Still no dedicated events for this specific class of cars, and I doubt there will be any this time around. I know they had a menu in the GT café (which was just collecting the 2016 Super GT cars, IIRC), and that's all they ever did until today to acknowledge the existence of these cars in the game.

I'm thrilled they put the blobeye in the game but slightly bummed it's the "updated" 2004 (USA model year 2005) version with the wider rear arches rather than the 2003 (2004 USA model) version, meaning it also has the uglier (in my opinion) interior.

They don't show the interior in the trailer, but considering you can see the arches over the rear wheels, it has to have the updated interior.

PD has gotten real good at adding content that makes you spend credits, but does next to nothing for new and exciting ways to earn credits.

Eh, I guess beggars can't be choosers lol Sure, I'd probably also wish it was the USDM EJ25 engine, for the sake of personal accuracy, but I guess everyone seems to like the 2.0L engine more. Plus I can hopefully bump up the displacement in game but then the rev limit won't be correct etc etc

Never paid much attention to the right/left side wheel situation. Just like in real life, every person asks or thinks its hard to drive on the right side but it's become somewhat normal for me. I don't think about it.

I'm glad GT7 condenses different race car team liveries to the colour slot; I can only imagine the uproar if we were still in the GT6 car count system and that Lexus (or the 86/GR010 last month) counted as a new car...
