Cmon Poly still with the same wheel hand grip and hud...what is this? It looks like a revamped GTS ps5 version and nothing more when it comes to visuals...

đź‘Ť For a new console they should be able to afford better animation rigging

Also kinda sad they ditched the parts with all the tree branches overhead and shadows casting down, that was classic trial mountain to me

I’m curious how the used dealership will work.

I hope GT7 has some sort of more in depth garage management built in. It’d be really cool if you could by an old banged up car for cheap and restore it, or pick up a car with some parts, unique paint schemes, and miles already on it, and manage the maintenance and wear on your own. The only other time I remember a game doing something like that was NFS Porsche Unleashed from 20 years ago:

I’d kill for a new game that could give this much garage depth, especially with an expansive list of road cars.

I’m sure we’ll learn more about the new and re-introduced features in the coming months.
Loved nfs Porsche! Also Detroit Muscle with it's auction based economy. Took time to buy all the parts you wanted then you go out and race for pinks. Fun!

Like Sebring and Daytona...
There's probably a rule somewhere from the FIA that says you can't overtake someone by launching off the track and going over an opponent, so it makes sense that the chicane has been changed. As long as the monkey is still there, there's no problem.
And the Loch Ness lol

I hope we can toggle off Sarah and Rupert, or that they will get sacked entirely before launch. They remind me of how games presented themselves in the DOS / Commodore days.
I imagine they are there just for the beginning, didn't GT6 have something similar IIRC?

Atleast back then it was Lucas Ordonez and fellow GT Academy nominees, which makes for its celebrity status.

This feels like they grab those people from Shutterstock. They should've grab from ESports champions or something.

I have nothing against the introduction messages per se. It just irks me that they have random names and avatars, which seems out of place in a GT game.

Anyone who's been to any GT Sport World Tour or GT Academy event before it will know who Rupert is :D

I have no objection to the pair, Sarah and Rupert both seemed reasonable for the social side of the game and for providing info.

Most likely they will only appear in the initial phase of the game to help guide you through how to buy stuff/navigate.

The question I am now thinking is where will our 'Maestro' Lewis Hamilton make his appeareance as presume they are planning to have him offer some race training in the driver academy maybe?

My thoughts - I'm excited as I think GT Sport is great and this seems to be an iterative approach to build in the traditional GT career/single player elements on the same platform. I also think the trailer won't really be doing the ray tracing/dynamic weather full justice!

I just hope the game will be release at the end of 2021 and not earlier.. That way PD would have a a lot of times to improve their game, with the audio and visual stuff, improving the UHD etc..

I haven't seen anyone talk about multiple layouts of Trial Mountain. I feel like there is two, one with a final chicane and one without. Take a look:

This can be further speculated by the fact that in the GT World screen, the track logo only features the chicane, perhaps suggesting this specific event uses that that layout.

Perhaps it's just a pit lane? Actually probably.

It is the pit lane, yes.
