I ran a few 10-lappers at The Glen with the Trans Am grid. Feeling cocky, I upped the opponent‘s difficulty to Intermediate. I then got my ass handed to me. Twice.

I favor the bonnet view. However, not having a rear-view mirror made that view unusable with the aggressive field around me. I couldn’t tell where they were at. I got bumped off and turned around numerous times. And that was in bumper view, too. 🙂That rear view mirror is a necessity for me.

I have no idea how you guys do it on the Professional setting. Kudos to you all.

I'm more comfortable in Intermediate myself.
I also go for intermediate...

There also seemed to be some sort of update with the AI...in my grid with the Golf Mk1s I used to have chances to win on professional when i started from last position...after a longer break I used that grid again(there was at least one update in between since i last used that grid), and now they kick my ass on professional and it is still hard to win on intermediate.Either there was a change with the AI or may driving got significantly worse(which it didn't when I look at my lap times...)

I made a simple custom race with my mid pp range garage cars. I made the grid with lowest pp up front and highest at the back and me last with really low pp. It was at the Nurburgring and it was 4 laps with one stop. It was actually not a bad race because of my underpowered car. I had to try all the way to the end which was satisfying but I was coming up on first place and he put his blinker on and moved over for me even though he was way quicker... oh well.

I know that BOP is broken, but....
I'd like to use this custom race to get ready for the daily races.
I cannot abilitate BOP, don't understand what I'm doing wrong

What car category are you trying to set?
Usually I go for GR3 or GR4, depending on the Daily I target
This week I may try to simulate Race B

  • Track: Kyoto Driving Park – Yamagiwa+Miyabi Reverse, 3 laps
  • Car: Gr.4 – Garage/Rental Car
  • Power/Weight/PP Limit: BOP (M)
  • Tires: Racing Hard, Racing Inter/Wet
  • Settings: Fixed
  • Start Type: Rolling Start
  • Fuel use: 1x
  • Tire use: 1x

In the first set of settings, the one with tyre wear, etc, there’s an option to set BoP on. I think that for some single make races this may be greyed out. Do you see the option greyed out for Gr4?

I may be doing something wrong, but, yes, I see it grayed out

I bought four more '69 Corvette convertibles, tuned 3 and kept one stock for an engine swap. Fully tuned, these will hit 200 mph at LeMans on FM6.

@SPURS3420

Super GT grid is indeed very expesive, but also very worth in my opinion

A nice thing about the 2008 series is that we can use the cars for the 2009 season with the DBR9 included!

There's 4 spots left for both 2008 and 2016 seasons so I'm thinking in adding GT300 cars in those spots. For the 97-99 I'm leaving 10 spots where I'll probably use 5 Silvias and 5 tuned Imprezas/Porsches

Yeah, I was tempted with both cars in the LCD, but knew I wouldn't be using them. I did sell my GT500 R34. Can't sell the Castrol Supra, as that's from the 25th Ann package. Love the series, but miss having all the cars in the dealership.

The 90s JTCC are helping me a bit, but I still have the itch for Super Touring. At least, until the 190E(pleas, Lord) arrives. Looking at these GR.4 four-door sedans gathering dust. Three different livery Atenzas, three livery Evos, STI and G70. Hellcat and Crown will do fine. GTAm was made for this. :)

I feel like im a bit late to this thread but ive also been doing some custom race work. Has anyone else done Super Taikyu yet?
It does make me feel better about making liveries and not driving them much.

The grid is very mixed so you dont battle many cars at once, but at least there is a lot of variety. Also a lot cheaper than Super GT.

Nice editing. At the start of GT7, I’ve only done current S-Tai with its eight classes. Haven’t tackled classic N1, etc. Definitely a favourite series. I agree about the value of a grid. 👍 I used the kei cars as Super GT. Good way to keep costs down. ;)

Created this custom race grid with all the amazing liveries from the community. Alfas are simply power restricted to 415hp. BMWs are wide-bodied with a rear wing and front downforce added. No brakes or turbos or other parts have been added.
