Never knew you could not claim prize and shut off game. Stuck with the Rampage (holding on to it for now) but hopefully they update more usable cars for it and other swaps.
You can actually open multiple tickets as well, long as you stay in the garage/prize screen.

I don't think it locks in until you return to main home screen. If i forget my previous rewards, I open my saved tickets and jot down prize on index card, and close app while "recieved" is on my tickets.

Keep in mind the 30+/- day expiration window, so wait acouple days to do any new update menus etc. so your reward can be recycled ♻️ for a second chance!

Ps- nice third gen, I own one myself 😎

Thanks man for the post in detail. Yeah, had her since new (yep, I'm old lol)

I am missing the Ford Focus swap, and the Delorean and also now the old mini I believe can take an even more powerful engine ? I got the new RX7, Superbird and old Golf.

I didn't know the pikes peak could go in the old Mini ? I still have a lot of the original engines and 3 Porsche engines. Only won 1 pikes peak engine for the golf on the last menu book which I only completed last week.

Looking forward to way more smaller cars having engine swaps. Seems like this is a thing from PD now. There just aren't enough ways to earn parts or engine tickets more easily.

The new audi pikes motor goes in golf, and the k20 goes into mini. Refer to first page for full list.

Just for the first post, im fairly certain the VK45DE-GTR engine is from the XANAVI '08 GTR as opposed to the 2.0 Turbo from the NISMO AUTECH '16 car.

Sorry to bump this, i got the Rampage engine which i already have, didn't save and exited the game to not waste the ticket, after update 1.21 is the same, so the logic is i wait until the next update when they update the engines\swaps so the ticked will give me a different engine ?

If the ticket hasn't expired by then, it could give you a different engine, yes.

I got the Camaro engine from the new menu book. But i haven't put it in the TVR, i'm waiting for other cars to put it in.
I pu it to the tvr unfortunately and was a huge mistake for me. Cuz i already hate the handling of tvr just wasted the engine.

Doing the same with the Rampage and Nissan GTR '08 motor. Here's to hoping for something new

Side note, just got back from a Camaro/Corvette and Stang meet up with a few supercars. Half the cars were swapped, always funny to me seeing old foxbodies with LS motors in them. Good group of fellas, kids went off and raced like always.

I'm still not sure which BMW I should put the Z4 GT3 engine into. I could buy another M3 E46, or I could simply wait until there's a 3.0 CSL '73 in a color I actually want, buy one, and then swap it then. I can certainly wait for the latter to occur, but I just wanna know which swap has the larger benefit in power?

I suppose that ideally, I'm looking for something comparable to putting the K20 into the older Mini, the GT-R Nismo engine into the Delta, the Rampage engine into the DeLorean S2, or the Porsche engine into the Sambabus. Or even the 2JZ-GTE into the GR Yaris. Something where the maximum power of a swapped car is remarkably larger than fully-tuning its stock engine. This is why I'm not swapping my Coyote 5.0L into either eligible car yet, as I don't think there's much of an increase in power when fully-tuned, so I'm waiting for more cars to be compatible with that engine.

On the other hand, there are plenty of other swaps I'd be very happy to do, such as for both the NA and ND Miatas, the 787B engine in the RX-7 Spirit R, or the Audi Quattro Pikes Peak engine in the Golf - plus the R8 engine in the MR2. But if the difference in power between a fully-tuned stock engine and a fully-tuned swapped engine is minimal, like with the Pantera or Mustang Mach 1 with the Coyote 5.0L, then I'm not remotely as interested.

There's a lot more than just the peak HP to notice in the Mustang and Pantera swap. Both gets vastly better torque curve

Well, today i got the second six star engine ticket of this month. And it gave me the new Camaro engine. Which i already had one in the beginning of the update. The problem is i wasted that engine for the Tuscan and i really hate the Tuscan's handling. So i wasted it. I can wait for the next update. It's not gonna go wasted, there is enough time. But what if i get an engine from bonanza? Which i already have 15 minimum of each. I can open the ticket and guarantee a new engine from last update, the Camaro one, or risk it for the next month. Got another ticket from this month but it's from 24. or 25. of Aug. So i believe it's not gonna make it to the next month. Opinions about what to do?

