I'd say with the TV ad-focused video today once again solidifying March 4th, we can finally put any other date speculation to bed?

This was confirmed on the website ages ago:Ray Tracing in scapes is confirmed! Look at the side mirror reflection.

but which ones ? 😁There’s multiple tracks teased in the clip
Yes, but we have never seen it in action until today. This was confirmed on the website ages ago:
"The images will appear very real, thanks to HDR technology and ray tracing that provides complex professional effects, including panning shots."

Wait it is thursday today right?Interesting that this released on the 6th Friday. Five more Fridays to go.
I'm not sure what other track this could be besides ssr5.but which ones ? 😁
GT7 is not exactly a title people would have naturally low expectations for. It's like, Star Wars or James Bond, or a new Ferrari. It must be a priority for Sony, set new standards for PS5/XboxX games, be the reference. It's huge!I think a lot of people need to get their silly expectations in check. This was never going to be a big jump in terms of graphics like GTS was, even if it was a PS5 exclusive. It’s not like GTS is a terrible looking game anyway, some people will always have an axe to grind.
That section almost looks like Seattle circuit. The flick on the right just makes it hard to tell otherwise though.I'm not sure what other track this could be besides ssr5.

Friday morning for me.Wait it is thursday today right?
I dunno, whilst the rough shape fits that'd be a pretty radical change, with the track going the wrong way shooting to the top right.I'm not sure what other track this could be besides ssr5.

hmm it seems that there is a slight hump on the end of sector 1 and start of sector 2
I'm guessing Apricot Hill is either meant to be a surprise like the "music rally", or something they really wanted to have on day one but haven't finished yet (like the Red Bull events in GT6).
That statement made me kept thinking of this, i don't know why...On a technical level, every GT game has been an improvement on the one proceeding it. But I think you know that that isnt enough by itself.

Doesn't Seattle circuit (as depicted in GT3) just straight up not exist anymore or am I mistaken? That section almost looks like Seattle circuit. The flick on the right just makes it hard to tell otherwise though.
You are correct, some of the roads have been changed/aren't there anymore as has the scenery, significantly so in places. To do the track based on the current street map would see significant changes.Doesn't Seattle circuit (as depicted in GT3) just straight up not exist anymore or am I mistaken?
The roads around the stadium in Seattle have all changed and the Dome is obviously not there anymore then the underpass by the start finish straight isn't there either as the overhead expressway was demolished. The start and end of the lap would be different but the middle bit is still there I think.
Sydney Motorsport Park has a similar section, but it‘s shallow in the GT7 clip.I'm not sure what other track this could be besides ssr5.

The warped perspective makes some turns look not exact. This is for sure apricot hill.

I think you are right, it's just for the replays. They will never sacrifice 60 fps gameplay. One more thing that is confirmed now is the 'High framerate Performance Mode'... That means there is also a 'Quality Mode' (or sth like that). That probablby means 30fps replays with Ray Tracing vs 60fps replays without RT. But... what could it mean for gameplay (during race)?
