Well, since I was hoping for that R26B RX7 for quite a while, I couldn't resist getting it sorted while the option is here. So it took 16 tickets to get the first one. Have to say, this glitch actually did improve my GT7 experience. Because the R26B RX7 is just absolutely brilliant! Better than I had hoped for. I didn't do anything else to it than put sport softs under it and de-tuned it to 600PP for Nurburgring World Touring Car race, and it is just an absolute joy. Just as light and agile as stock RX7, screams like an siren and produces power in a beautiful, linear fashion. An absolute gem.

But wait, there's more. Since I got basically all other swap engines before R26B, the second most interesting case for me was the VR38DETT Integrale. Stock, not that great. But it took nothing more than stage 1 weight reduction and sport softs to make it a joy. I have had an urge for a left-hand drive 4WD with H-pattern for a while, and this seems like it could be more enjoyable than the Focus RS. Tomorrow I'll have an R8tified MR2, thank you very much.
 
Does the probability of this... thing change at all if you install a won engine? I noticed sometimes it doesn't work now since I put the R26B in my RX7, unless I have to restart the game each time or something like that. 🤔
 
It doesn’t matter what car you’re in or if you install one or more of the engines. As long as you stick to the alternating between 1 and 3 it keeps working indefinitely.

I’m at 200+ tickets in total now. Have multiples of all engines. Didn’t score much on credits from the 4 stars. Maybe 1mn in total but loads of cars like 15+ including some GT3s, an Enzo and multiple Teslas for some reason.

Will keep going until it’s fixed. 😂

Dont know if ive just been super lucky but ive scored around 12 mil from the 4 star today, that included winning 1 million on my daily ticket that was also a 4 star though

I already have 22 engine swapped cars, and still 205 engines left.

I just need Special parts for all the swapped cars really.

You will know if you seen me in a lobby, all my engine swapped cars are in a Carbon bright yellow paint with blue trims.

Starting to feel bad for those that still have not been able to take advantage of the swap bonanza, so I have been offering to log in friends accounts and utilize my sweet controller(lol) skills to help with those pesky horizon missions.

For those of you still having issues with cone challenge, try BUMPER camera. That way your entire view area is your potential cone killing' limits.

(You have more contact area in theory, versus chase cam)


FOR the fuel conservation, I recommend turning ghost on. It helped me to be sure I was improving over previous failed attempts.

Me personally, set fuel to 2, short shifted until i got to the uphill, then switched to 1 and let it drink the rest.

The ticket glitch,be it right or wrong,has really opened up the game now with the engine swaps.Sure some of them may turn out to be stinkers but the fun factorof just messing about,trying this and that with car a or b,then racing against a saved ghost lap has breathed new life into the game for me.Judging by this thread it has for a lot of people too,why this wasnt possible from launch,or with an update is beyond me.Happy times. 👍
As @Iqpl commented,if only we could help some of the people who cant use the swap bonanza at this time,pity we cant gift engines to people like we used to do with cars.

Nerd cost analysis below so move along if you don't like to read

I'm mainly in this for the money to buy the cars I want and rare tuning parts that you can't buy. I've been pleasantly surprised from the 4star tickets. Way more productivity from these tickets than in the past. They seem to be juiced over the last couple days. I've come across 3 all car tickets out of about 135 spins.

Real question is, will adding these engines to their prospective cars actually increase the car's value when you go to sell?

Also, do you think the makers will screw over the sale of GIFTED cars from tickets bc they are listed in your garage as GIFTED? as in they wont be sellable or their value will be so little, it wont be worth selling?

I'm wondering which vehicles to swap the engines into and am thinking it's a safe bet to do it in ones you've purchased rather than have been gifted, if you actually want to sell them for a profit when they drop that update.
Obviously some of the values of the engines are low so most cars aren't worth buying just to do the swap to try and make money off of them. Some standouts will exist though that make sense(see below).
BUT!!!
I'd be surprised if they give us any more than 1/5 the value of the vehicle + it's mods.

