I don't quite know what it has to do with this thread, but GT7 offered (before launch) exactly the same as GT Sport - regular, scheduled competitive races, an esports series, completely customisable lobbies - and added "meeting places". It was GT Sport's multiplayer again, but with new features, hence the score.
And then, after the reviews came out, the lobbies weren't hot-swappable like GT Sport and, for some reason and despite being perfectly fine in Sport on the same servers, public races were groaning with lag all over the place.
Just like the addition of incredibly expensive microtransactions right at the moment of launch, March 4's v1.05 (and on) was not the same game we played for the review at v1.02-v1.04.
If there's someone you need to know not to trust, it's not us or anyone else who objectively reviewed v1.02-v1.04. But that's up to you.
Firstly, no we're not. Our reviews are as objective as possible. Secondly... why would you imagine that? What's the connection?
If I added up all the posts that said we're biased towards GT (and those saying we shouldn't have negative opinions about GT because we're supposed to be biased towards GT) and subtracted all the posts that say GTP is biased against GT, I'd end up with zero. Or close to it.
