So when will the next update be, b/c I will be starting back with gt7 tonight into tomorrow. Looking forward to the Valkyrie.

The idea I heard before about Pikes Peak not appearing yet was to do with render distances and lag as you climb up, given you can see for a long way at certain points.

Air density could already be in the game, with the "Humid" & "Hazy" settings for all tracks, as well as the time of day (colder air at night etc)
I wouldn't put too much thought into render distance being an issue. Modern rendering techniques should not have a problem, the quality will automatically drop off the further out and 3d models and textures are from the car camera, and at some point it could simply transition to hdri panoramic backgrounds or something similar. Draw distance of these kinds of things are solvable, shouldn't be a factor as to why a track may or may not be included. There will certainly be decisions that would have to be made for optimizations but shouldn't be a deal breaker. Almost certainly any reasons for its exclusion is some other factor.

You can see the effect in VR even for the track sections on tracks like horse thief mile or streets of Willow springs, especially in kart races. At some distance threshold, for whatever reason the low quality model of the kart makes the driver disappear entirely. It's a weird decision for sure, but works to reduce render complexity.

Do all JDM Blobeye Imprezas not have the silver letter badges spelling out Subaru on the trunk like the one in game? All the ones I’ve seen have that but then again I live in the States so I’m not sure.
I think that might be the case.

There's this JDM one for sale right now from the same year and it doesn't have the Subaru letters on the back.

and another one for sale on TradeCarView that doesn't have the lettering.

It also has the updated 05 interior, unless the STi in Japan came with that interior before it became standard across the Impreza lineup in 05

Seeing that LAmborghini in Famine's list, I thought MR would only be classic cars. Any Corvette or Camaro would suit the Gold Days quite well. Maybe even a Pontiac.

Valkyrie is a car released in 2021. So we can say that PD's negotiation for licensing the car took place under the aegis of Stroll. That being the case, I hope PD has negotiated the licensing of the Mont-Tremblant circuit, the best circuit in Canada, which is owned by Stroll.

But what does Stroll have to do with the Valkyrie? Genuine question. I was under the impression he was strictly involved with the F1 team.

If I'm not wrong, Stroll is the majority shareholder of Aston Martin, both Lagonda and the F1 Team.

That would be correct. He owns both through his consortium.

Ironically, it manages to get in the game first before the Pebble Beach winning Ferrari 330 that is owned by Stroll.

Stroll does not own Mont-Tremblant anymore, it's been sold about a year or so ago. The guy that bought it owns the Rolls-Royce, Bentley and Aston Martin dealers in Montreal, amongst other things.

Why no Evo 8 or IX!? 😤😤😤
When PD added the extra menu Nº8, the one where you need 3 Corvettes, I thought we would never see the C8. Menu 27 is about Corvettes and the extra menu is also about them. With no C8 at that point I really had no hope to see the car in GT7.

4 updates later and bam, we got the C8.

There's always hope and I guess one of the Evos 7/8/9 will find its way to GT7. The question is when.

Hi Guys, havent been on here since GT5. Bought GT7 in January and had a 2 months break bc of work. When i played it again last night (Spa 1h), my 962 felt different with much more understeer. I didnt change anything at all. Do we know if there was any update that would have caused that?

Update 1.31 brought major physics and aero changes in March. Cars did end up more understeery as a result, especially those with high rear downforce like the 962.

 - The following new events have been added to 'World Circuits':
  ・Fisherman's Ranch
   - Japanese 4WD Challenge 600
  ・Circuit de Sainte-Croix
   - Hypercar Parade
  ・Red Bull Ring
   - Japanese 4WD Challenge 600
  ・Autopolis
   - World Touring Cars 800

I hope the hypercar parade layout is not that one overused layout when the track has like other 5 layouts.
Seeing as the game only has two layouts to choose from and it involves hypercars...wouldn't hope for much...

One of the layouts is not even used for events. Is the one where, after the bridge, you turn right

edit: it's right after the bridge, but it's also a right turn  edited to be more clear
