My tuned Dodge Viper GTS 02' is sound bugged. For some reason I can't use racing silencer anymore without the sound going high pitched and very quiet. When I remove it, it is just fine 🤔

For what it's worth, the blobeye is not the Spec C that was in the previous games. Jury's still out if the Spec C wing will be a GT Auto part, though...

I wouldn’t rule Apricot Hill out. GT6 also had Spa but we still got an updated Apricot Hill in that game, complete with a day-night cycle.

It will come to a Gran Turismo released in the timeline of probably WipEout Pure (ca. 2197).

I think, the reason they don't release the track yet, it's because this track is known for as you climb higher the air is thiner so the downforce is less.Also, the engine power decrease. I think they can't implement this in the game, yet.

PS4. I'll try today if I can make it work with racing silencer. But if not no biggie, Viper gets plenty of power anyway and the issue is on my alt account.

Yes; unfortunately we can't see them all in the screenshot so I couldn't put a proper list in the post. However assuming that the backing tracks are listed in order in the blog post they are:

It was featured in Gran Turismo 2 so I think they can handle that aspect.

Only a short section before the Devil's playground was in GT2.

In terms of altitude, I agree, I think PD can handle it, even if it's not that accurate from an air pressure and density point of view.... however I don't think it's partial inclusion in GT2 is any evidence of this.

The idea I heard before about Pikes Peak not appearing yet was to do with render distances and lag as you climb up, given you can see for a long way at certain points.

Air density could already be in the game, with the "Humid" & "Hazy" settings for all tracks, as well as the time of day (colder air at night etc)

Yeah, I see christmas 2026 or 2027 as a pretty realistic timeframe for GT8 release. It won't be out before Q4 2026 for sure. That said, GT7 updates will likely going to be frequent until 2025, when they'll start to slow down up to once every 3-4 months adding some new leftover content until GT8 will be out. They still have a lot of time for turning GT7 into the best GT experience ever.

Pikes Peak was in Dirt Rally on PS4, so PD should be able to handle it as well, from technical point of view at least.

Do all JDM Blobeye Imprezas not have the silver letter badges spelling out Subaru on the trunk like the one in game? All the ones I’ve seen have that but then again I live in the States so I’m not sure.
