Well, he did say that they are removing the "standard" tags and "each car will have all the same functionalities"(wipers, high beams) so maybe they spent the past 3 years modeling each and every standard car... with no cockpit view

Yes, he did say that, but he didn't say how much better the cars would exactly look nor showed enough of those type of cars yet.

Is there a list anywhere of cars that will NOT being returning from GT5 in any form? PD lists them all here: http://www.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt6/cars/ but it would be miserable to go through all of it and find any missing ones.

Not yet. I think there's really just about every car from GT5 going to be in GT6 with the exception of the stealths and chromelines.

The Tesla Model S and Deltawing aren't even on that list and they were revealed at E3, before your list was published. So no, they aren't counting the Premium Cizeta V16T in that list.

Your wording is a unclear, but I see what you're saying. The Deltawing and Model S WOULD be on the new 200 list because they weren't in GT5, obviously. The Cizeta is being counted as one of the new 200 cars in your list (because premium) AND it's being counted as a returning car (as a standard). PD is literally bringing in a high-polygon copy of a car we already have, counting it as a separate car, but they also don't want to make a difference between premium and standard. It's contradicting in a sense.

I'm sure this was noted before (Although I didn't notice it), but according to these images, Autumn Ring will have weather and time progression.

First Apricot Hill, now Autumn Ring. Really hope they gave dynamic time & weather to other classics like Grand Valley and Deep Forest. I've always thought it'd be neat to run those tracks at night, or in the rain, or both.

I can't believe Autumn Ring and Apricot Hill have time change now. I hope Deep Forest and High Speed Ring get it too, there was a demo of GT1 I saw with high speed ring taking place in the sunset and it looked awesome. I also miss seeing Deep Forest at dusk.

Daytona and Spa will have time change as well now.

Also the OP mentions a car from Toyota Team Europe. Is that supposed to be the Toyota TS030?

I think a real game changer would be seeing a night track turn day (ex: SSR5) just because we haven't seen that possibility yet.

Well there's a glitch that makes it look like very early morning and it looks spectacular so I hope for this too.

Hope it is! R18 is in so why not?

Traditionally yet theoretically, modern LMP Prototypes (and Group C Prototypes for that matter) are included in GT for one of three reasons:

1. They participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in '98/'99. (GT-One, V12 LMR, R390, Esperente GTR-1, CLK-LM)
2. They were sponsored by Sony/Playstation/Gran Turismo (R8 '05, All of the Pescarolo Sport Cars, 908 HDi FAP '10 [Technically, the '09 was the one that won])
3. They won Le Mans overall. (Audi R10, Audi R18, Bentley Speed 8, Audi R8, Mazda 787B, Jaguar XJR-9, Peugeot 905, Mercedes Sauber C9)

I'm not saying this rules out any chance of the Toyota being included (There are one or two exceptions, with the Oreca Peugeot coming to mind), but it seems that unless it meets one of those criteria, it most likely won't be included.

I want PD to prove me wrong, of course.

Ah, sorry, I meant GTE (Which is still in the works).
The program was cancelled before it even became public knowledge. I believe one of the prototypes was converted into a Nurb racer. It's dead.

There are rumours of a RC-F GT3 program being in the works, but I'm not sure if that's supposed to be run by TMG or TMC.

Anyway, TMG produces two cars at the moment: the TS030 and the 86 CS-V3. If the TRD 86 Racing is going to be in the game, including the TMG 86 CS-V3 wuld be kind of redundant, so my guess is the TMG car in question would be the TS030. If that rumour has any merit.

Edit: Completely slipped my mind, but there's also the TMG EV P002, that all-electric Radical that got some press for a quick lap on the ring a while back, and the rallying Yaris.

Nissan R89C Race Car '89, Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 and Toyota Minolta don't fit on your rules.

I think so dumb put R18 ultra, and forget all about the newest e-tron. And the Toyota for that matter. I mean, come on, the game will be released in 2013! Give us all recent LMP1s, PD.

*R18 TDI

After racing at Le Mans the cars have been paraded at motor shows all over the world. Must be a logistical nightmare trying to get some "alone-time" with the cars for modelling, which itself takes long enough...

Also the Jaguar XJ13 Race Car and if my memory serves me correctly the Ferrari 330 P4.

Fair enough. Although I think pretty much impossible that Audi doesn't have any spare model, even a 2012 chassis, perhaps. Forza 5 will get the R18 Ultra :grumpy:: http://uk.gamespot.com/forza-motorsport-5/images/1813735/

And, ok, in FM5 case It's just a render, not a fully made car.

LOL, I keep confusing all those names: R18, TDI, e-tron quatrro and Ultra

Do you guys have a count of how many premium cars are left to be included in the game.
I understand we already have 200 premiums from GT5, and are expecting another 200 for GT6, but with all the new premiums revealed, how many are left over now?

About 150 in my opinion. Maybe a few more or less.
