It's one of the worst aspects of the Forza Horizon games IMO, it's playing on players fear of missing out to make them feel like they have to keep palying the game and playing a certain way. If they want to introuce new prize cars, not tieing them into online challenges that must be completed witin a certain time frame would do the game a world of good. I didn't even buy Horizon 5, to be honest I have zero interest in buying it since I already have 3 and 4.Pretty much the reason I stopped playing Horizon 5, for me once the single player is complete, I can't be bothered with the seasonal stuff to unlock cars I can't get any other way. I know the altered it in the last update to give more weight to single player gamers and reduced the points needed but it was still a pain in the ass to do.
I'd expect some grind in Gran Turismo, it's pretty much a series built on doing so but yeah I agree, everything should be attainable with solo play.