New costs or used + engine posted value - actually sort of interesting they even give a value
Spirit R with 787 engine - (250K + 1,000,000) x 0.20 = 250K = zero profit or negative if you modified it at all lol
used Spirit @ can be had for 218 + 1mil ) x.2 = 25,600 payback
new toyota Tundra with 3UZ - (62K + 400K) x 0.2 = 92,400. 30,400 payback
new Toyota Crown with 3UZ - (57,500 + 400K) x 0.2 = 34K payback
used 89 Eunos Miata with 13BREW - (27K used + 125K) x 0.2 = 3,400 payback
used 03' M3 with PB65 - (67K + 225K) x 0.2 = lose money / zero payback

Best payback might be the Crown with the 3UZ

I'm not advocating going out and buying vehicles and swapping in the motors before they release the patch though. Could be a massive waste of money and they could give us ZERO value for modification and motor swaps in said car when we sell it. Since this glitch exists, they may even have changed their minds on mod values spent on said car but that would be a darn crime since you can easily drop 150K in mods on just about anything.. .

Here’s an interesting vehicle to appear in a roulette ticket for me. I’m unsure if this is a unique livery, or a bugged out version of the original RSR livery. If you look closely, it has all of the normal decals except for the stripes and matte grey finish.

Yea I tried it, it is a lot of fun and it handles pretty good too. The AI cars bumped into me and they bounced right off. 🤣🤣

Now if you could put the coyote in the F-150 that would be fun.

Yeah my worst fear, but I've been experimenting with extra safety navigation and button clicks and periodic navigation resets, slower cycle times but peace of mind for the times you can't keep an eye on it

If it helps, you get engines from the 4star toyota collection, if your still hoping for an engine, maybe rotate that and the nsx video, wont get as much engine overstock, but they do pop up!

This is very true. I get an engine probably 1:20 tickets, give or take a few. Definitely see 2-3 per day from the 4* and I'm not using the script, just opening tickets for 15-20min a couple times a day.

One might not get every engine but one could probably get at least half of them from the 4* alone, and that's only doing it ~1hr/day

Swapped Toyota crown with the GT500 V8 with a solid 700pp tune on Le Mans race is great. Sounds awesome and is lively. Took some getting used to the 8 gears though. That and the M3 have been the most usable swaps so far for me on the 700pp Le Mans race. I tried the 300ZX and Integra but they go through fuel way to fast.

Try the Rx-787... It's surprisingly steady. I just did the full weight reductions, softened the rear sway bar a couple ticks (down to 2 I believe) dropped the power restrictor until the power-band was favorable to short-shifting (not required as this gets the gas mileage of the 787b) and ran moderate downforce on the front and back, like 200/275 or 180/250, something like that.

It can do the entire race without needing fuel while running at FM2, is very fast, but still very controllable in the ~450HP range.

I stopped focusing on this glitch since yesterday lol got more than 15 engines each is enough for me, now I'll be waiting for more compatibilities from updates.

it's not about getting a lot of engines, getting a lot of engines is a side effect of farming cr from the 4 star ticket (and a few cars along the way)
 
I am starting to get weaker stuff now , with mostly 10k-30k and very very occasional 500k. Probably already won almost all the available cars winnable from the roulette. Still hoping to score a few more gr4 cars and vgt
 
I've been doing this since...whenever I first stumbled onto this thread, and the roulette actually landed on the 1M credit gacha reward for the first time.

I suspect that will never happen again. :lol:

Yeah, I'm satisfied with the engines that I have, but if there was a quicker way to only getting the 4 star ticket, I would just do that instead. I believe it's just quicker to alternate between the 6 and 4, than it is just to open the game, claiming the 4 star ticket, closing the game, and relaunching it, and doing that over and over again.
 
today’s my last day to do the glitch (probably) as I will be on holiday and when I come back the mid-month update will probably have patched it
