Call me a demented schmuck that lives under a rock, but what is it with people here in this discussion always bashing and complaining about Gran Turismo 7 ? What's the issue if it just reuses GT Sport's graphics, physics, HUD, and sounds (albeit barely refined) ? I'm sure that the game will be great despite the flaws and the radio silence from Polyphony Digital. But bashing and criticizing GT7 only because of these problems has gone so far as to be toxic...

I don't give a rat's arse if the game is too similar to GTS, while being crossgen and having a below-expectations car and track lists. I'm sure I'll enjoy the game despite all of that (unless an issue actually bothers me). DLC will make it better too. Enough of this constant toxicity and bashing, please. 😒
Like Dave said the issue is the game hasen't evolved much, and lets not forget that they had 3+ years of development time. Of the things you mentioned i can only speak about car sounds, and in that aspect things need much much more work. For example take the Nissan GT-R GT3 in game and then listen to the real car on You Tube, it sounds nothing like it. It stayed like that from 2016 even before GT Sport released, even tho its one of the cars PD can have easier access to in case they needed to re record it. Further more most of the things GT7 has changed could've changed with patches to GT Sport years ago.
Just because they are entitled to their opinions doesn't mean they have to shove it in our faces every single time some news about GT7 get announced.
If by shove you mean posting it more than twice thats inevitable.
Saying an opinion that doesn't align with mine only once or twice is fine, but every time is just too much... :indiff:
With all due respect thats a terrible mindset.

New promo video.

Eh nothing much we haven't seen already..

New promo video.

It’s a short video that doesn’t really have anything new, but damn it has me hyped!!

I think a lot of people need to get their silly expectations in check. This was never going to be a big jump in terms of graphics like GTS was, even if it was a PS5 exclusive. It’s not like GTS is a terrible looking game anyway, some people will always have an axe to grind.

I don't know... I never intend to get abusive, but I was just irritated by this that I'm kinda venting about it. I'm going to keep quiet and shut my mouth right now.
I didn't mean to suggest you were being abusive, I was just saying differences of opinion are fine as long as they don't get abusive .

I wonder about this teased layout. Did we saw it before?

I saw Daytona chicane, Apricot Hill again, but what is that. Hope you know or remember more than me.

Looks like a FIA-ified SSR5
Which part? It's not close to any of SSR5.

The closest match is where checkpoint 2 is, but it's pretty far off that. I'd get the similarity if it were just the S bend being tightened, but the road before comes into the S from a completely different direction and then there's another bend at the end before you hit the S and go past checkpoint 2 as well.

Yeah that's true, the road after the S in the image throws it off completely but off the top of my head I don't know what else it could be aside from that - the way I see it if we got the "adjusted" lines of Deep Forest or Trial Mountain shown to us we'd never expect it to actually be those tracks due to the differences (but then again, with these tracks we got shown what stayed the same before we saw the changes)

No, just no.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and as long as it follows the AUP, then they are free to air it.

You do not get to attempt to shut them down, and certainly not with a series of posts that are AUP baiting themselves.

Why does it look like a modified Albert Park start line?
Nah it's way off Albert Park. Run into the second to last corner is coming from the wrong direction, first corner also very different. I think that Albert Park hope is officially put to bed.

It's the Mercedes VGT on the thumbnail?
Does it have finally a modeled interior?
Nope, that's the Porsche 917 Living Legend.
I compiled the images together if that helps anyone identify it. Though it'd be funny if the ad creator was playing with us and it's just random line squiggles 😂

This looks to me like Silverstone. I'm guessing they'll show off a few more too given the whispers of Apricot Hill and Special Stage Route 5.

(Really hoping they add Grand Valley, Autumn Ring, Special Stage Route 5, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta so that it feels complete already, and at least we have all the tracks from the first Gran Turismo in GT7).

Perhaps people have legit criticism?

Does not mean people are bashing the game or the series. Look at the posts I dont see any bashing or insults.

People want GT to be better rather than staying as the same old game.

There's a trailer showing Horizon Forbidden West gameplay on a PS4 Pro. Looks pretty good, I must say. Gives me hope of some pretty high quality gameplay in GT7, under the same circumstances. Hopefully, there will also be a trailer of that kind for GT7.
