iirc, the HUD was shown in a trailer somewhere, it looks the same as the GTS one. Except for one thing they added, for the wetness of the track I think.

This is a screenshot from the showcase trailer. That wetness HUD element is not here, since its a dry track.

Edit: the wetness meter thing is there, I'm just blind. It's right next to the tyre wear

Ops.

Part of the reason why I want the tyre compounds to be more restrictive is to ensure that the races look more realistic.
Then place the restrictions on the events, have a classic cars race that restricts tyre choice to period correct tyres only. Don't restrict the cars themselves.

Having a C3 Corvette and a Shelby Cobra race against a C7 Corvette and a BMW M4 doesn't seem right because in reality, the C3 and the Cobra would be destroyed. This "simplification" will ensure that old cars race with old cars and new ones race with new ones.
So you want to restrict choice even further so that you can't race what you want anymore. Part of the charm of Gran Turismo has been that you can take what car you want, tune it how you want, and race it how you want. All the game needs is a decent enough rule set in place for the events that will restrict the themed events correctly.

Because you don't want to be wasting your time going through a dozen different tyre sets.

Correction, you don't want to waste your time. I like having the choice, and if I or anyone else wants to put racing slicks on thier Dodge Charger Daytona, why not? If the game already has period correct tyres for it and forces those in the Muscle Car competition, whatever that may be called (assuming there is one) then there's no problem with having that choice surely?

A better tyre model would solve all the problems that I have, capable of re-producing various compounds in better detail.
How would a better tyre model solve the problem if what you really want is to restrict choice and to not be "wasting your time" choosing tyres over all of the few moments that takes.

I don't want to sound argumentative, but I really don't get your logic here. The worst part of Forza Motorpsort 7 was that they put too many class restrictions on the cars, when you bought your Hot Hatch or whatever other type of car, you could only enter it into races specifc to that class.

It destroyed the feeling of ownership and that car being unique to you, your creation, that previous games and Gran Turismo games have had in the past. If they had created a well balanced variety of events with a good set of restrictions they could have still had those class specific races but they could have provided so much more freedom in the career mode too. It was a bad game design choice.

Instead of restricting options further, I think they should blow them wide open, we won't get changes to the degree I would want, but I'd like far more choice in tuning. And if a group of players decide that in-game resto-mods are their thing, then so be it. There's nothing wrong with kitting out a classic car with modern suspension, brakes, racing slicks etc. and racing it against modern cars, in the right events. What you are suggesting makes such possibilities impossible and there's very little logic to it.

These are the rear wing options for the Supra.

But this one doesn't match any of the others. It looks like it might be the return of the 'custom' custom rear wings from GT6, where you could choose the base wing, end plates, and wing supports. Whether it will go as far as being able to make them taller and wider with sliders remains to be seen.

Edit: and here's what appears to be another custom wing, again on the Supra.

Horizon Forbidden West gave at last someting about the soundtrack. I want to hear anything in the next time about GT7, too.
Would be a nice aspect to move buyers to the anniversary edition, with soundtrack included.

Yup, seems like there will be some different options for the Custom Wing.

Nope lol

Fair enough, let's hope for the best
Take into account that they didn't cover some areas of the game yet (e. career gt mode, interface, racing display, sport mode, discovery etc.) so I guess we would get some new info/trailers until March

Ugh. PD still has problems with casting shadows from a light source when they time is set on day, that shadow on the Ferrari at his right looks so unreal, at least we can pretty much confirm that Nurburgring will have time cycle.

I don't think we'll hear anything about that until the third major trailer, where Daiki's music will most likely debut. When's that trailer? Probably next month at either the Game Awards or the FIAGTC Finals.

Daiki himself will also likely show up with the rest of PD as they watch the races as well, just like they did at the Showdown earlier (he's the guy with spiky hair and glasses, btw).

Since the last one says ‘custom wing set’, I’m pretty sure it’s customizable like in GT6, yes. :P nothing I’m worrying about. And also, who’s to say those two(three) were the only options? We only saw those two, but PD isn’t showing everything.
I hope it's real, and also hope for 360 degree cam
Why? That would be confusing without a VR headset. Also, it would put huge strain on the hardware, since it would have to render everything at all times. Usually a game doesn’t render what’s behind you until you turn around/view behind you, for a good reason.

It could also be different options for the ‘19 vs. ‘20 Supra.
