So I'm thinking of doing a Ferrari Enzo vs McLaren F1 custom series.

But its not going to well can this 2 cars be made competitive with each other?

I did a test both normal cars, RH tires, Boost set to weak, and I lower the Enzo HP down to 625 and.

Love the Idea of this anyone know which way to approach this problem?

A good starting point is to make sure they both have the same power, weight and downforce. If one of them is still significantly faster then add ballast until it evens out.

Not sure if ballast will work since the f1 is lighter then the enzo 2,767 vs 2,513.

Thanks for the suggesting. :)

Transmission may need to be paddle shift for the F1. Enzo will definitely have quicker shifts. If you use full race transmissions on both, could limit both top speeds to whatever you want.

I don’t have super and hyper cars, but are these two cars’ stock suspension setting similar? Maybe a tighter suspension setting for the AI to extend its performance programming.

Are the brakes upgraded on the F1? Carbon rotors or just racing brake pads help the AI go deeper with less mistakes in late braking.

Maybe, run an AI for both cars and you sit on the side of the road(Flags off) and see how they perform in a replay. At Spa like the race above and I guess one or two laps of Monza.

Using your post I tune them up not to much since I wanna keep them base no parts you cant remove and so I got this result now.

What a difference.:)

I'm so excited for this one 10 Enzo vs 10 f1 all with different liveries.

Another bright day for Suzuka with a new diverse grid to boot due to pseudo-qualifying
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241026123402.jpg
The Valvoline starting at tbe back this time made one hell of an early dive before going under the bridge

Epson NSX and Petronas RC F were the two protagonists in the first half of the race but it slowly shifts afterwards

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241026123553.jpg
In an attempt to pass, I collided with the Shell GT-R which caused it to spin, for those wanting to call me the new George Russell, I did receive karma for this immediately after

Everyone pitted on the same lap to begin the 2nd half, no major changes occured during this procedure though it all went ahead after

First simple midpack move from the Sharkbite RC F gunning for points

The Castrol RC F and I started making moves to get up at front becoming the new protagonists of the race as we both gained on the Epson and Petronas
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241026124659.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241026124708.jpg
First we both passed the Petronas around the same area, now chacing the Epson. Meanwhile behind us the Marelli GT-R made a similar move on the Loctite

We then both made moves on the Epson NSX to be at in front now dogfighting for either my 3rd win or Lexus's first

I held off the charge and crossed the line in 1st. HOWEVER, due to incident I made with the Shell GT-R which is unacceptable. I gave myself a post-race 10 second penalty which means I actually drop out of points finish and the Castrol RC F wins anyway.

Points after Round 4:
1 - #22 Xanavi Hiroto GT-R - 57 Pts
2 - #5 Fox Racing NSX - 55 Pts
3 - #64 Epson Nakajima NSX - 45 Pts
4 - #33 Valvoline GRM NSX - 39 Pts
5 - #36 Castrol TOM'S RC F - 29 Pts
6 - #16 Loctite Mugen NSX - 26 Pts
7 - #12 Marelli Impul GT-R - 24 Pts
8 - #37 Petronas TOM'S RC F - 18 Pts
9 - #3 BLITZ RC F - 16 Pts
10 - #2 Tomica Sabelt GT-R - 6 Pts
11 - #8 Sharkbite Falken RC F - 4 Pts
12 - #80 Opera Performance NSX - 3 Pts
13 - #14 Bully Dog GT-R - 1 Pt

1 - Honda - 8 Pts
2 - Nissan - 5 Pts

Round 5 will be at Kyoto Driving Park. Let's hope I don't make another accident like that or I ain't winning this thing

I decided to add the Porsche Carrera GT '04.

And it turn out to be a great addition this is when I wish the grid was more then 20 cars.

The grid will be made out of.

X7 - Ferrari Enzo
X7 - McLaren F1
X6 - Porsche Carrera GT

That's 140 million credits on the Mclaren F1 alone :embarrassed:

How on earth did you save up for a project like that to get it done so quickly?

What do you mean? I been playing gt7 for 2 years I already had the cars.👍

X47 f1
X29 Enzo
X20 Carrera GT

This is a dream grid for me as the Enzo and f1 are in my top 5 favorite cars ever and the Carrera GT is in my top 10.

Hey guys. I need some help. Legendary gr3 McLaren vs legendary gr3 Nissan GT500 at Le Mans with BoP on and rain. Who wins? Is it close?

Question if I wanted to make a grid with the 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto 1961 and Aston Martin DB5 1964 which other cars will fit this 2 for a grid?

A classic grid of.

250 GT Berlinetta passo corto 1961
Aston Martin DB5 1964

Surely a Jaguar E-type can fit in this grid.
A Corvette C2, a Porsche 904 or a Giulia TZ2?

