Question

Steelbook buyers are entitled to 1,000,000cr, 1,500,000cr or 1,100,000cr?
1,000,000 Cr.

Does anyone have any clues about the launch show location?

(But maybe there won't even be any events because of the pandemic...)

Not sure where you heard about this but I honestly wouldn't bet on one (Especially given the various protocols in place regarding quarantine and such around the world). Maybe a digital live stream of some sort.

Hi

Apologies for what may be a stupid question, but I haven't been following much since 2019. Will GT7 have a VR mode compatible with PSVR1? Or are they waiting for PSVR2 to come out before adding the mode?

No VR mode shown in any videos etc yet, but it might be that they're waiting on PSVR2 and it might come in a future update perhaps ? The last video from the Sony State of Play half hour showcase, showed a lot of things but there were zero mentions of anything related to VR.

Hi guys, I'm an absolute noob here, but I have some questions regarding the pre-orders.

If I want to buy the game digitally pre-ordered, but I don't want to get the bonus credits and cars, what should I do? Is there any way to get around the bonuses? Or do I have to buy the physical copy instead? You know, I don't want to start with 100,000 credits and cars straight away, I want to have the classic GT experience and still be able to launch the game at midnight on March 4th.

We’re not sure how the preorder bonuses will be distributed (either through a separate download when the GT7 preload finally goes live or they’ll be given out automatically). Your best bet might be to start the game with the bonus credits while pretending you don’t have all that money - that’s what I think I’ll be doing anyway haha

That's a very good approach, might try it! I thought about buying a car for 80,000 that I won't be using, then start off with 20,000, if there are no other options. I feel a huge urge to pre-order this masterpiece :D

This 180SX from the SoP video has an offset license plate, not sure if that's a customization option or if it's part of the widebody modification.

Great, but if there’s no option to remove the plates altogether I’ll be pissed. What’s the point of making a car look like a race car if you’re still forced to keep the license plates? The wide bodied 3.0 CSL still has the plates as well, so I’m kinda worried actually.

If they have the option to move the plate to the side, it wouldn't make sense for Polyphony to not add the option to remove it altogether! but who knows, Polyphony is unpredictable, and I REALLY hope I'm right.

I made screenshots of cars in the showcase section.

So, the Testarossa does have bodykit mods, the GR86 has a splitter and wing. I know you all saw the Integra already, but I thought I would show it in a cleaner view. Another thing I did notice looking at the S15 is the lack of a license plate. Though I'm not sure if that means we can delete them or it's just the front bumper modification causing that.

Some cool hints in there for the modifications. The GR86 has a splitter and looks to have a diffuser, Testarossa has a front lip thing. But it is interesting for me as a hot hatch fan to see the wing on the Swift. Compared to the giant wang that hatches get in Forza it looks much more tame and realistic. Hopefully that's a common option on hot hatches.

I wonder if we’ll here about the game going gold very soon. We only have two weeks left until March.

Some here, though I have a good feeling it will. I recall some of the hot hatch wing options for GT5 & 6 being similar. I.E. I remember the Mk.2 Focus ST having a WRC styled wing on the back. So maybe other hatchbacks will too.

I'm honestly waiting for reviews at this point.

It looks like when we share liveries, it's not just the paint and decals like in GT Sport, but also which aero parts we have installed. I wonder how that'll work? Could it be that we download the livery, and then we pay a certain sum of credits to get those specific parts installed on that car? Either way, I definitely plan to share my liveries in that case, doubly-so with all the possible aero parts and wheels we'll have available.

Same here, especially since I plan to get the PS4 version. But I bet it'll be the same as the PS5 version, barring some graphical upgrades and the DualSense integration - even including the content that'll added in updates, especially since PD/Kaz stated there'd be cross-play between the PS4 and PS5 versions. I also predict both versions will get a MetaCritic score above 80, in which case I plan to get GT7 within the first week of launch. Perhaps that Saturday on the 5th, when I get my real-world driver's license renewed, funny enough.
