That’s pretty much what I did with every GT until Sport, now I also have the ability to do some great online racing can’t wait for GT7!

If you just remake GT4 with more shinies then all you appeal to is grumpy old men who remember back in the good old days when these entitled young kids didn't have everything handed to them on a plate and we had to grind Costa Amalfi like real men and walk 30 miles in the snow barefoot to just look at a memory card and STOP SKATEBOARDING ON THE SIDEWALK. Maybe if the experience were like Leno’s Garage. Scouring player garages and being able to drive a lap of their cars. Add a Solo and multi-player rating system for the main car list(not an individual‘s car), for PD data gathering.

Anyway, with one month to go, I know gtp sometimes get info from members that post links, but at this stage, just wait for gtp to report on it. Speculate as usual, but we’ve waited four years for this. Ain’t gonna kill anyone to wait for that gtpnewswire article.

GT7 delayed articles get clicks. GT7 will be launched on the date already confirmed several times over do not. There are very few reliable gaming websites on the internet that will put accuracy above ad revenue.

I really don't know why the "leaking scene" about events is such a big thing, but apparantly it is. Even if they are right, and they're usually not, what have you gained? You knew when an event will be happening before it's publicly announced. Whoopee.

As @happycorey said very basically there are a lot of fans that are concerned GT7 is just GTS with a few more bells and whistles.

I hope that this wont be the case but from what we have seen upto now?Who knows.So many unanswered quedtions.

Do we really need way more info though, or do you just want it? I mean, the details will all be there when the game is released anyway, or when it’s reviewed right before release rather.

Obviously we don't literally need to know, it's just a video game. I meant need to know in the sense that I personally need that information before I'll commit to buying it. If I don't get it before release then so be it, but that means I'll not be giving PD my money as a pre-order as they so desire these days.

Maybe you’re right. I’m past 30 after all, which is relatively old I guess, and I can’t wait to play GT7 for all the reasons you mentioned (well, perhaps not the grinding bit) although I think it will be slightly more than a remastered GT4.

I share a lot of criticisms with people, though. The main things being the bad AI and lack of damage, but other than that I think it looks pretty darn promising. Call me nostalgic, easily amused, a grumpy old man or whatever.

What's the issue if it just reuses GT Sport's graphics, physics, HUD, and sounds (albeit barely refined) ? I'm sure that the game will be great despite the flaws and the radio silence from Polyphony Digital. But bashing and criticizing GT7 only because of these problems has gone so far as to be toxic...

I don't give a rat's arse if the game is too similar to GTS, while being crossgen and having a below-expectations car and track lists. I'm sure I'll enjoy the game despite all of that (unless an issue actually bothers me). DLC will make it better too. Enough of this constant toxicity and bashing, please. 😒

The problem is the game hasn't progressed much, at least not from what is seen so far. in the eyes of some Given this is a discussion forum where people can discuss thier differing opinions on the matter you are going to get people happy, unappy and everything in between. The alternative is no forum, just a news feed people can't comment on.

So why not just get a pen, scribble out Sport on your copy of the game and change it to 7?

GT7 is being advertised and sold as a new game. People want to see new things from a new game, along with improvements to what is already there.

It's not "toxicity" and "bashing". Ironically the only toxicity arises when people like yourself get upset that people dare to be critical minded.

If you're happy to spend money of something supposedly new, but in fact an old game slightly better, good for you. A lot of us have more expectations and don't accept to be milking cows. My advice to you, keep the cash and keep playing GTS if you like it that much.
