Gran Turismo 6 coming to PS3

Thanks Famine! Only 7 new tracks! I remember Lucas Ordonez say we'll be "blown away with the amount of tracks in GT6"?
To be fair, only seven new tracks would blow you away

Remember folks: There will be NO concrete information until at least 4pm. There should be NO concrete information until at least 5pm, unless someone stuffs the embargo. Which won't be us.

Even if it's false, any information that is seemingly disappointing, make that your expectation... so that if for whatever reason it does become true, you won't be as let down. And if and when it does turn out false and for the better, then you'll be happy for days.

Well, that's how I'm going to mentally handle everything today.

True, but standards also... If there are 1200 cars, they must be all premium... Imo they couldn't have done just 60 freaking cars up to date.

Equally there's no way they could convert 800 standards into Premiums in three years.

The PS5 would be announced before they finished that....

Besides, the event hasn't started yet...

About half of them are variations of some sort of existing cars, many of them already Premium.
I think it is possible and that is something that has been done if PD had some common sense.

Problem is from the time it takes PD to start work on a car to the time it hits our consoles many cars will be, well out-dated.

Maybe, but what if they can now do a car in 2 months? They said they do a car in 6 months like 4 years ago... I think they have found a more effective way doing cars for GT6...

Really Gt6 may have standard Cars

Really ......

Well i'll be getting off at the next stop .. from the Hype train now ...

Ah, the infamous 6 months per car thing, wasn't it hypothetically 6 months for one person or total hours for each person spent in an entire team?
Considering they don't work on one car for 6 months alone but do whole batches simultaneously that number might be slightly misleading.
And they've hired more staff in recent years so even if that 6 month period in total hours spend is the same, the period a car is finished might be significantly reduced.
