i hope Barthust to be in the release version and Seattle, Midfield, El Captain and more as DLC then.

Yeah, I hope that Bathurst gets included in the release version as well and those 3 tracks come as first track DLC pack :)

I'm both semi-disappointed, and vaguely hoping for a DLC pack, or ten, to fill in some of the obvious cars they've missed, its not too bad, I found 21 cars I genuinely want to drive in the game.

Acura NSX Concept (NA3) 2012
BMW M5 (F10) (was present at the Silverstone GT6 reveal)
BMW Z8 E52 2001
Audi TT RS typ 8J (was present at the Silverstone GT6 reveal)
Ferrari Dino 246 GT 1971
Fisker Karma EcoSport 2012
Ford Focus ST Mk. III 2013

from the website i would say we've 6 from 7 new tracks now. 1 still missing!

This is an interesting point you bring up, because it means we're four over what they said we would be getting...

GT6 Reveal Announcement

...taking the total to 33, with 71 different layouts available...

Confusingly, the website currently lists 36...

GT6 Tracks

But the mystery is solved when you add in this last un-revealed track, which takes the total to 37. Subtracting 4 brings you to 33. Why 4? The DLC tracks, of course, must not have been counted when they put together the release numbers. I wonder if they thought that they could get away with not including them?

Oh well, Seattle is most likely the front runner for being that final track... El Capitan being in second (Both having been featured in previous GT5/GT6/etc trailers). I would peg Bathurst as being DLC since that is a track that would sell well by itself, but since we haven't seen it digitally yet, we don't even know if it's done!

In my view, Seattle is more likely to be in the final version than Barthust.

The ideal is to have both :) But it seems unlikely :indiff:

This is really wierd, I was checking the cars that they claimed that were returning from GT5 and the Corvette C7 Test Prototype '12 is still there. Why would it still be in game when we are going to get the production car in GT6?

They always do that. There are often minor to major differences between concept and production aaand, it boosts the car count. If it boosts the car count PD will do it.

There are also there the GT-R Proto '01, GT-R Black Mask, etc...

Spend a lot of time modelling a car only to have it used as free DLC half-way through a game's life and never use it again when it's a perfectly fine (and very unique) car? Why wouldn't they do it?

At least they had the sense to dump the Final Prototype since the actual production car that's completely identical will be in the game.

I really really hope they bring back old tracks like Midfield, Seattle and Apricot Hill. Motorland and the open Test Drive Area couldn't hurt either (since it takes no effort to develop). Maybe the Test Track from GT3.

And if they could do a Grindelwald DLC, I'd give them all my money :)

Apricot Hill is already in; it was shown at Gamescom. Seattle has also been seen in previous videos and may be confirmed at TGS.

there could be a chance that those tracks will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show. I mean, Silverstone was shown at GT6's first appearance. Matterhorn & Willow Springs followed at E3. Goodwood got comfirmed at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Apricot Hill & Brands Hatch were comfirmed recently at gamescom. PD has been basically comfirming tracks at about each event they attended.

Also, weren't 2-3 of the tracks I've mentioned rumored originally to be in GT6 before being comfirmed?

It'd be good to get a few more tracks, like Seattle (maybe a few more original/street tracks from GT4) and Bathurst, though I'm not counting on it, since there are already exactly 33 locations (counting SSR5/7/X as one location, as well as Eiger Road/Rally as one location).

Ahh, there is another analysis that I forget to show. Maybe its relevant...

If you look at GT5 circuit list, non-rally tracks only, you will see that about 45,8% of the circuits are real and 54,2% are original tracks. From city tracks, 29% are city tracks.

Supposing they are going to keep the proportions, considering that 4 of the 6 tracks are real tracks, and that no city circuit were announced, we can say that the next circuit will be original and a city circuit. Seattle exactly matches these characteristics. I think Seattle will be released first, and Barthurst comes as DLC later.

MGTurismo
I hope the 7th track is Bathurst, I reckon it would really round off the new track list. :D

Yeah, especially now that Forza 5 gonna have Bathurst as well. I wonder if Turn 10 is going to have Bathurst on the disc. If so, PD gotta do the same thing.

I'd rather Bathurst over Seattle, but I definitely do miss Seattle and would enjoy its return. But for me the priority is real world tracks and Bathurst would be perfect alongside Silverstone and Brands Hatch. Willow Springs seems like a strange choice but I don't mind it.

Next track I'd like to see the most would probably be Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, then maybe the Hungaroring or Sepang. Hockenheim would be fine as well -- even better would be the old Hockenheimring, but that would be too perfect.

So, the current confirmed track-list seems to leave room for one more track and 7 more variations, taking into account what they allegedly said last night in the playstation press conference. (37 tracks and 76 variations - they seem to finally have revised their count to include GT5-DLC)

By my count, we're at 36/69. (the 69 is not counting separate weather or reverse tracks - if you count those you're over 76 already)

So, will it be Bathurst + variations of other tracks, or just ... Ronda (maybe with pre-defined variations)...?

Based on the SCEJA Conference trailer, Lexus is now in Vision GT so one more concept car! And there are 3 other new brands but I don't know what they are...

Id take Seattle over Bathurst anyday because its beautiful and blessed with gracious bends and jumps

"Gracious bends and jumps"...? At Seattle?? The jumps are pretty annoying, because every real car would instantly be heavily damaged, and lots of the corners are 90°. If you think that's better than Bathurst, I must assume you obviously don't know the track. Now there you've got some gracious bends...
