Gran Turismo 7 PS5 File Size Increases With Update 01.020.000

Polyphony Digital has increased the download size for Gran Turimso 7 on PS5 via the release of update 01.020.000.

Gran Turismo 7 now weighs in at 96.80GB for Sony’s new home console, whereas prior to this update, the racer clocked in at 89.445GB. This makes it by far one of the biggest first-party games from Sony to date, so make sure you’ve got enough space on your console come release.

It'd be far easier to trust them if they could spell "Turismo".

I can't help myself but this vision looks awesome...just don't know what that stick (left of steering wheel is ) ? looks like boost...girl in trailer of coupe version pushed it..but jaguar vision coupe never had overboost system in gtsport , not even option to tune the car it was lockedView attachment 1115101

I like the vision cars. They are what top level engineers at some of the best auto makers in the world would design if they didn't have to consider cost, marketing, or practicality.

Not exactly GT7 related content, but this video shows some actual footage of 2017s SEMA winner 1992 Honda Civic (by Garage RCR) scanned in 2017. This video was upload just today.

I think it is GT7 related, look at the description. Of course that might be an assumption from them, but who knows. :)

I'm not sure. The video description does not indicate that it is. Because the video itself is posted 2 weeks before GT7 release, it is a matter of whether it will arrive in a GT7 update or better yet on day one. We will have to see.

Also remember that discourse when the non-22B GC WRX STi was added to GTS when some of them considered it a duplicate to the 22B for some reason despite how different the cars are (different engine and wide vs narrow body)?

(The Levin was also part of that discourse and there is something to be agreed mechanically, but I guess people are likely to appreciate it now after Racing Lagoon's translation patch is out; in it, the hero's default car is a Levin).
Yeah that, a bit of outrage with Levin being added as a "duplicate". That one I won't consider as duplicate due to different front look, don't know if I'm the type to "ruin the game" with that outlook though.

And yeah, obviously both Imprezas can be accused as "duplicates" due to well, same generation and same power.... actually the different engine and wide vs narrow body is why I'd want for some variants to be added to get people to learn about it (but not obvious actual duplicates like only different year).

Wish they'd throw in the Viper Concept for the sake of Nostalgia lol.

I'm happy the car seems to eventually be coming to the game because I love the EG hatch... but man, I hope we get the stock one too. EK Civics are so oversaturated in the real world, so its kind of annoying that its the only 'classic' one we have to choose from in GT Sport and GT7.

It could be scanned in 2017, but they're definitely wearing masks in some parts of the video so I would assume it's within the last two years that they finally got around to it.

I'm seeing what looks like two modified 911's (different generations), and a modified Hakosuka. Hmmmmm
The first 911 is a GT2 997

That music has been in my mind since I heard it for the first time in the State of Play video.

There're still 2 weeks left until the release of GT7, but just as I expected, I've found one of my favorite soundtracks in GT7!
Old school vibe, alternative rock. I love it!

I think the haptics are going to be very cool for controller players. I'm currently playing HFW and it's very well implemented in the game. I don't know if it will make someone faster but I think people will love it.

There is a source, fetched from the PSN/PS Store API.

It also gives an insight on the build date of the PS5 version, as well as the aforementioned size-inflating update.
I'd question the accuracy of anything in the PlayStation Store after what I saw a couple of days ago with Cyberpunk. 94.63gb for the PS5 version (that was really only 56gb when downloaded) versus 71.74gb for the PS4 version :crazy:
