If it's a custom championship, and so you choose all the cars in the race... Then it also depends on their liveries. If you choose "Road to Le Mans" liveries for all cars, then you should choose the WRT "Road to Le Mans" livery; if you choose GTWC liveries for all cars, then you should choose the WRT #46 GTWC livery. Simple.Hey Guys
I have a dilemma
I am making the livery for my M6 GT3 for one of my Custom championship and I want to do a livery based from the one used by Valentino Rossi
But I don't know if I have to do the GTWC livery or the Road Le Mans livery
Thanks
That's exactly what I did with the Garage59 Livery. There is just one available to download: the gulf one with no 159 (K. Kjaergaard and M. Kirchhöfer), I replaced the Rogfo Logos with Vodafone and added some other logos to match the real one and the number to 188, for H. Chaves/Ramos car liveryP.s.: better if you find modifiable liveries, so if necessary you can also make small corrections (but obviously and rightly you will NOT be able to share them).
#25 Audi R8 LMS is Sainteloc Racing, not Scherer Sport PHX. Scherer Sport PHX made only one appearance this year, running #17 (IIRC) Audi R8 LMS in the Crowdstrike 24H of Spa. Anyway wonderful grid!Scherer Sport PHX Audi
N. Thiim (No. 25) / Audi R8 LMS Evo GT3
I got the no 17 just did a mistake by copy paste. As I got more than 20 cars for more diversity every season. Got another Rowe (#998), Tresor Attempto, Sainteloc, Emil Frey Racing and JP Motorsport and so on. If the cars stays old for six years now, j switch the teams to have a little bit of variety#25 Audi R8 LMS is Sainteloc Racing, not Scherer Sport PHX. For more variety, I have two Ferrari F8 Tributo tuned as 296 GT3, well enough to be competitive, an Aston Martin for Bullitt Racing (with front design resembling that of the actual Vantage GT3, as much as possible... also not V8 turbo but V12 NA though)... And I'm even tempted to add a Genesis X GT3 as a CMR Bentley (but they're not racing this year, so probably I won't).
Very good idea. It's kind of what I did, I too have the #998 Rowe BMW (modified by me, originally it was the #31 Walkenhorst), the #54 Dinamic Motorsport Porsche, the #14 and #69 Emil Frey Ferrari (unfortunately on the 458 GT3... no one created these liveries on the F8 Tributo), the #9 and #10 Boutsen VDS Audi, the #11 ComToYou Audi... So I've chosen to do the RTLM livery because the championship that I'm making is an immagination of what the WEC could look like in the next yearsIf it's a custom championship, and so you choose all the cars in the race... For example, I'm running a sort of championship (only BoP tests for the moment) based on GTWC, and I have GTWC liveries for the whole grid. It takes a while to find them all but it's worth it.
P.s.: better if you find modifiable liveries, so if necessary you can also make small corrections (but obviously and rightly you will NOT be able to share them).
Which type of website are you using for your standings?I made myself a very own GTWC league, with every single car chosen from the garage.
The settings are like 5 time for tyres and fuel consumption, a time limit for sprint (15 mins) or endurance (one hour or 30 mins) and a starting lineup taken from the real GTWC. Every car has to be a different one if you want to drive against all the real drivers and teams, so I went with this starting lineup, all 2023 season liveries downloaded:

All teams and driver names taken by the real FIA GTWC 2023 Season. My son plays that only as like I mentioned. (picture is the No. 87 Akkodis ASP Mercedes, my son's using that one)
The championship standing I'll do in excel for him.
(By the way: Marciello, overall leader in real world is from Switzerland, heck there is no Switzerland to choose in GT7... Another joke by PD. Also Jordan Pepper is from South Africa, same like the Van der Linde Brothers. Hasbro choose different countries for them in-game)
Yeah I have two Dinamic GT Porsche too, just went on to rather let the more successful Pure and Herberth compete as they are German teams having success, Dinamic is an Italian Team doing a difficult year. And they are too similar colors to Iron Lynx Lamborghini. That's the only reason my Dinamic GT Porsche isn't competing too often.Very good idea. Another shame not being able to have more than 20 cars on the grid. It would be nice to see for example even 30 cars on the track.
Another project that I have is a custom WEC. But there it's more regrettable not to have more than 20 cars on the track. A truly multiclass grid is impossible.
Remember that RTLM GT3s use Michelin tyres, next year WEC LMGT3 class will use Goodyear tyres. So I've chosen to do the RTLM livery because the championship that I'm making is an immagination of what the WEC could look like in the next years
I'm thinking also to do a GTWC championship but I'm very busy right now with my Multiclasses and Alfa Cup series
For the thing of the liveries I'm making the liveries for all my cars for my Custom championships.
