Don't know how in depth PD is willing to go with engine swaps but at least players will learn the name of the engine in every car.
Also,i've been wondering if the "measure" button is another way of players knowing if the car needs an oil change or engine repair.Maybe the car will even lose PP over time(this could be a nightmare for the tuning people 😂)
...measure is AI testing car in real time on "test" track so one can get current setup performance data, so you as a player don't need to go out on track and test accelerations, breaking etc.

I remember wanting this since GT5. Had a friend who used to host races and the only cars allowed were 4-cylinder engines, and not many people knew which cars had a 4-cylinder because the game didn't tell you.

What would be awesome, is if the lobby settings allow you to restrict races based on the type of engines, alongside other restrictions like PP.

Has it been mentioned/talked about yet that it seems like Garages can be upgraded?

I'm wondering about one more thing... Is free chase camera (360 degrees) finally going to be in... It was present only in the early GT: Sport Beta.

This. And being able to re-map buttons for the old style`X for accelerate, etc`🤞
🤞
You’re able to map the older controls on GT Sport too, though the lack of pressure sensitive buttons on both the DualShock 4 and the Dualsense means it’ll be a lot more difficult to modulate your inputs.

why would you do this

like, this is actively making the game less realistic and more painful for yourself.
I have problems with my fingers after a while, not going into detail but im not able to modulate the pressure sensitive buttons accurately for long periods of time so the old way works for me fine. So,regarding your comment,it doesnt make it more painful for me.Ok.

Cr.500,000?! Don’t remember it being this much!
If I recall correctly, it was always the same percentage of the car's price. You see in the screenshot that it's for the Formula Gran Turismo, which cost 5.000.000 cr., so it probably was 10% of the car price to get your engine rebuilt.

Either that, or it's simply due to those images being a different build. First image is from 16/12/2021, second image is from 7/12/2021 (it's far more modern than the first one), and third image is the latest one from 27/1/2022, but I hope we can sort of upgrade the garage building!
They could change naturally over time,as you progress through the game.Maybe tied to collector level or the amount of cars owned

You can remap buttons at the system level on PS4 and PS5.

Doesnt that affect all games played though?I know you can re-map them in GTsport which i did, just a case of wait and see i guess. Not long now to go. 👍

The insanely difficult Mission Race from GT4 in the Nurburgring (Mission 34, am I right?), but this time with a Porsche Carrera GT.
