Even the menus in GTS are painfully slow to navigate between, I hope (and expect) that now its on PS5 it will be much better and a smoother exprerience.
With GT7 made for the PS5 (instead of a PS4 BC version of GTS) loading times and menus should be rapid. Should feel instantaneous (going off loading times for FIFA)

What menus do you mean because I am on my PS5 now.
The Brand Central for example. It's slow and painful to navigate

Kaz has said that he is happy with the loading times, that was basically the only pro he mentioned compared to the ps4 edition, I hope its as good as he implies.

So it was kind of indicated to visually, but it looks to be confirmed for the first time front/side/rear aero can be customized independently rather than full kits like in 5 & 6:

I think they can always be customized separately, though yeah the front aero doubles as side aero for previous ones.
Hopefully there's the option to max everything out. I read that and I think of horrifically inefficient menus like GT4. No thankyou.
They should implement shopping carts in tuning shop too like what they did in GT5's Aero Parts.

To be fair, menus should be fast on PS4 too. There's no reason to have slow and clunky menus on any game, on any modern system. It's just not necessary. For something that the player is going to spend hours interacting with over the life of the game, there's no excuse for the menus wasting time.

That doesn't mean that they can't be pretty and artistic, it just means find ways of making them pretty and artistic that don't require seconds of loading between screens. If it's less responsive than your average web page then it's not good enough.

Nah they are slow, ive always noticed this.. PS5 didnt seem to speed them up much or at all.

And incase theres any confusion, we arent talking about frame rate.
Going in and out of car manufacturers isnt very quick.
it makes sense that there's basically no difference between GTS on ps4 and on ps5, its a ps4 game that you can play on ps5. If GT7 still has those slow menus, it'll be a different story.

Devs have to proper implement ps5 i/o to get fast loading speed, in bc mode its not utilized

Going in and out of car manufacturers is not slow, I just click on a manufacturer and and the response time to see the cars is quick, with no delay. And it's the same going out of the manufacturers, quick with no delay.
My PS5 is a digital version and it may be that, but I don't really know why you guy's have issues.

Dont have any issues at all.
Im using digital aslwell, just saying it isnt quick.
Its not end of the world slow but for menus, they arent fast.

Oh im well aware of this.
I dont have any issues with it, was just chiming in.

When you say it isnt quick, well it takes only1 second for me where I want to go in Brand Central to navigate.

Sorry mate, just my experience with it.
When im going through different menus, it crosses my mind.

If it didnt cross my mind, i wouldn't have said anything.
Its far from terrible.

How rapidly the system responds to a button-press isn't the issue. The fact it takes so many of them is.

The minimum number of button presses required to buy a car is nine. Most are well above 20.
this is also very, very true. I was in this case more talking about the transition between menu's. Its just a bit slow imo. A function they could've added was to hold down on Circle, to instantly go back to the top screen, because even the button that takes you to the top screen is behind way too many inputs.

If it's about nostalgia train they're bringing up, they should bring back this, present in GT1 and GT2:

As well as keeping the Mode Menu in any menu you're in, not replacing it with the title of the menu you're in like GTS did (e.g. from Top Screen to "Home" in Home):

I never even thought of this, what a weird design decision they've made in Sport then.

Instead of wasting time on branding tyres, they should improve the tyre model itself. Besides, GT already has Michelin as its official tyre sponsor so why would they want another tyre company's products in the game?

Which one is the trailer what everybody talk, because the game looks ugly as hell and Sony deleted it?
I dont recall Sony deleting any trailers.
This is the only controversial scene ive seen mentioned. 2:01
A very zoomed out shot from what i can tell.

Console warriors were nitpicking the dam part (as early as the end of PS Showcase show) despite it clearly weren't meant to be seen when racing. While it wasn't removed, the video posted by PlayStation Turkey's Twitter had that part reshot:

(This segment had an in-game date of September 17 while the original was dated August 21; PS Turkey posted that tweet on October 27.)

The people talk about the trailer "ZERO TO SIXTY: TRACKS", the video still not appearing in the PS youtube channel but i don't know where is the ugly things in there.

Yeah i dont see an issue with it.
like you said, its not something you're meant to see while racing.
but yeah, fanboys and all that.

Edit. Damn those dynamic clouds look sweet 😍

Given the pattern, it should come up on Thursday (hell, it's Thursday already in my time zone!).

When I press on Brand Central at the top of the screen 1 second later I am looking at the manufacturers icons, and when I press on a manufacturer it takes me 1 second to view it, and it takes another 1 second to view all the cars.
It's the same when you are looking at the cars and when you press on O on the DS5 to go back, it takes 1 second between inputs.
It will be slow to navigate in Brand Central if you have are slow on your inputs.

You did, you wanted to simplify it and restrict those choices So for example to not put racing slicks on certain cars. I don’t get the point of this arbitrary restriction.

As for upgrading the suspension etc. It’s a good job you can do that in the game isn’t it. But no, you wouldn’t “need” to upgrade the suspension, you’d likely feel the better grip regardless, you’d just make better use of it with racing suspension etc.
Part of the reason why I want the tyre compounds to be more restrictive is to ensure that the races look more realistic. Having a C3 Corvette and a Shelby Cobra race against a C7 Corvette and a BMW M4 doesn't seem right because in reality, the C3 and the Cobra would be destroyed. This "simplification" will ensure that old cars race with old cars and new ones race with new ones.
And why not have those compounds available without restricting the choice?
Because you don't want to be wasting your time going through a dozen different tyre sets.
Instead of wasting time on branding tyres, they should improve the tyre model itself. Besides, GT already has Michelin as its official tyre sponsor so why would they want another tyre company's products in the game?
A better tyre model would solve all the problems that I have, capable of re-producing various compounds in better detail.
