Not as far as I know. Been checking online until I finally came here and asked. Maybe there's a member with connections or inside info. Who knows...
PD and Kaz are very hush-hush about this. Until a douche bag with a smug little face comes over to confirm GT6.... I mean, why???

It's just rumors and a bunch of gossip, for now.
You'd know if it was or wasn't because the forum would blow up with threads called "So now that GT6 is confirmed on X console, blah blah blah...?" or "did PD make the right choice of making GT6 for X console?" and "I'm boycotting GT6 because it's not coming to X console" and such and such...

Mentioning as in talking about GT6 or mentioning as in declining to answer questions about GT6? If it's the first, I'm still waiting for it to happen. Sure, they mentioned that they started working on GT6 as soon as GT5 was done, but that hardly counts as talking about the game. My definition of talking includes more than one sentence
Funny thing is that the Sony VP quote was also just one sentence, same with that Facebook photo leak.
Yeah that's what I mean, when was the last time they simply mentioned the game? Assuming the news stories on the front page are tagged correctly the last time someone from PD (ie Kaz) spoke about the next game generically it was August 2012, more than 6 months ago.

I still stand by the statement that GT5 is a solid racing experience though. Whether or not the AI is bad or not, I adjust my PP/HP level accordingly so that the races become fun and a challenge - the performance difference bonus taught me that.
As for online, I don't go there, 'tis a silly place...

I feel our pain.
I think I'm going to jump sides on Gran Turismo's bot A.I. While I've had some fantastic experiences with them, my bots have been acting increasingly drunk at times, though part of that could be my GT5 install getting a little senile from so many patches and updates.
But assuming this is just their personality, I'm beginning to want the boring polite robot racers of PC sims with just a hint of aggression, over the drunk brake slamming amateurs we have clogging turns in Gran Turismo. Oh, and the uncatchable road rabbits.
And to be sure, GT6 needs to have some much beefier online options to compete with the most basic PC game. I know Polyphony is getting their feet wet with online, better A.I. and damage, but they need to get up to speed or they're going to get some more razzing from fans and journalists both.
But as for the quality of racing in GT5, I just can't get it in other games. I think of GTR and recall the stale last Millennium graphics, and the last Millenium PC gameplay. Live for Speed... just a handful of content, and poor graphics again. Shift... all the complaints. Dirt... Codemaster's poor wheel implementation in the past, plus it's Rally only. And I can't connect with the cars in Forza, as much as I try. My 360 Leet is decorated with dust, cobwebs and dead bugs right now.
I just can't get anything like a Gran Turismo experience anywhere else. And when I want to fire up a video game, it's the only one I play anymore. And I have to get back to it now.
As for which system it's out on, that's most likely going to be decided by the competition. If insider info has it that Forza 5 is going to be released on the next Box, then GT6 will be out on PS4, which is likely. If GT6 is going to require a lot of work to produce a proper Gran Turismo game, Polyphony will either release another Prologue to hold us over on PS4, or a GT5 A-Spec Edition for PS3. While I'd rather see the real deal GT6 on PS4, I'd be happy with either scenario.

Most of my friends gave up on GT with the extended wait of GT5 and GT5 Prologue, so... yeah, no Prologues for me either.

Given that it is simply listed as 2013 I'm pretty sure that list is just compiled from news and rumours, i.e. GT6 is only that last because of what Denny said.

I agree. GT is cool, FM is cool, they're both cool. It's just the fans of both sides that makes them enemies... That's it, bring in pCARS to deal with them both please.
It's like just because Forza 5 is going on the nextbox (kinectbox), GT has to be on PS4 or it'll suck. But to be honest, I'll LOL if Sony was just saying GT6 was going on PS3 and instead goes on both or whatever.