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030181531.jpg

Race begins with a surprising Shell and Dingo GT-R up in the front row for the race and a lot of front runners from last time are now at the back

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183246.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182134.jpg
This spot became the favourite spot to make passes
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182438.jpg
Eventually the Dingo HKS made a move on 2nd creating a potential Nissan 1-2 scenario
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030181828.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030181925.jpg
Like before I made a move on the Castrol RC F which began to pick up and chase me down into the first batch of pit stops
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182318.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182326.jpg
It soon came to realise Pit Strategy waa going to be very important this race as the tyre life on this map was really poor, some of us like me ended up settling for two stop strategies but the ones that pitted later were trying for one stop
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182644.jpg

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182523.jpg

The Petronas RC F and I end up being the front runners of the two stop strategy battling it out as most of the one stop strategers came in and we acceled passed them
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182838.jpg
The original leading Shell GT-R actually stayed out for an extra lap fully commiting to the 1 Stop strategy, it did place them a bit further behind but was in a really good spot
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183208.jpg

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183224.jpg
The cars behind the Petronas and I eventually caught up which created a bit of a pack up front of different strategies going against each other
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183414.jpg

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183723.jpg

Made the 2nd pit early to go for a mad dash back in the front as the rest of the field was getting weaker
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183844.jpg

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183859.jpg

The Red Nissan twins made it passed the Petronas to get the lead on their one stop strategy
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030183915.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184005.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184026.jpg
The Petronas RC F was losing a lot of pace which created a jam the Xanavi GT-R got out first
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182243.jpg
The Marc RC F also started having problems holding the other field back up as well
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184140.jpg

Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184356.jpg

Most of the 2 stoppers finally made leaving me to chase the rest of the 1 stoppers but the Petronas RC F got unbelievable scewed out of this coming out after the BLITZ RC F
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184250.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184439.jpg
I eventually got to the Championship leader and made what I thought was a game changing pass and the Epson NSX joined me after however...
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184531.jpg
Some of the 1 stoppers couldn't make it, including the Dingo HKS GT-R, EPSON NSX and the Championship leader Xanavi Hiroto GT-R
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182510.jpg
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184548.jpg
A lot of the 1 Stoppers that did make it, including a lot of underdogs going to score a lot of points in a major upset
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030182545.jpg
Despite akso doing a 1 Stopper, the Marelli GT-R was so off the pace, it didn't matter
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030184704.jpg
On the opposite end of the spectrum the strategy did amazing for the Shell GT-R crew that pulled up the biggest upset all race weekend
Gran Turismo™ 7_20241030181225.jpg
Championship Standings after Round 5:
1 - #5 Fox Racing NSX - 70 Pts (I'm getting so FAT)
2 - #22 Xanavi Hiroto GT-R - 57 Pts
3 - #64 Epson Nakajima NSX - 53 Pts
4 - #33 Valvoline GRM NSX - 39 Pts

6 - #36 Castrol TOM'S RC F - 29 Pts
7 - #12 Marelli Impul GT-R - 24 Pts

13 - #9 Dingo HKS GT-R - 6 Pts
14 - #2 Tomica Sabelt GT-R - 6 Pts
15 - #41 Marc VDS RC F - 3 Pts
16 - #80 Opera Performance NSX - 3 Pts
17 - #61 Australian Dragon NSX - 2 Pts
18 - #11 Mad Croc RC F - 1 Pt

1 - Honda - 9 Pts
2 - Nissan - 8 Pts
3 - Lexus - 3 Pts

Next round is the first of 3 rounds of a Worldwide Tour starting off with Trial Mountain in America.

Some Group A mixed grid action:

This grid is a mix of JTC, DTM, BTCC and Bathurst Group A cars. All different specs in each series. Heavy damage keeps it interesting right until the end! Enjoy. The lighting is stunning when it turns to evening.

Really wish I could divide up my favourite cars into categories and label those categories accordingly.

Mercedes 300SLs, Ferrari 500 Mondial, ...there's quite a few 1950ies and 60ies cars in the game and it's a question how much time you wanna invest into fine tuning the grid and how balanced and "real" you want your custom race grid

Question about the BoP feature.

If you do a multiclass race of Gr. 3 and Gr. 4 cars does the BoP, Balance them to their Groups ising the preset BoPs or will try to balance the Gr. 3 and Gr. 4 cars together

I have no idea, but a quick way to figure it out, is to do a normal gr.4 race. Notice the BOP of your car.
Now pit yourself against a gr.1 grid, and see if the bop changes.

It BOP each class. I’ve done Gr.2, Gr.3 and Gr.4 in the past. The Gr.3 and Gr.4 cars won’t catch up. When Boost Weak is on, you’ll get the faster cars slowing down.
I just adjusted cars to their BOP and left BOP Off.

I noticed one strange thing about the BMW e36 (right when it launched): when fully upgraded, with widebody and driven by the AI it keeps spinning by itself at random turns where no other AI car does so. Without widebody it stays stable trough every corner on every tracks I tested it. Do you know a setup tweak that fixes the spinning of the widebody BMW?

try raising the ride height, and check the dampers. it might be bottoming out.

Huh...so BoP only works if you're using a Group(1-4/B) car?
Yes. It reverts road cars to stock.
I haven't tried BOP in a Lobby, like say, replicating the Route X Tuned Road Cars PD built for Daily Races and World Tour.
