD! Great that there are no leaks like with GT5.

Ah yes, it's not like I will be angry if it's not that... just what I expect based on how we know PD (not much, really) :)

But your way, it's a good way.

I expect what I said but all in the same state.
Tracks from all previous GT´s, a well made list of cars in the same state (all same quality forget definitions).
New tracks (Bathurst, Pikes Peak, Silverstone which for me means: 500+hrs of gameplay or more)

Tons of racing modifications to emulate racing leagues from the real world such as FIA GT, Endurance.
Some new licences as the Blancpain Endurance championship (add Dubai Circuit and maybe more there), add some cars from 24hr races like Nürburgring...Nissan Delta Wing, Nissan Sigmatech cars...

Livery Editor finally.

Maybe realistic engine sounds for the love of god and racing nuts!?

Improved physics= hope cars won´t slide and have actual contact with surface.

I don´t want to turn this into a wishlist.../full stop.

The BMW one looks pretty damm amazing actually. That is GT5, right?

I guess so. Looks like GT5, maybe because suspension looks so good in the gif it looks like something else. (A guy at NeoGaf posted those gif, credits for him)

Looks like I'm not the only one F5'ing GTP and NeoGAF

lol ;)

I refuse to get hyped. Although i loved GT5, I let the hype get the best of me. I'm sitting back expecting the worse this time around!
