Today i won the Porsche engine for the Sambabus, I already have one for the Beetle, Does anybody have any information on how far i can tune up the Sambabus, and is it any good for the WTC600 races ?

Dude...
I took tcs to 5 to save tyres.
What's wrong with that?
I usually drive with assists off except for abs on default.
And not all cars handle well with tcs on 5.
Enjoy the game the way suits you.
It's only a game...
Of course but you just can't say it handles great with tcs 5. No meaning. Yes it's only a game. And the beauty of this game is how realistic it is. Goodluck with your real car in a real track with full traction control and stability control. Will be a mess. And if you don't have real track experience please don't answer this message at all. No need to talk about these if you don't have real world experience.

Your set up must be crap to only have tires last 2 laps.
Hard tires can take you to 7 laps
Soft would last 2 laps
Every car i have with racing hards tires becoming garbage. Maybe i should use the tcs 5 method to protect tires lol. Talking bout crap? In last second to last update they changed the tire behavior. It was easily lasting 5 6 laps and now only 2. You either not playing the same game, or giving signals in every turn and driving like there is a baby in the car. And yeah my setups are garbage. I can easily win every race even if i had to go pit in 4 times a race. Lol. Guess you can do this with one pit.

Sounds like a riot to drive, but yeah probably not much of a racer. I hope we can see more options for the Voodoo engine in the future. Maybe in the old GT350?

I just remembered I haven't seen any VK45-swapped 370Zs either. Know anyone lucky enough to get one of those?
The same guy that has the voo doo 😆 🤣

Just tuned up the LT4-swapped Tuscan I had laying around in my garage. Can confirm it's a certified 300+ mph beast at Route X, and an absolute monster for 1/4 drags as well 🔥🔥 (Just go easy on the ballast, or you'll end up wheelieing the damn thing every time )

I think the bus swap is even better than the bug (love them both). It requires minimal tuning to get started but also benefits well from a good tune. Seems to have a better weight balance and the longer wheelbase probably helps stability. Fully worked it's competitive at WTC600 races, add nitro and it's unreal. Over 300km/hr at Nordschliefe, for the win in Porsche and Schwarz league. Also a great drift rig.

Nice! Though I'd wait until this month's update drops before deciding to swap it. There might be a new compatible car for the engine.
I dunno if you seem my original comment. But I already had that swap done a lil while ago....cars a beast...it can do 230 pretty easily, and I think it could pull more with a bit more tuning....it handles pretty tamely tbh, though, it can be a handful If you want it to be ☺️👌

It would be cheaper and make more sense to buy two additional cars to swap in.
Yeah, thats the right way to do it. The M3 with the Z4 engine is REALLY nice. Shoulda had that in the first place.
Cheers, Pete

I found a tune on this forum a while ago. Cannot say its like a Praiano tune but it gets you around the track, I dunno if it's good enough for the 600 PP events, I just use it in the lower PP classes. It will do over 120 mph tho' but gets unruly when cornered at that speed?!?! I don't think mine has been tweaked much, doesn't need it. Let me know if you can't find a decent tune.
Cheers Pete

I can do this with 0 pits if it does not rain, normally I do 1 pit where I will either go to inters or full wets which I can take to the end, on lap 7 it is dry that the inters or wets get shredded, if I decide to do a 2 stopper, i pit at the end of lap 5, go to slicks and top up the tank and go ape with 0 thoughts about tire management or fuel management.
I use TSC1

I can take the S15 Gr4 to lap 7 on hards and no stopping for fuel, Assuming no rain
Barring any rain which normally happens around lap 3 to 4. you can do the entire 30min on hards.
Don't forget Circuit De La Sarthe is a high speed track, the only time the tires wear is braking, accelerating and mainly the few high speed corners like porsche curves.

Common break down of this race
Lap 1 dry 100% of the time.
Lap 2 dry 90% of the time.
Lap 3 dry 75% of the time, rain will normally fall towards the end of this lap if it does rain
Lap 4 dry 40% of the time, if rain may start around Indianapolis or Porsche curves.
Lap 5 dry 20% of the time, watch the radar, if rain is to fall, it will come in hard and fast, if it has rained good time to pit in for slicks even if track is still a bit damp, use this time to get a good undercut on the Ai which will pit at the end of lap 6
Lap 6 dry 60% of the time, at this stage it is normally a bit sunny, stupid Ai pits in at this stage, yet if the Ai knew how to fuel manage they could do the next lap with ease.
Lap 7: dry 95% of the time, if you have enough fuel and slicks, gun it and make a flying lap for the fun of it.

Yes, I do miss the older update where I could do the entire Spa 1hr enduro on hards(yes, I have done this due to no rain)

Edit:
Just done a race with my S15 Gr4, 0 pit stops and still have about 35% life left in tires.

