Nissan R89C Race Car '89, Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 and Toyota Minolta don't fit on your rules.

Fair point, I did say there were exceptions, and these cars may be proof that PD is willing to break it's normal habits to model prototypes if they're Japanese Branded vehicles.

Also the Jaguar XJ13 Race Car and if my memory serves me correctly the Ferrari 330 P4.

The XJ13 never raced and was included along side the P4 (one of Kaz's favorite cars) and the GT40 Mk.IV as a recreation of a race that never happened since the Jag never participated. I did mention that the theory of Prototype inclusion mostly applies to modern LMP, Group C and GT1/GTP cars, since the older cars tend to get included more on heritage and history, or in the case of the Nissan's and Toyota, nationality.

Brands Hatch will have time change and/or weather ?

Doesn't seem like it. I'm also wondering if it has multiple layouts or not.

Don't think they ever run night races there anyway, so it doesn't seem like a big deal.

We don't know. Probably weather, probably not time change.

I'm 99% sure it'll have both layouts. It would be absolutely puzzling if it didn't. It would be like Suzuka without Suzuka East or Nurb GT without the DTM short course.

I hope PD make better use of day/night and weather options in GT mode this time. It was disappointing the lack of variety used in the actual career mode as most tracks were raced in the dry :(

Also, it would be nice if the weather was determined by chance when entering the race this time. I think it makes for a more immersive experience personally.

Does anyone know if PD intend to use grid starts or bring back qualifying options when entering races?

Well I hope they use all the stuff for once. I mean how many rainy races we got in A-spec (not counting the endurance races), one? Feature well used...

When is Porsche going to be included?

If it doesn't say on the list in the first post of this thread, and if there isn't a sudden article on the news page or anything on the official Gran Turismo website, then no, they aren't in GT6 - yet.

Porsche will only appear when EA drops their "exclusive" licence with Porsche to have their cars exclusively in their games. Of course there was the Porsche DLC pack in Forza 4 but I'm not certain on the details with that one.

I am adding a car that Yamauchi himself mentioned but was never spoken of again. On a Tweet dated 24 Jun 2010, he made this post on his twitter: フェラーリ365GTB/4デイトナのデザインは、たった10週間で全部をやったそうです。すごいですよね。R T @stratosbaka: @440mashiro @Kaz_Yamauchi フィオラヴァンティー来ていたのですか。。。

It mentions the 365GTB/4 Daytona being modelled in only 10 weeks. I know it was somewhat difficult for cars to be added as DLC in GT5's architecture so maybe it sat on servers like the Shelby Cobra Daytona did (that car was modeled around the same time as the 2010 NASCARs, watch the NASCAR special on Gran Turismo TV and you will spot the exact Shelby Daytona used). I would not be surprised if this car finally appeared in GT6.

The tweet in question was mentioned here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=128579&page=26 as well. I am going to be busy digging through what I can on twitter as of now.

Funnily enough, I see a Tweet dated at 25 Jul 2010 about the Alpine A110 being "finished" and Alpine has a massive following in Japan's classic car world. It seems a fair amount of GT6 premium models were in existence already.

Did some more digging. All of the tweets around this time period are all around the time of the 2010 Tokyo Concours D'Elegance (which oddly enough faded from existence afterwards). http://www.concours.jp/

Notice a hard to find car that was also in attendance. The Ferrari SP1, GTPlanet's least favorite Ferrari, but an important model nonetheless.

They run the Britcar race into the Night, even though it's only 6 hours IIRC, and it would be a real shame if they didn't. Since it's been the last race on the BTCC calender recently, the sun is normally setting during race three, and if the weather is good the atmosphere it creates is amazing.

The alpine A110 was in GT5 but the year was '73, and in GT6 the year is '68

So does this mean that the cars they upgraded to premium, they are not counting them as new?
I am very confused??????

They probably are as it's PD being Mr. Shortcut taking as usual. Although, that is probably a mistake they made, because the Alpine A110 1600 S they're mentioning wasn't made until 1970.

Apparently Mount Panorama Circuit should be real fun to drive. The layout is great & a welcome addition the game.

I'm interested to see what they have in stock for TGS. It would be nice to get a "confirmed" car list as to what's premium and "standard" for GT6. I wonder if Gran Turismo 5 standards will be updated to GT5 spec premiums and classified as "standard" cars for Gran Turismo 6.
