Not sure if it's the right thread but is it possible to add spacers (make the wheels flush with the body) after installing a widebody?

・Tickets
Drive the distance of a marathon (26.21 miles / 42.195km) in races or events over the course of a single day and you will win a 'Roulette Ticket' as a reward for completing your Daily Workout. Go to 'Garage' -> 'Gift' to claim your ticket.

The higher your Collector Level, the more likely you are to receive a high-ranking Roulette Ticket. These tickets will allow you to win parts and engines that cannot be found at the Tuning Shop, among other special items. In addition to the Roulette Tickets that can be obtained for completing Daily Workouts, there are 'Car Tickets' and 'Credit Tickets' to be won.

So the time penalties in-race for hitting another car are really gone, like in GT Sport. If I'm correct this a complete let down. They haven't figured out a way to implement them the right way.

My 1.6 mil credits haven’t applied yet.

Also, the game remembers my sport mode greeting from GT Sport.

They might still be in official Sport mode. No one has really fleshed that part out yet.

Problem ist, that nearly all PS5-games from end of 2020 and 2022 will be cross-gen.
I think, 2023 upwards we will see the real "only next gen games" with next-gen-graphics, when the last generation gets fallen. Often, the games got better in more lifecycle.
Let's hope so! Away from the graphics I still think the console is worth having, the speed and controller are a fantastic jump.
Which is something console Devs and game Devs said would be the case. The days of PS1 to PS2, GT2 to GT3 graphical leaps are gone. Think about how many games last gen could run 4k60, not many, that's the biggest change visually really, even ray tracing won't fully take off until the tech can be understood in all its intricacies.

No console from here on out will have those graphical leaps we saw in the relative infancy of the medium. Refinements such as loading times, matching highest resolution with highest framerates, innovation that can come from either or both of those things, that's where the real development is.

And the controller for me on PS5, makes the Xbox pad feel dead and ancient. But that's a very specific point.
Definitely, I was more just pointing out that if you buy a PS5 expecting a big graphical jump you'll be disappointed. That said I honestly think the loading times and controller are worth the upgrade alone.

This is absolutely horrific news if true. Why? Why would they force you to keep cars you don’t want or like? So the garage isn’t really ‘yours’, you’re just storing cars you have to store. In past games, even GTS, ‘my’ garage is mine to control, my stamp on it, no unwanted clutter. Why on earth would they do this? I’ll end up hating certain cars/makers even more if I have to keep looking at them in ‘my’ garage.

I’ve no problem with temporarily owning any car if it’s necessary for a race or mission, but I wanna be able to dump it if it doesn’t fit in with my tastes. Enforced collecting is ok, enforced permanent ownership isn’t. How the hell is this supposed to be anything like real life? It’s Pokemon world stuff.

Seriously. PD need to explain.
I got reminded that GTPSP have the same requirement because of it's car index feature too, although you could get rid of tradable cars by sending them to somebody else with a PSP and a copy of the game, assuming they also have a tradable car. Shareable cars though...

The manual is out

"・Sportsmanship Rating
This is an indicator of the standard of a player's manners on the track. There are six different ratings in total: E, D, C, B, A, and S. You will earn points for completing sections of a race without incidents. However, you will lose points for doing things such as colliding with other cars during races. At the end of each race, the number of points earned and lost will be tallied, and reflected in your Sportsmanship Rating. All players start with a Sportsmanship Rating of B."

They're not even mentioning time penalties for cutting corners. I don't know what to think

Ugh, REALLY don't like them intentionally holding back tuning options like that behind forced dailys. I was already going to wait a year or two before potentially buying GT7 (I have big personal issues with the catch the rabbit formula, no proper legacy layout for Trial Mountain + Deep Forest, and most of the game still being always online that will subsequently make the game become a useless coaster in the future) but between this forced daily nonsense, seemingly restrictive funneled single player career, potentially scummy microtransaction stuff (didn't know about it in Sport as I skipped it completely) and the inability to delete prize cars (I'm the weirdo who refuses to take hand me outs unless they are literally unpurchaseable hidden vehicles like in GT2, I buy everything I own in GT) I think I'm going to walk away for good (or at least potentially GT8).

Shame, I really tried to stay on board with GT but there's currently too much here that puts me off or that I disagree with for me to bite.