Yeah, I saw. I was just replying to the other guy who won the engine. That 370Z looks awesome though! I wonder what it could do properly tuned on Route X...

Ahhh, fair one mate. And thanks mate, it's appreciated ☺️👌 I was driving for a good hour, hour and a half earlier in lobby lol, on the Tokyo expressway..... awesome car man...

And yeah. I'm intrigued on that myself actually....might have a look later tonight, see what I can get.

Also, you know the Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera??? I've got one that's been swapped with the RAMAPGE LS7 from the rampage Camaro..... almost 1100bhp, and it sounds like an absolute MONSTER!!! Like, proper raspey and throaty....I can't think of any other words for it....and that things even more of a beast 😂😂 and weirdly, I'd handles like it was meant to have that engine lol....you can smash it around the Tokyo expressway like the corners are nothing 😂😂 awesome car man...well worth swapping if you get the rampage engine... whatever you do, don't swap it into the DMC Delorean....it handles like a piece of crap lol..even with tuning...but the amuse NISMO 380RS super leggera... definitely worth doing.

That sounds pretty sick. If I'm ever lucky enough to get the Rampage engine, I'll have to think it over as to what car I wanna swap it into. The Amuse sounds a lot better for actual racing, but as far as top speed and the quarter mile go, the DeLorean sounds like a fantastic choice...

Yeah man. And yeah that's understandable...to be fair..I do think I managed to squeeze a lil more out of the Delorean...I can't remember though tbh....but yeah, for racing, the amuse is definitely the one to have...i know I've already said it, but honestly, I couldn't believe how well it handled..truly...

Audi pikes peak quattro from my ticket. At least it wasnt another porsche engine.lol
What does the Alfa go like with the Ferrari engine swap,is it over powered or does it work ok?I got it in a ticket a few days ago but not done anything with it yet.

So i just got the BYH-R8 (Audi R8 4.2) engine. Is it good to use, which car is more useful? the TTS engine swapped for high 600pp performance?

Or keep and try to change on next update?

Wack it in the Toyota MR2!!!!! It's a dick swap if you ask me ☺️☺️☺️☺️ it's also pretty good in the TR too....but I really like it in the mr2

Not gonna lie, I can see PD pulling some elite-level trolling with the engine swaps.

Imagine they make the Carrera GT engine available as a swap, but only for the LC500. A literal bootleg LFA! The meltdowns would be enormous.

My Amuse only has 1042bhp. Haven't been lucky enough to get any special parts other than turbo's for GTR, weight reduction. Not even titanium piston Conrod. My Amuse has like toe FR \/ 0.50 and RE /\ 0.50. The car understeers more but it's extremely stable and doesn't spin out. I could definitely do with a slightly more responsive cornering setup as I have to carefully brake early and turn in early but it can still corner good.

Yeah I think thats what mines got to be honest....I knew it near 1100bhp....sounds bloody awesome though!

And really??? To be honest, the amount of special parts I get has slowed down to a snails pace now unfortunately.....but I've had some half decent parts in the past..I've had the ultra high rpm turbo for the veyron, r35 NISMO, rx7, and a few others....I've had loads of stroke up S and bore up S and a few titanium pistons (they don't do as much as you'd think)..... obviously I've had a load ofo crap ones like carbon driveshaft and weight reductions....to be fair though...since then engine glitch, I think they punishing us, Because the they have nerfed the **** even more out of the roulette system.....it's a shame to be fair....

And as for my amuse, im not sure what chassis settings mines set at, but yeah, I have to brake a lil earlier than some other cars, but it's okay though as it gets right back up to speed really quickly, and the fact it gets round the corners really easy makes up for it...love that car man...I think it's one of my new favourites. 😊

I just won that too. Holding onto it for now hoping there's new swap options in coming updates.

I have a spreadsheet 🤓

p.S. updated with partial snapshot. Can sort a few different ways e.g. stuff I need to aquire, want to work on tunes for, favourites (by ranking or colour), or of course alphabetical. made it to keep track of the bonanza.

Spreadsheets all the way... 🤓

The legendary Porsche needed for the extra menu engine ticket is back on the list as of last night.

Feel bad for people that pay 4 million only to get an engine worth 28k.. 😪
Got it and got another 26B engine from the ticket, like I needed THAT. I have three of them now and got the game well after the bonanza ended. One's in an '02 RX-7, winning races, one's on a pallet, and the last one is back in the #55 1991 787B where it belongs, not in a lab in pieces.
Just 9 more Hagerty ripoffs to buy. My latest one was the S Barker Tourer. I have the legendary Jag for 12 million, the Passo Corte something or other for around 6, the black McLaren F1 for 10 million, and all six ~20 million cars left to go. The others I got... The Router's right here. 95 McLaren, over there. Pennzoil Skyline...yeah my buddy drove it to the store, he'll be right back.
