Sport mode and online in PS4 is completely broken. I'll start with my bugs:

-In daily races the race usually doesn't start and it gets stuck in black screen.

- In Daytona Race C it's a bug that if you go go out in turn 1, even without hitting the wall, you get 43.5 seconds penalty (not joking hahahaha)

- Frame drop in the game, but I understand that it's PS4

- In lobbies and meeting place when a user enter or leave the lobby the game gets frozen, or it gets a massive lag (talking in second of lag)



I understand that it's a just released game and in PS4, but these errors should gets fixed soon, PS4 deserves also a playable game.

Just had the black screen happen to me on my first online race. Oh well. Considering I can’t even play the ps5 version, the ps4 version is actually quite good.

I also had the "stuck in black screen" yesterday in Race C.

And for my bug- The game would crash once the warm-up session end while being on the track. This happened to me couple of times already, and other players are having it too. This is in Sport mode on PS4.

I'm stuck on menu 25. Every time I complete the 3rd race of the European Championship the game errors, when I log back in it has saved my progress up to the 3rd race but errors again when I complete the race. I have tried this 5 times now, even quit the championship and used a different car but still the same error.
On PS5. Currently reinstalling to see if that helps.

Additionally my set up sheets on the S13 don't save correctly, which coincidentally is the same car that the weight reductions did not equip on before the last update.

And also it would be nice if the gearbox setup was in mph since my speedo is in mph.

Small annoyance but recently only "Chariots of Fire" seems to play on the main map screen, it's a bit annoying.

For the last 2 days the same track plays over and over on the world screen - I think it's Chariots of Fire. I cannot find any way to stop it (and boy that's a pretty annoying tune after the tenth hearing! 🤣 )

YES!! Thank you!! Me too. It's been 5 days, nothing but that song. I asked on a different forum and I think people thought I was crazy. I mean Chariots of Fire is a fine tune, but not for days straight.

It did this for me but only between starting menu 39, and finishing it. I think it's deliberate to amp you up for the championship but it meant I was going mad trying to do anything else in the meantime.

You're absolutely right, when I completed that menu it has reverted to normal. Didn't amp me up lets say that!

I have been playing GT7 on my PS5. I play on my living room. Last weekend I was ill and had to spend the weekend in bed. I have my PS4 in my bedroom so I decided to play GT7 on PS4 and check if my progression was shared between both versions. As I faces a few trophies Popper, and I dos some races to pop some other trophies.
I already did all Café menus in my PS4, there's no way to repeat the menus, so I can't get those 3 trophies from Café menus.

Missing elements or layer order is messed up.

Skeletor_13, that happens when the creator of the livery deletes the decals he used for it. GTauto loads the livery new everytime you enter it (as opposed to GTS) and if decals are no longer on PDs server they disappear from your car.
I can see this become a massive issue in the future if people decide to wipe their libraries of shared decals.
If it's an unlocked livery you can at least attempt to fix it, but if some custom made decals were used for the cars you're essentially screwed.

Oh poop. That's a terrible implementation.
Hopefully they fix this say by caching the entire livery.

I wonder how that affected the McRae focus livery with the lines/stripes??

And the "555" is seemingly stamped on the fender.

It looks to me more like a layer order thing, but you could be correct.

I had that exact same livery opened in the editor to check out what was going on. Basically all Martini related stripe decals are just gone from it.

Ha! In that case, they REALLY need to fix this. Essentially makes the Showcase/Styles redundant.

I have the thrustmaster t80 and for some reason it stopped working with the ps5 version of gt7 does anyone know why? When i first got the game the steering wheel worked fine but now it doesnt work can anyone help me?

Trophy related bug.

Right now, when you obtain some trophy on PS5 or PS4, you have to repeat the task on second platform to get it (example: you complete all licences on gold on PS5, so on PS4 you have to finish just one license to get that trophy, same with distance or buying a cars). It's like semi-pop.

Problem is with "story" trophies, like finishing Cafe Menu or reaching Finale credits. If you do it on PS5 or PS4, you can't obtain those trophies on second platform in any way possible, because your save file is stored on servers and game thinks you already did it (but doesn't give you the trophy for it). Even replaying whole championship or spending some time in Cafe Menu, it does nothing. So I assume this is a little oversight from Polyphony and I hope they will fix it somehow.

At least for liveries of random people, yes. It's even worse when they're locked from editing so you can't even attempt to fix them up.
Just keep an eye out on the livery forum here, I think most of the more active creators there are aware of the issue and thus won't delete decals even tho they only needed them for one livery. And if there's an issue you can easily reach out and ask for fixing

Like Photoshop, they should add a "flatten design" option so this issue is irrelevant.

Or just make it like in GTS where once the livery was saved on your car it was attached it to no matter what happened to the original design. I have a Pescarolo RCZ in GTS where the livery disappeared from my collection at least two years ago and my own car is still sporting it in full glory.

Sounds like me and you have the same issues. except mine isn't crashing the game is running perfectly otherwise.

It never happened to me, but I think reinstalling the game would not solve anything, you just have to wait for it to be fixed with a patch, otherwise try starting a new game on another account and see if the dealer works

I am currently in the process of re-installing the game. will let you know of any updates or if it fixes it.

It's been that way since the GTS Demo : / Lame-sauce. if you do the full bumper-cam, looking left/right works. Just not the hood cam.

GT7 crashed after I completed the IB licences. Now it is unplayable, crashes if I go to licences or missions or at the end of any race.
Guess I'll try deleting and reinstalling. Hoping my game save isn't nerfed and have to start from scratch!
Anyone else had this issue?

I'm sure a lot has been covered regarding online lobbies but I want to reiterate a few I was just experiencing.

Error code 700181, wasn't able to join any lobby. Eventually joined one, but soon after the host quit and shut the entire lobby down.

No Display Setting while driving in Lobbies, and also makes the error selection noise when resuming driving from the menu.

No way to report a player or kick in Lobbies.

Watching replays, while switching cars to view, cars will flicker. The frame rate will slow slightly and then the replay stops, sending me a (CE-34878-0) error.
