I know it isn't news but a video was posted yesterday on YT showing actual footage of the car getting scanned but has recently been removed by the uploader.

I hope that we can open the photomode during gameplay without stopping the race. I really hate how we have to stop or end the race to take photo's and need to watch the clip to get the shot you wanted. Thats the reason why i took less pictures in GTS, it took too much time for simple shots. And they also need to give the camera more free control in the camera mode. I don't want to go back and reposition the camera every time i want to take a shot from different a angle.

Could be, would you get a base PS4 or Pro? There’s no telling how long it will be until PS5’s are available and if you dont want to delay buying GT7 and you are prepared to pay for a PS4 only to sell it when you get a PS5 then go for it. There are plenty of people who have paid twice what they are worth to purchase a PS5 from scalpers so if you have to take a small financial hit to buy and sell a PS4 then it’s not such an issue comparatively. So, can you be patient and wait to get a PS5 or do you really want GT7 right now?

Got an EE store near you? EE have stock at the warehouse, your store just needs to email them to order one in. If they check the internal stock files they'll see the stock available. That's how I got mine. And my buddy I work with got his Series X sent to the same store I got my PS5 next day as well.

That was also what was in the news story, but the video was made private shortly after. It seems that the methods involved are a trade secret of some kind.

Can’t recall if we had bars like that in GT4-6. I think the nitrous was a vertical bar. Anyway, those bars seem to replace the surface traction indicator. Would have to look at the drag race clip.

Edit: This is the hud from the State of Play. Not sure where those other pics come from.

There’s no surface meter in two player.

Okay, maybe it has to do with forced induction. The GTO have the bars and this ZL1 below.

This Mustang below, doesn’t have the bars. It does have a roll cage though. So, it’s probably tuned, but no forced induction. Might not be the Shelby because, the dual Center gauges are missing. Could just be the normal GT.

It might be the hype talking but now that we know we can add roll-cages and wide-bodies, what if we can also add racing seats and steering wheels? This would be so easy to implement imo! They can just model a few selected items like they do with the wheels!

I was thinking the same when we first saw it. I’d love that. And also visualize weight reduction. If you remove the backseats etc it should be visible.

No, but the GT Cafe menus show you how to acquire the cars on the menu, and some of them appear to be acquired by winning or finishing in the top 3 in certain races.

Yes, my bad. 10 cookie points to you. If someone just races on without checking the booklet(s) any car won would be a prize, since they didn’t know it was an announced "collect" from the GT Cafe booklet

The return of body rigidity could indicate that visual damage might be a thing, maybe a superficial one like the one seen in GT5, but hey would still be awesome. The damage in GT Sport was awful

Actually they should allow us to take shots in any 3D places like GT Auto, GT Cafe, etc.

Pretty much the reason I stopped playing Horizon 5, for me once the single player is complete, I can't be bothered with the seasonal stuff to unlock cars I can't get any other way. I know the altered it in the last update to give more weight to single player gamers and reduced the points needed but it was still a pain in the ass to do.

I'd expect some grind in Gran Turismo, it's pretty much a series built on doing so but yeah I agree, everything should be attainable with solo play.

Because High Speed Ring is cheaper to book time on.
