I bought the game on the 3rd on my German account (cuz I live here and my Credit Card doesn’t work on my older Portuguese account) but I play all the games on my Portuguese account.

Now, I got the 3 cars from preordering the game but the credits are nowhere to be seen yet. Anyone with a similar issue? Is it possible that the credits will only be given if I play on the German account?

I have yet another stupid question: does anyone know what one has to do to adjust the Lan Evos' AYC? They all should come from the factory with them... Understeer only has a centre diff, and AYC isn't in the car setting sheets or in the MFD... I'm stumped. An Evo isn't an Evo if it doesn't have AYC!

Not read through all these but for reference,

Setting gear ratios is fixed in kph even though I chose mph as my unit metric for the game. I'm too old to be doing maths conversions in my head!

To those who are unsure how to turn off the 'Corner Indicators':
  1. Go to 'Settings' in the Quick or Pause Menus.
  2. Select 'Assist Settings'.
  3. In 'Driving Line Assistance', uncheck the tick box next to 'Corner Indicators', along with 'Driving Line' if that hasn't already been disabled.
The indicators should no longer be on track once that's done.

I've been out of the loop, playing only GT5 and GT6 for the past few years. So I have a dumb question: Can GT7 by played on the disc alone without access to the internet?

I read through the forum that for some people it took some time to see the 1 mil appear. I don't know, for me it was there right after redeeming the code (redeemed even before the game finished installing)

Maybe try checking your installed items again.
Also try to close the game, disconnect from the PSN from the ps4 menu, reconnect and launch the game
will try it, nothing yet

I pre ordered on Amazon UK account, received cars but no credits yet very odd

It's probably only a question I would have asked, but if anyone is wondering if the BMW VGT has an interior now, it doesn't, and you can't change the wheels, do any mods, buy any tuning parts, and the rear wing is still not listed as a wing, so it's still a pain in the ass to work with in the livery editor.

You're welcome.

Still glad I spaffed my 25AE bonus on it though :D

does anyone know if license prizes come for all bronze, silver and gold? or just doing silver and gold?

Prize cars are awarded for completing all tests in Bronze and/or Gold.

Silver times will guarantee Bronze prizes.

it must be for completing all tests and doing them in gold, because i didnt have a single bronze on the first try but i had some silvers
Which means you qualified for the all-bronze car by virtue of having beaten the bronze time in all of the tests...

I notice that yet again Polyphony have released Gran Turismo without any option to change the FOV. :grumpy:

Does anyone know what the default hFOV is that GT7 uses?

Is there a list anywhere of all the prize cars you obtain from the menus and licenses?

Not knowing this info makes me not want to buy any cars. Knowing you might get that car for free.

The excellent GR Yaris was an exception to that of course, which is a bargain at just 40k. But when you start looking at 100k+ cars it would be good to know what to wait for.

The adaptive triggers on my controller suddenly stopped working for some reason. Is anyone else having this problem? I checked the settings and everything is turned on.

It doesn't seem to want to reset my oil life after oil changed, yet charges me for them still. I hope that gets figured out soon.

Still looking for the answer to this question: is there any option (in garage most likely) to listen to the engine? Would really hope GT7 has this built in already.

PD made an effort to upgrade sounds (at least from GT6), so it's a shame we can't enjoy engine sounds while in garage mode. Oh well, maybe in a future update.

Yesterday I tried to join my first daily race in sport-mode. The moste fitted car from my garage, did just not pass because of wrong tyres and to less weight. So, in GT predecessor it was than easy by using the "quick-tuning" funktion. The game shows you whats wrong or necessary, and with this tool you can fast tune your car with the particular parts and than join the race.

But not so yesterday. I couldn't find a quick-tune featture, and have 1. to remember what is missing and 2. to leave the sport mode, go to the tuner shop and 3. buy the right parts and 4. go back to sport moden and get angry, because you just missed the entry time for that race! :banghead::irked:

As for the "cones " GT7 does not have them, only the driving line and apex markers
There is an option that replaces the driving cones. It is the braking zone. It layers red stripes over the track, so you know where to brake. It is not exact, nor were the cones. Advantage is that these stripes cannot be catapulted of the track and if you want to outbrake the competition, you can see this marker on the other side of the track, so it is not obscured by other cars. It does take in account your car, the tuning, the weather etc. But it is not exact. Sometimes you need to brake a bit earlier, sometimes when you hit the stripes. It is a worthy replacement in my opinion. Especially when using it online, hopefully it will prevent many crashes and hopeless divebombing.