The problem right now is buying more cars for my championships since PD didn't added an option to change liveries to the cars
But We will see what will happen
Yeah but I prefer to use for now Michelin and use Good Year for my WEC JUNIOR which features LMP2/3 and GT3sRemember that RTLM GT3s use Michelin tyres, next year WEC LMGT3 class will use Goodyear tyres.
No website, I am watching the races and the real standings from the official GTWC site, but my standings for the game I did a own excel file, implemented the manufacturer logos and country flags by myself.Which type of website are you using for your standings?
You can easily don't send me the filesNo website, I am watching the races and the real standings from the official GTWC site, but my standings for the game I did a own excel file, implemented the manufacturer logos and country flags by myself.
I can sent you the files if you want to and you change them for your teams and drivers
Yeah I am pretty used to work with excel over years at work, so I am used to make it look like that. It's really easy in general. Excel is a real great program especially for smaller companies to work with. And for my son I want to do it the best way I can to provide him the biggest fun he can have.No you can easily don't send me the files
I was only curious since it didn't looked like and excel or a google excel one which I'm using
Serious dedication GG
Custom BPR/Early JGTC GT500 grid, i've since sold the blue F40 since it kept spinning out for some reason despite both having the exact same setup so I will have to replace it with something new.
In order of the pack it's as follows:
F1 GTRs and the XJ220S and the lone faux 993 GT1 Evo RUF CTR3 have extremely intense battles with eachother with the F40 LM keeping up with the top 3 cars, followed by the Turbo charged 993 GT2 Evos, for the most part they are all fairly close to eachother.
The Diablo is not too far behind and is usually battling the GTS/R's while the faux R33 LM and Supra are usually battling eachother keeping a very close pace.
Last are the NSX GT2s/GT1 Turbo, JGTC R32 and the ZR1 C4 GT1 which used to be extremely OP but I have since downgraded it alot to make it more in-line with the real performance of the C4 ZR1 which reportedly could not keep that good of a pace at Le Mans in the year it ran.
The F1 GTRs are fitted with Turbos as otherwise I would have to do trial and error manual BOP to get the cars to match them on stock configs which would be far too time consuming and they can actually hang with them and even get surpassed by some of the cars on certain tracks such as Spa and especially Le Mans which I will eventually make custom tunes for.
Indeed, it took me a bunch of grinding to build the grid up but it was worth it in the end as the custom races are easily some of the best races i've had in any GT game to date. I just wish they paid much better as I would only do custom races if they did.Serious dedication
IIRC Project CARS and/or Project CARS 2 on PS4 had larger grids... Something like 30/32 cars. But it didn't run very well (a few glitches and bugs here and there) and it didn't have this graphics. Perhaps GT7 to have more cars in the race should sacrifice a lot of graphics to be able to run well, especially on PS4....as with the 20 car limit, that's pretty the same limit other games have too. So I guess it's the limitation the PS4 just have. It's sad that there is no multiplayer mode or just the broken one. It's nice to ride the F1 game and drive together with my son against 18 AI cars the whole season. No ACC or GT7, no PC2 or FH, nobody offers that mode offline which is really sad. Back in the day, that was the only thing that matters, to compete against real friends next to you on the couch. It's impossible these days for GT games. Like mentioned the F1 games are the only ones with that option.
Oh my bad, okay but if it's not running properly? Anyway have to race that game again anytime. Right now I am playing ACC, nothing else when it comes to racing since I am really feeling like PD just took my money for a graphics update of GT Sport...IIRC Project CARS and/or Project CARS 2 on PS4 had larger grids... NiceLooks nice too, good idea.
I am still thinking what kind of league will fit with the McLaren P1 GTR, my favorite racecar. It's too fast for the GT3, but have too much fuel consumption for the Endurance GT3 races. But it's very close to them by performance/pp.
That's why my next project is the LeMans League with the Ford GT LM, Aston Martin DBR9, McLaren F1 GTR or P1 GTR, don't know too mich cars that could fit in that league not being outclassed or outclassing this league.
Hm, not really as I want to see different cars compete. That's why I don't okay too much F1 anymore. Just tired of all same looking cars just with different liveries.Nice
Have you thought of a P1 GTR spec series?
Just need to buy a full grid 20 and add livery to each.
If that's the case cars like the FXXK and Zonda R and The Vulcan are more of a fit for the P1 GTR and even cars like the huayra tune to race spec are a better fit and challenge then GT3 cars.Hm, not really as I want to see different cars compete. I used the F12 Berlinetta as a mock Maranello. It's a pretty good car. No doubt fuel economy will suffer, versus race cars.Looks nice too, good idea.
