Gran Turismo 7 and GT Sport User Interface Fan Art

I already planned the main menu UI layout in my head but i don't know how to actually make it because it looks like i made it using Paint even thought i'm making it with Gimp...

Any Tips?

- Make it 1920x1080 (16:9 aspect ratio).
- Avoid stretching/distortion of images.
- Make sure text is readable. (Not too small, good contrast between words and background, etc.)
- Use alpha layers when dealing with transparency.
- Use Comic Sans.
- The above tip is a lie, don't use it.

Here it is. My first "proper" Gran Turismo Sport UI design. Hope you'll like it! :)

Very nice Nico. One change I would suggest is have it clear to see which section is highlighted. I cannot see this in your image.

The GT Sport palette lends itself well to a contemporary UI. I will be getting back to it on Thursday after quite a while off. Have plans in my mind for a few pieces. Looking forward to it actually!

True, it'd be better. I'll see what I can do!

I generally like it, the only thing I would say is if possible try to use images which are more relevant to the sections they're portraying. This is important as humans are visual creatures, we tend to look at the images before the text so it'll be easier to remember which is which if the image fits the mode. Splitscreen works because it shows only two cars racing, the others you could maybe work on although It admittedly may be hard to get an image that portrays the others strongly.

Yes indeed, very true. It would definitely be better, but yeah, as you already stated - it'll be probably quite hard to find suiting images.

So I made this video of GT Sport booting up.. Let me start by saying.. It isn't finished!
But give me your feedback :)

It's a great video overall. The music is well chosen, and I really admire when they show the racing history, starting with the 1940's race cars. However, I do think you've shown way too much VGT's, and not enough sports cars, and hot hatches. But keep up the good work.

I know, and as I said it is a WIP, I kinda wanted to stick with as much "GTS" content as I could. That's why there are no other content than the VGTs. But when I go back and work more on it I will add more from GT6. :) thanks for your feedback though :)

The video has a misleading title. Some may believe it is a genuine promotional or leaked video rather than fanwork.
That was my intention, to attract more views. When the final video gets uploaded I will delete this video and use a proper title. :)

Check the AUP:

You will not knowingly post any material that is false, misleading, or inaccurate.

I know technically you posted it to YouTube, but as it's your content you have posted to GTPlanet you may be violating it.

Also, posting a video with a misleading title in the aim of attracting more views will not make you popular with people outside of this thread who won't initially realise that the video is fanwork.

I don't think it is an AUP issue, in the same way a sweary video on YouTube can be linked as long as you mention it being NSFW but that's for a mod to decide.

As you said, the main problem with the title is that it's Clickbait. For the sake of @syntex123's channel I wouldn't go down the Clickbait route, as he is saying he is, because people hate clickbait and that will overshadow the amount of effort put into the video.
