Other GT games had GT League like FR or Sunday Cup. In GT2 races were in one menu and GT4 has different locations like beginner or japanesse. GT7 doesnt have like this two games. Every circuits has own events. But i was realy like the changing circuits while in a championship but now i have to turn back to the menu and go to another circuit and select the event am i right ?

I'm not so sure. I think that's mostly going to be for non-championship events, whereas actual championship events (like the Asia-Oceania Cup) will still be done in sequence like in prior GT games. But that's just my guess.

EDIT: Either way, it's definitely interesting how there are now more variants of the same event, whether it's by general PP of the field, by region, or even by when the cars were made, as I spotted a Sunday Cup Classic race held at Goodwood Circuit.

Well, the Championship menu is located in a place other than the track list...

Don't know to extend Sunday Cup though, it was never done that way in previous games like, Clubman Cup was supposed to be the next level of Sunday Cup.

Anyone notice the Trophies icon in the GT Cafe menu on the official site? I think that's where we'll get the full list of race events, as a checklist this time.

I know they at least did something like this in GT3, but I think it's a lot more interesting this time around. Instead of just increases in performance, it seems that there are regional events, too, like a Japanese Clubman Cup, or the aforementioned Sunday Cup Classic at Goodwood. Hopefully we'll still get some returning events from prior GT games, as well as new ones with interesting regulations. That Sunday Cup Classic has already piqued my interest. For example, we don't know if it's restricted to cars from before 1980, or before 1970.

EDIT: And furthermore, I know that so far, there haven't been many events seen with a PP limit, but I'm hoping we'll be able to see identical regulations for almost any event (with enforceable PP limits) online, whether it's in a championship, or at least as an option in lobbies.

Its going to be a small pool of cars, looking at the known car list about 50-60 will be eligible, so the stock will rotate back around quickly.
Plus, changing colors. So, might have the feel of Mileage Exchange, when waiting for a particular Color. That’s if a player doesn’t want to change the Color in Livery Editor.
Anyway, I’ll definitely post pics of the UCD and BA(if it’s unlocked) first day, to compare my main and alt accounts selections.

What do you think of the idea of me journaling my way through GT7's campaign when it comes out? I'm simply afraid nobody would be interested, regardless of my writing style. Would people do that? I suppose it's like a Let's Play in the very classic sense, where they used to write about the game alongside screenshots of the game. This is opposed to what's arguably the more popular form of Let's Play, where you improvise live commentary on a game as you're playing it, and the whole thing is broadcasted on say, Twitch.

Take the general way of how SomethingAwful used to do Let's Plays, and then add a lot more class to it. That's what I had in mind.

EDIT: My take on an LP would be purely text-based, too, and new entries would be posted not long after I'm done with the corresponding time I spent actually playing the game.

If its something you want to do then I would do it - even if it ends up only being for you (which I'm sure it wont be) it gives you something to enjoy creating, as well as something to look back on down the line.

Sounds good! I think that after my first time playing GT7, I'll create a thread, and then update it with future journal entries that detail future gaming sessions. I do pride myself on my writing skill, too, but I always more specifically felt that I was better at writing critiques/reviews/analyses than say, fiction. Indeed, I even wrote for my high school newspaper, and then my college newspaper after that. Even now, I occasionally write letters to my local newspaper, and a lot of the locals here seem to like them. Maybe I'll take some courses in journalism, since I never took any as an undergraduate.

EDIT: Better yet, I'll make a thread containing a link to a DropBox document in the OP, where my GT7 journal will be hosted, and then update it as I go; I'll inform people following the thread of any updates. That way, people won't need to read the entire thread to hear my story.

Say, I did have a question. I do plan to get the PS4 version of GT7, yeah, but what if I end up getting a PS5 in the future? I'm concerned about whether save data will transfer from the PS4 version to the PS5 version. I know the two versions have cross-play; one would think that as a result, you could easily transfer your progress - but I suppose I wanted to be sure.

In theory you should be able to transfer your save to the PS5. I know for Avengers, Fallen Order and a few other games I have PS4 versions of it let you migrate your save data to the PS5. But you won't able to go from PS5 to PS4.

It makes sense that you'd be unable to send PS5 data backwards. I just hope we get confirmation not too long after launch.

Call of dudey
Even that isn't even close, with 400 million across the entire franchise. Only one franchise has come close to the billion mark, and that's Mario, and even then that's only if you include all spinoffs to get to just under 800 million.

How soon will well known reviewers get copies of GT7 to review before release? Is it usually 2 weeks before release or closer? I imagine it'll be soon to create some additional buzz for the release of the game, no?

I kind of thought that may be the case, maybe my thoughts of 2 weeks before release a bit aggressive. LOL

Embargo will put the reviews live after the game is released. At least that’s what I am expecting.
For example. Embargo for Horizon Forbiden West was lifted on 14.02. 4 days before launch. I guess this will be similar with GT7 sooo 28th of February?
