Ray Tracing in scapes is confirmed! Look at the side mirror reflection.

I think a lot of people need to get their silly expectations in check. This was never going to be a big jump in terms of graphics like GTS was, even if it was a PS5 exclusive. It’s not like GTS is a terrible looking game anyway, some people will always have an axe to grind.
GT7 is not exactly a title people would have naturally low expectations for. It's like, Star Wars or James Bond, or a new Ferrari. It must be a priority for Sony, set new standards for PS5/XboxX games, be the reference. It's huge!

GT2 / 3 / 4 were hugely expected too , they met the expectations. PD made magic in terms of graphics, modelling cars on so on, all that magic seems to be gone. We have graphics fairly similar to Sport with a lot more power available, new cars I let you do the counting... Tracks... I hope it will be a nice surprise though.

I'm not sure what other track this could be besides ssr5.

I dunno, whilst the rough shape fits that'd be a pretty radical change, with the track going the wrong way shooting to the top right.

I also still can't see them bringing back the special stages now they've made Tokyo Expressway.

I'm guessing Apricot Hill is either meant to be a surprise like the "music rally", or something they really wanted to have on day one but haven't finished yet (like the Red Bull events in GT6).

I'm thinking it's more that they know in 2022 you need to tease content over months to stay relevant on social media.

Doesn't Seattle circuit (as depicted in GT3) just straight up not exist anymore or am I mistaken?
You are correct, some of the roads have been changed/aren't there anymore as has the scenery, significantly so in places. To do the track based on the current street map would see significant changes.

The roads around the stadium in Seattle have all changed and the Dome is obviously not there anymore then the underpass by the start finish straight isn't there either as the overhead expressway was demolished. The start and end of the lap would be different but the middle bit is still there I think.

They just need to give us a robust track editor and someone will make it for us.

The warped perspective makes some turns look not exact. This is for sure apricot hill.

Sydney Motorsport Park has a similar section, but it‘s shallow in the GT7 clip.

One more thing that is confirmed now is the 'High framerate Performance Mode'... That means there is also a 'Quality Mode' (or sth like that). That probablby means 30fps replays with Ray Tracing vs 60fps replays without RT. But... what could it mean for gameplay (during race)?

I think you are right, it's just for the replays. They will never sacrifice 60 fps gameplay.
