An absolute beauty. A dream come true, if that’d make an apperance.
I would probably make a livery for it based off of a toy car from my childhood (that my sons recently inherited and destroyed shortly after 🥺)

I'm wondering about one more thing... Is free chase camera (360 degrees) finally going to be in... It was present only in the early GT: Sport Beta.
I sure hope so. I remember thinking "yesss finally 360° camera." So dissappointed they ditched it.
They could change naturally over time,as you progress through the game.Maybe tied to collector level or the amount of cars owned
Yes. I was thinking the same.

I have problems with my fingers after a while, not going into detail but im not able to modulate the pressure sensitive buttons accurately for long periods of time so the old way works for me fine. So,regarding your comment,it doesnt make it more painful for me.Ok.
man you're lucky the old pressure sensitive pad buttons still aren't a thing then too.

I have the same issue it sounds like. The pressure sensitive pad buttons are far easier on the hands than the triggers/bumpers.
i hated the pressure sensitive pad buttons. you were always just fully into them hurting the tips of your fingers.

the move to the right stick for throttle/brake was a godsend.

DS4 and DS5 don't even have them anymore, so have fun playing older GT titles with them... or even GTA. Love to accelerate with spinning wheels and be braking like a maniac.

In my case it's from growing older. At 51 I'm hardly run down, but my hands can't take it like they use to. I use the triggers for gas/brake, but like you say, it gets rough after a while. I didn't have that issue with X/Square on PS3, and could actually modulated them pretty good.

While I'm here, preordered the 25th Anniversay edition yesterday from Playstation, so I'll be able to play on the PS4pro now, and when I eventually get a PS5, I'll have the disc for it.

Going from GTA San Andreas to GTA4 blew my mind, just the idea of driving slowly was novel, compared to the "always full throttle" PS2 days

On the subject of controllers, I have had my PS5 for 1 full day now, and the dual sense controller is genuinely a game changer for me. Especially having come from an Xbox (series S). I'd spent about 60 hours on F1 2021 on the Series S and I still felt like I had to almost relearn how to play it on the PS5 because of how the triggers work.

I am looking forward to feeling how Gran Turismo implements this, being a first party studio and massive launch, I would hope that it maximises the potential of it.

There would good if there engine blowouts.

Trying to finish and endurance race and the car goes and loses its engine.

Motorsport can be so cruel!!
It's probably only good if there are choices that the player can make to avoid it.

It's one thing if the engine blows if you hit the limiter too many times or too hard. It's another if it's just a random thing that happens regardless of what you do as a player. Then it's just a masochism simulator. I get that some people are into that, but most people don't want to spend their free time playing a game where you have a chance of randomly wasting hours of time just because "muh realisms".

Yeah, in real life sometimes drivers get screwed through no fault of their own but this is a game and it's supposed to be fun.

GTSport has that,it's called being disconnected from a race. 😂

Even if the engine temp went up, that'd be a plus. Following too close already see the effects of dirty air and premature tyre wear. Managing how much time spent slipstreaming is also a nice warning to be aware of during races.

I don't see them doing that, just a simple "engine naturally degrades over time",maybe hitting the rev limit all the time is taken into account but that's a big MAYBE

All we have are oil pressure. What's the point in making that gauge move?
PC1/2 have that high temp feature. The engineer will let me know to be careful of overheating. Mainly happens in my TCC(TCR) races.

This is a really nice touch because a visual representation of a "garage" has been missing for some time. The idea of "upgrading" it over time is fun because it symbolises the progression and expansion of your collection.
I really hope we can have some type of virtual showroom that changes with the garage upgrades. Something Forzavista wouldn't suck either.
