Again with that fallacy? Gaming development =|= the tecnology
Words mean things

Yeah and thats why computer, game and development are diferent words.Words mean things

So what is the best response to a brick wall?Me thinks you don't know what words mean at all. This is basically arguing with a brick wall.
My math teacher can't make a video game because game development isn't math.Me thinks you don't know what words mean at all. This is basically arguing with a brick wall.
I think they mean improvement in the sense of racecraft and adapting to surroundings/other players in a dynamic environment. The speed will probably improve as a byproduct of that.GT Sophy is awesome, they even said there's still room for improvement, really, I don't know how much that AI can improve. Guess i'll try to enjoy my last moments of life before GT Sophy turns into GT Skynet.
Problem solved.Oh god not this again
From the nature artcile, they mention two explicit areas for improvement: First one is that on longer straights Sophy does not strategize for the other driver retaking position using a slingshot after getting overtaken by Sophy and rather goes for the quickest available overtake. Another one is that it still tries to aggressively overtake opponents who already have a penalty rather than waiting for them to slow down due to penalty and overtake in a safer manner.GT Sophy is awesome, they even said there's still room for improvement, really, I don't know how much that AI can improve. Guess i'll try to enjoy my last moments of life before GT Sophy turns into GT Skynet.
It's very funny seeing your comment without context 😂Oh god not this again
Yeah. Also "Sportspersonship." And one of the people who raced against the AI was a woman, so...maybe we'll see male/female driver models...we'll see. Kaz mentioned once it's not a major thing they were concerned about and in a game where you'll hardly ever see your driver, I agree. I mean, FM7 has male/female drivers, and...you really wouldn't lose anything if you couldn't choose. It'd be nice, but not a deal breaker.Just me or does Sophy Bordeaux's hands look feminine?
Thanks for responding. I thought I was the only one.Yeah. Also "Sportspersonship." And one of the people who raced against the AI was a woman, so...maybe we'll see male/female driver models...we'll see. I took sportpersonship(what a tongue twister) as the AI adapting to the driver's racing style.Yeah. Also "Sportspersonship." Maybe later. Let's play Global Thermonuclear War.So what is the best response to a brick wall?
Funny game, the only way to win is not to play at all. You want to play a game of chess?
Nature is one of the most prestigious science journals out there. A video game related paper being on the cover is of course a big deal for tech outlets. I do not think most people realize how much of an achievement this paper is.This all over the news.
One example, opening paragraph from Wired, (cool intro)
TAKUMA MIYAZONO began driving virtual race cars at age 4, when his father brought home the highly realistic motorsport game Gran Turismo 4. Sixteen years later, in 2020, Miyazono became the Gran Turismo world champion, winning an unprecedented “triple crown” of esports motor racing events. But he had never faced a Gran Turismo driver quite like GT Sophy, an artificial intelligence developed by Sony and Polyphony Digital, the studio behind the Gran Turismo franchise.
Sony's AI Drives a Race Car Like a Champ
The company built GT Sophy to master the game 'Gran Turismo,' but it may help the development of real self-driving cars.www.wired.com
I was not famiiar with Nature before today*. So I did not know. Thanks.Nature is one of the most prestigious science journals out there. Bob is slowly but surely evolving from trauma of being outbraked by becoming last of the late brakers. Once Bob has conquered the GTverse, it won't be long before his agent figures out how to clone himself and become ruler of the metaverse. Who will be The One to stop him? I suppose if the servers are supplied by E.ON and Bob can't afford to pay the rising costs, then that will be the end until he is resurrected by a GT7 update.B Spec Bob fans, your time has come
Look at my old postsInteresting
Explaining why would add some purpose to your post.
GT7?So, GT 7 is now at 14 million copies sold as per the making of Sophy video. Where does that put it compared to other GT titles?
Are you sure about that? Sounds way too high. So, GT 7 is now at 14 million copies sold as per the making of Sophy video. Where does that put it compared to other GT titles?
Sophy has become so intelligent she can now travel into the future 😯😉GT7?
