I could sure use an eternal drive.
Sorry, couldn't resist.
Great news! I order than an external case and put it into. Thanks! You may have better results using your SSDs as eternal drives and installing the games there. Works for me.
Must be USB 3 if I recall correctly.Great news! I order than an external case and put it into. Thanks!
Brilliant idea. I tried this today - well, yesterday, using the Tomahawk method and managed to eek out a much lower PP value which gave me some headroom to play with. And I got the car to within 6 or 8hp of top power at something like 590PP. However, when I backed out to my garage view, I saw that the PP value had jumped back up to around 660. Gah. Half an hour later, I just managed to tweak it to 221hp at 587PP, which was just one step up from where it was. I tried to race anyhow, and was perpetually in last place at the end of a lap, so I raced it with the RE Amemiya RX-7 again, and made 6th place just a bit ago.I have seen PP being reduced by reducing the gearing
SLR McLaren can win it without adding anything, literally bog standard. The countach needs a fair bit as does the Berlinetta but the AI changes depending on your tune I've noticed. The countach up to 600pp you need to add a fair bit, and the NSX stays out til lap 7/8 where as with the standard SLR he comes in on 5/6. Very strange and I only noticed it going from one to the other.I know there are a lot of PP glitches in the game, but this bug really... well, bugs me.
This hit me with the Red Bull Jr at the worst possible point. Trying to tune the beastie a few days ago for the Tokyo 600 wet event, around the 215 - 220hp mark and 580-ish PP, changing just about any parameter causes the PP meter to jump about 70 points. Super annoying if you're trying for that magic 599.xx value. And it's the only car I have with a chance in heck of beating the race without throwing the Tomahawk at it.

Someone suggested the Pagani Huayra and if that doesn't work, I'm not touching that damned race again with a ten foot USB cable.
I know this happens with a lot of cars in awkward moments, but when it hurts, I have to squeal a little. I'm hoping that with the PP system overhaul they're supposedly working on, issues like this become rare.
Such an easy thing to fix, but nah let's leave it broken.Sorting by Date Acquired doesn't display cars in the proper order of acquisition
I'm the same. Replay photo mode is totally broken for meHere we go again.

Sounds like you somehow jumped a checkpoint in a lap, in order to be able to pit you need to drive two complete laps to hit the checkpoint you missed. You then need to also complete that lap on track (aka not in the pits) because what actually happens is that you aren't sent forward to the pit exit/straight but rather a whole lap back. I can't really explain it with words somehow, sorry. But...[...]
I cant have missed one though, never left the track at any point. I also tried to complete laps afterwards with it still not scoring me, beyond that I'd have run out of fuel anyway so I quit. Re-ran the race and it was fine. If the whole thing is that you've somehow missed a checkpoint around a lap then it should tell you, otherwise to me it's just completely broken. Even if it did say it put me miles back from where I was for no reason.Sounds like you somehow jumped a checkpoint in a lap, in order to be able to pit you need to drive two complete laps to hit the checkpoint you missed. ...tl;dr: if you're reset from the pits back on track complete the lap correctly and not drive into the pits again instantly.
Hmm maybe it's different from what happened to me once then? I can only recall that somehow I got reset back to the start of the lap upon pitting, it happened again the next lap and it would only let me pit once I did another two laps with entering the pits after the second one. I was kinda bummed when it happened as I didn't leave the track either and was in a comfortable lead. This was in GTS and online tho.[...]
Yes , this is absolutely annoying!!!!Such an easy thing to fix, but nah let's leave it broken.
Which car(s) do you hear the blowoff valves from? My R32 and R33 are both silent in the bov department. Spooling and engine sounds I can hear but zero bov. Both with mid range or high rpm turbo.Which camera are you using? I can hear them very well with roof cam, in fact, I find them a tad irritating (a bit like a bird).
