It is the pit lane, yes.
Ah well, it would be nice to have two layouts, especially for those who don't like the final chicane
It is the pit lane, yes.
Remade the trailer with GT4 SFX and music.
These machines will only be pushed when you start factoring in dynamic lighting & weather. At that point you need much more horsepower for realistic, physics based, effects.I think they burn't out all the graphical horsepower with bit of ray-tracing, that's why it looks 90% like GT Sport.

Some things don't make sense, though. LOD transitions for trees with the PS5 SSDs don't make sense. This must be a very very early pre Alpha build.
Probably similar to how it was in the past. Older cars with mileage on them for cheap. That's about it.

Looks pretty much ready to ship to me. Still (at least) 6 months dev time since this reveal build. More engine optimisation plus a final layer of polish to come. It's very simple.
They are using the GTS engine of course, and that engine is made for mechanical HDs; to make GT7 work with the advantages of the SSD they have to reshape their engine with the ps5 SSD.
For now GT7 is widely using an engine optimized for ps4, you will see that with the next builds everything will be much more refined from all points of view, in the end the GTS engine is very scalable and made specifically to be used with future generations of the game.
In fact, for PD it will be all much simpler in development but what we are seeing today is only the tip of the iceberg.Looks pretty much ready to ship to me. Still (at least) 6 months dev time since this reveal build. More engine optimisation plus a final layer of polish to come.
That’s one of the great things with continued X86 architecture. They can concentrate resources on content and single-player. While continuing to refine performance and graphical fidelity. No need to build everything from scratch again.
GT5P had cars that were considered used, because they weren't current, listed with the new cars.Last time it was utilized its primary function was to divide the Premium and Standard cars. There’s no longer a content divide like that so I’m curious where the line will be drawn, if there is one at all. Like will we be able to buy a brand new 0-miles variant of any car at brand central, and also be able to search for a cheaper, depreciated one with miles on it? Or will there be a certain age that cars can’t be found in the regular dealership? I haven’t played anything pre-GT5 so I don’t know how it worked in the past.
If there are weather variations and tod apart from some moving clowds....In fact, for PD it will be all much simpler in development but what we are seeing today is only the tip of the iceberg.
As soon as they show the weather variations with ToD we will see photorealism
well if in the video we have that transition there will be a reason, in the end PD did not introduce those functions on GTS because they could not make it work decently at 60 fps, on ps5 we will not have this problem. If there are weather variations and tod apart from some moving clowds....

Can't show us everything immediately. That trailer is nice and all that, but... where's everything else? Damn, even official site is not updated, the new game is announced and all they did is put that trailer in news section. Kinda weird. I wonder when we can expect more news.
It doesn’t bother you at all that it looks exactly same as GTS (with some added raytraced reflections)? Where’s the generational leap? It would a complete embarassment if it looked like a PS4 game. It clearly isn’t finished.Looks pretty much ready to ship to me. Still (at least) 6 months dev time since this reveal build. More engine optimisation plus a final layer of polish to come.

Wait... if Trial Mountain is an American track... then what does that mean regarding Nessie?
There's the reason Nessie sightings have stopped happening in recent yearsWait... if Trial Mountain is an American track... then what does that mean regarding Nessie?
I mean it's pretty much based on GTSport engine with the same art style so. I don't worry too much. The early build of GTSport was also straight up a mix between PS2 and PS3 graphics with 2D trees and flat texture all over the place but the finished product is absolutely much superior. It doesn’t bother you at all that it looks exactly same as GTS (with some added raytraced reflections)? Apparently it moved to America.