I find the M3 much easier to tune and drive than the 3.0 CSL. Even with a Praiano tune which is normally super stable, the CSL likes to lose its rear end on any corners where you put in just a touch of the go juice, whereas the M3 feels planted and reliable. I've done both and the M3 is my preference.

Have you tried increasing the ride height of the TVR?

For me, I prefer the CSL, more fun to drive. My dream would be the BMW M1, but that‘s most likely not going to happen with the M1 not being in the datamined list. Advantage Forza Motorsport...

The Pontiac Trans am really gets the horsepower down with a raised rear and few suspension tweaks.

Pantera is extremely good handing car and very fast with the stock suspension tune. I'm sure it's exceptional with better setup.

I'm not keen on the CSL loose rear either but it's still manageable. Need to be even more gentle on the throttle with this one.

The 4WD Yaris which has got to be one of the worst engine swap cars and a disgrace to call 4WD is not stable at all.

The Mach 1 is a joy to drive, it's very well planted and can handle it's power better than many other engine swap cars.

The Crown Athlete deserves an award, it really is an excellent car. This car really loves the SC430 engine.

I feel the Tundra needs little more power or less weight. t's such a heavy non aerodynamic truck. A shame because the truck is a very good handling beast.

The Lancia is let down by hugely disappointing brakes, this is because the car is extremely rapid with acceleration.

BRZ Subaru is a 230mph++ missile. The Silvia, 180 SX and the 300ZX are less stable cars with the huge power but hugely fun and really need careful throttle control.

So you have 1 installed, and not happy, have a second you can save for something in the future possibly-

You participated in bonanza, so your odds of getting something new are pretty low rn, depending on the amount of new engines they release this month, i think your odds of getting something post bonanza are pretty slim...

IMO- I'd hold the one you know is already a post bonanza engine, and pray they drop another chassis compatible car in the next updates.

That is exactly what I thought. But still a lil chance to get the lm engine is tempting. Guess i will still do as you say but will wait till the last days of this update. Thanks for advice.

I'll add that the Challenger with the Hellcat in it feels quite a bit like the Mach 1 does.

Your suspicions about the Pantera are right, with a good tune, it's one of the best swaps. I'll probably be using it a lot.

Lighter motors with linear power delivery makes center roll change direction better with the old muscle/Pantera in particular is a beast

Anyone know the date for September update? Picked up another 6 star engine ticket last night, also saving 4 star tickets/one had a FD swap iirc.

So far, only the August update date was announced (leaked, really) well in advance, so nobody knows for certain. Given the content updates since 1.13 dropped in late April have been on the fourth Thursday of the month (the 1.17 update was 6/23 rather than 6/30), the September update will most likely be the 22nd. That 6-star engine ticket should keep until then, or even the 29th if it is delayed a week.

Thanks for the excellent info showing the pattern of PD. Sounds great as I actually have 2 four star engines that should make the cut with the 6 star. Much appreciated info @Eggstor

Indeed! If true, it would give me another crack at 2 6* tickets (1 engine/1 parts) that yielded dog-doo upon opening, they expire on the 24th.

I plan to do/collect those two weeks after update. Learned that with Rampage and Nissan racing '08 motor, not complaining about neither. Just wanna see if we get different cars to put them in.

I won the LT4 recently (was extremely surprised lol) and put it in the TVR to make a classic tried and tested American V8 in a lightweight British chassis car. Its okay but I need to work on the tune still for sure. For a street car using sport tyres she puts the power down quite well. I'll be kicking myself for sure though if they make that engine compatible for a Japanese car to make a drift missle with
